I tried twice, once eat in and another time delivery…read more Overall a gem for the area, some dishes were special while other dishes were good. Though small inside, loved eating outdoors at the restaurant, also delivery carried well. Don't love that they ask for a tip on top of a moderately pricey counter service type place Soy Garlic Tenders The chicken was crunchy, crispy & juicy. Cooked to perfection. The sauce was good. For me, not quite on the level of bb.q Korean fried chicken. Still a good option for the area. Pork and shrimp wonton noodle soup Warmed my soul. It was perfect, the broth flavored and simple. The Ramen noodles added great texture. The dumplings were delicious and large bites. Pro tip, get a side of dumpling sauce to dip the dumplings in. The Chinese Broccoli in the dish had a delicious flavor all to itself. I'm not sure how they did it (because it was in the broth like everything else) but it was unique and special when eating the bok choi Pan Fried Pork Buns (Bao Buns) They were next level and a must get everytime. I'm not sure how else to describe them except delicious Original Chicken Sandwhich Good but not a must get for me. Good cook on the chicken and the bun seemed special but the flavors didn't really pack a punch. Juicy Soup Pork Dumplings Great for the area but wasn't blown away Rock Shrimp with Spicy Creamy Sauce Delicious flavors of sauce, breading and freshness of shrimp. Great cook on the breaded Shrimp

TBH I was hesitant to trying a new spot as all the other competition has been a disappointment…read more This is my FIRST real ramen other than .99 package To my surprise, this was light, delightful, and tasty. We felt as if we were guests inside the owners kitchen. She, wish I knew her name, came out often to the tables to personally and personably ask how our visit was. This is a rarity among most establishments these days. This is what bought up the rankings to five stars tonight. Needless to say, we'll be back;) TIP: cash payments are without taxes ;) TIP: small private street leveled entrance TIP: delivery available I believe thru a 3rd party. Saw many customers walk-in to pick up. Online yes

Overall had a good experience at this new pan-Asian fusion restaurant. The inside ambiance was…read morenice, clean with nice decorations and fresh flowers on each table. My partner and I were seated promptly, and were attended well by our waitress. We went on a very cold evening and both decided to order the spicy malaysian miso ramen along with the peking duck buns to warm ourselves up. Our food came about 15 minutes after ordering, starting with the Peking duck buns which were flavorful and had nice tender meat, though rather small for the price. Our ramen came shortly after-- we loved the coconutty, umami slightly spicy broth which was reminiscent of laksa (I suspect that they Americanized this dish and named it ramen so the Putnam populace would want to try it). The noodles were nicely cooked and not too soft, and the chashu meat went nicely with the dish. Though we enjoyed our meal, for $18 a bowl and charging NYC prices, you are not getting NYC quality or portions. The egg was hard boiled and overdone, and not jammy like a ramen egg should be. The broth was very enjoyable (I personally love laksa and coconut based broths) but could have been better emulsified. I also feel as though the bowl of ramen could have been a little larger given the price point. Another small qualm I have is though our waitress was lovely, she didn't seem to be very familiar with the menu, or with different types of asian food. I know this is a fusion restaurant in Mahopac, but to hear someone say that making the Tonkatsu spicy would basically just be the same as ordering the spicy malaysian miso ramen felt like either the staff isn't familiar with the basic differences between their dishes, or that what is being served is not accurate to the dish it is named after (as Tonkatsu is NOT miso based, nor does it have coconut milk). I would love to see in the future the chef sticking to their cultural cooking without fusion, as Mahopac desperately needs more authentic asian cooking. I really genuinely did have a nice dinner here, and would love to see how this restaurant evolves and succeeds in this space.

Go for the fusion dishes, skip the Italian specials. We…read moreloved the bao buns and korean tacos. The specials that day (we got frutti di mare and another pasta a la vodka?) were disasters. Not sure if they used a fusilli, gemelli, or cavatappi, but it tasted like microwaved overcooked pasta. I was expecting a spaghetti, linguini, or bucatini for the frutti di mare and penne, ziti or rigatoni for the a la vodka, so just the choice of pasta was a surpenned, the fact that we got the same for 2 very different dishes indicated that that was the only pasta they had in the kitchen. All said, it would've been totally fine if both dishes didn't taste like mush. And both sauces tasted nearly identical. Sad, because service was great and the other dishes were absolutely phenomenal. They ran out of the ramen that day so I suspect that's a popular dish as well. I would just stick with the fusion style dishes. If my rating was based on the two fusion plates I had, would definitely be 4 stars!

Asian Fusion Meets Pub Food: A Delightful Dilemma…read more The biggest challenge at this restaurant is deciding what to choose! With an array of intriguing options alongside classic pub fare, the menu is an adventure! It's small but comfortable and well decorated. The service was quick and friendly. I started with a lychee martini, perfectly paired with Korean Short Rib Tacos. The balance of flavors was impeccable--neither too sweet nor too stiff, with a texture that was just right. The tacos delivered a burst of flavor that did not disappoint. We also tried the Bahn Mi, which had great flavor, though it might not make our reorder list. A favorite from the pub menu was fried pickles. A must-have at every restaurant I visit, served as coins--the only proper way, in my opinion. The breading was thick, crispy, and well-seasoned, reminiscent of a chicken nugget. In the most delicious way. I can't wait to return and explore more of the menu. This place is definitely on our list of regular haunts.
