We've been ordering from here for years and it has consistently been great. We most recently ordered take out from here the other day and got the malai kofta (two orders), butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, naan bread basket, garlic naan, chickpea palak, vegetable biryani (two orders), and navarathan korma. We had a large group of seven and this amount of food made it easy to accommodate this many people. All of the food was great. Further, we were given a sample of the mango lassi which was amazing. On this specific occasion, it was raining, and the waiter did everything to help make sure that the food didn't get wet when transporting it to the car. My husband and I visited on a Thursday night, and there was only one couple in the restaurant when we arrived; the rest of the tables were empty. We sat down, and there was just one person taking our order, serving, and maybe cooking, but it took so long to get our food. I had the Tandoori Chicken, and it was flavorful. The Yellow Dai lacked flavor; I was looking for salt, which the table did not have. The best thing we had was the Garlic Naan. My husband had the Lamb Saag, which he said was good. Our plates came with rice. They gave us a little bowl of rice, and we had to ask for more. At the end, we realized the prices on the menu were incorrect, and the food cost more than advertised. They need to update their menu to show their new prices. All in all, we are not going back, and if you decide to go, you do so at your own risk. read more

Went for dine-in service tonight (we usually do takeout) and the food and service were phenomenal. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. My favorite dishes (navratan korma and palak paneer) were delicious and stayed hot the whole time. The olive oil naan was crispy and tasted great. My husband prefers his naan thicker but I liked these thinner pieces for the texture. All in all, very happy. I've never had a bad meal here. read more

After hiking Gertrude's Nose, we wanted Indian food and picked something along the way back home. We wanted to update that even though Yelp says the restaurant is open until 9pm. They actually are closed between 2:30 and 3:30. We tried to order our food after 2:30 and it got cancelled. When we got to the restaurant, the owner gave us the reason why it and was very respectful to us. Just a heads up. Overall, we ordered chicken tikka masala, Kerala fish curry, and garlic naan. The main dishes came with rice and there was a complimentary item which is like a cracker. We enjoyed the meal overall Garlic naan(4.5/5): Can't go wrong with some garlic naan with your curry. This restaurant changed hands recently and the food is delicious. Previously, my experience was that the service was very good but the food was mediocre at best. we had the Masala dosa which was excellent. The fIlling was nicely spiced and the wrapper light and not greasy. For main courses we had the vegetable curry ( mild for my spouse) and the restaurant signature chickenMasala. ( medium) for me. Both dishes had a nice blend of spice, balanced. The mild curry was a little too spicy for my spouse who can't take much heat. It was perfect for me as I like food with a little more spice. The signature chicken Masala was a 10. Garlic nan was light, with a nice garlic taste. Service was excellent and very friendly. I am a super fan of Indian food. We will be back! read more

We ordered takeout and some of the food was relatively OK. My biggest concern was with the garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, pakora, and mango lassi. The description for the chicken tikka states "Tender pieces of grilled chicken". However, the chicken was not grilled, or atleast did not taste like it. It tasted and had the texture of boiled chicken. The garlic naan was undercooked with some areas being more doughy and clearly undercooked. I was expecting the pakora to be actual decent sized pieces of pakora but was instead met with what seemed to be the bottom of the basket small pieces of pakora with a few mid-sized pieces. The mango lassi was on the house and seemed to be pretty good, up until a piece of what looked like plastic of some sort was found in it (attached is a photo of it). I like to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt and I hope this was just a bad day in the kitchen. read more

I went early in the evening with a close friend wanting to try something new. What a treat to discover this place, the food was so authentic and the service was great. My friend even tried a delicious Indian beer! The meat samosas came with two yummy dipping sauces and a pickled vegetable topping. I got the shrimp tikka masala and he got a lamb dish both with garlic naan. The naan was flaky and crispy! This is definitely added to my list of essentials and I will be back soon! Might be the best Indian food I've ever had! Hands down can't be beat anywhere around. Many unique dishes I've never seen before and everything is so fresh and authentic! Went for the Sunday lunch buffet and it is a very simple quiet place but the food makes up for any need of ambiance! Hence no photos because the food didn't last a minute on the plate. There was only one man working who I also believe is the owner, and he was extremely kind and friendly and made it a point to ask how the food was and even shared a carrot recipe!
