As a business owner as well, we could not be more pleased with Laura's Professionalism, Expertise…read moreand Friendliness! If we could give Laura a 10 Star Review we would! This was our first time working with Laura. Our dog is 12 years old and is loosing his sight. In December of last year, we called our regular groomer that Cooper has been going to since he was 10 weeks old, but she was on Maternity Leave and was unable to groom him. Although he was very, very much overgrown and overdue for a grooming we decided to wait until our groomer returned from maternity leave and then decided that we should probably look for a new groomer that could come to our home due to Cooper's age and blindness. We found Laura though Thumbtack and she was the only one that contacted us right away. We live in Middletown and she lives in Coventry. We assumed that she would not be able to come all the way to Middletown, but to our surprise she already has many clients in Middletown and happily agreed to come. Within a couple of days we had our appointment set, and this is during Memorial Day Weekend. Laura arrived at our home at 10:15 a.m. with all her necessary equipment and finished grooming Cooper at 2:15 p.m. She was extremely thorough and gentle with Cooper; talking to him the entire time and taking her time with him. She even checked out his ears and low and behold Cooper had an infection going on in his right ear that we were not aware of. She took pictures of his ear and explained to us how we can clean out his ear better. She was Extremely informative! There was not one mark or bump on him that she noticed that she did not point out to us. She is hands down the BEST groomer we have ever had. Cooper has been with us since he was 8 weeks old and he is only and inside dog and very attached to us, so we could not be happier that we found Laura. You can tell that Laura not only does this for a job, but has a great passion for what she does. We really feel like we hit the Jack Pot!!! Thank you Laura for taking such great care in grooming Cooper and we are already looking forward to our next appointment and I'm sure Cooper is too!!!!

Renee has been grooming wire haired dachshunds for me for almost five years. All four dogs during…read morethis time really seem to like her and be comfortable with her. Renee takes an interest in the pets she cares for and is great with mentioning things she notices that could be important, like a beginning ear infection. The dogs look and feel wonderful when they come back from their visits with Renee. She's great And it's more than just grooming. I know I can feel comfortable leaving my pups with her.

The owner has dramatically changed the truth. I called and asked if she could make an exception…read morebecause of extenuating circumstances,. She failed to mention that in her rebuttal. Also, she hung up on me which caused me to call her back because I wasn't sure if we were disconnected or if she really unprofessionaly disconnected my call. She disconnected the call!!!! That is not harrassment. It has taken me a while to respond because my husband has had major health issues which I also told her. He was recently hospitalized for a month. She is insensitive and nasty and she has twisted the truth. Addendum: My freedom to rate and review your lack of professionalism is NOT harassment nor is it bullying. You have violated guidelines in your response here, my privacy and that of the person I referenced to you, although you did not listen to what I said because you have the incorrect name. I am stating facts, and my extenuating circumstances had NOTHING to do with my age! Many people think I am much younger when I talk on the phone and many businesses offer senior citizen discounts. Another bone of contention with you! "Playing a Senior Citizen"??? Really? The offended feelings are mutual!!!! There were other factors that I specified that I do not wish to publicize. And yes, all I did was ASK if you could make an exception. AND you are not the only groomer that I asked this question to, however, you are the only one with the lack of professionalism. You carried on and on just like you are doing here. AND yes, I have asked a beauty salon in the past if an exception could be made, not entitlement attitude like you accuse me of. My parents brought me up that it doesn't hurt to ask. However, with you it's different than with most. Instead you become a victim and turn me into a villain. I don't care how "good" you claim you are when you treat people with what you are accusing them of. I was not aware of your past trauma, however, I don't deserve to be your scape goat. You had an appointment, and I fully agree that's none of my business. There are tactful ways of saying that you have a commitment without divulging information. If you feel judged, you own that. As I stated to you, I fully understand about "time off". I don't feel entitled. I just simply asked. You state that I was pestering you? Then maybe you shouldn't be in business. I have more important things to do than to go back and forth with you. Life is too short.
