My sister and I were hungry, so we came here. Parking: a private lot. Atmosphere: bright and loud Service: The ladies were nice and helpful Food: The Crab boil is separate from the buffet. We paid about $30 for a pound of snow crab, potatoes, and corn. We ordered the ruby sauce. The boil was tasteless. We were disappointed. The buffet area is small. It was clean. Our favorites were the dumplings, chicken, and steak with broccoli, the seafood salad. I had sushi, and it was ok. Overall, our experience was ok. We'd go back and get our favorites.

Ordered from doordash and picked up In person Food was ready fast Got lost- didn't know it was the same place as "ruby's buffet"- there are no visible sign of ruby's Cajun outside Got combo #2 and house fried rice The seafood was okay although some of the crawfish didn't taste super fresh Fried rice was also pretty salty fyi Pretty salty, would recommend eating it with white rice

In one word I'd call this place "average." For two adult buffets and one soda it was $39. I wanted sushi and my boyfriend wanted options so this worked for us. The sushi pieces were small or too big but tasted good. I loved the cheese wontons! The service was okay, this place leaves a big bowl on your table where you can put seafood shell, straw wrappers, etc to be disposed of in addition to the server.

Look, if you end up here, you're not looking for top grade sushi and high end quality food. It serves its purpose which is bulk food at your pace. We arrived pretty early upon opening so there was plenty of hot food options. Avoid the Italian and Mexican options. Stick to the Asian food. The only thing Cajun that I saw was crawfish. It is what is.

My favorite choices are fresh oyster and clams, oysters are small, but clams are very good. As tourist, it's a nice choice for quick dinner.

Lobsters and crabs were abundant. I learned about this place awhile ago from YouTube of which many gave praises. We frequented many mid level AYCE places like this and we've found that as time goes by, quality degrades with restaurants like this. Now there was a rather long length of time between discovering this place on YouTube and actually visiting this place. I wonder if the praises that were sung about this place were still valid. I would say yes. As previously mentioned, lobsters and crabs were abundant and makes it worth the trip on that alone. As for the other offerings, it was mostly surprisingly good. Don't expect Michelin quality food here. Generally, it's about the quantity BUT the food is pretty good. The sushi/sashimi shocked me a little. AYCE sushi is usually just passable but here, I thought it was pretty good. Everyone in my group loved the quality of the salmon. Other offerings, of which there were many, were pretty good. Standouts were the lamb chops in my opinion. Dessert options wasn't as extensive as the other AYCE places I've frequented but they do the job. Aside from the usual fountain soda options (serves by the restaurant staff) , they had a few fruit drinks and a milk tea option as well as some specialty drinks in a can. Scale 1 to 5. (Keep in mind that this is based on quality you'd expect from a typical AYCE restaurant. Food 5 (large selection of food and that shellfish!) Service 5 (Friendly staff and were pretty efficient in clearing the plates) Cleanliness 4 (Place was well kept. Deducted 1 star due to the stickiness of the floor around our table which reminded me of a movie theater floor... lol) Value 5 One con to point out. The restaurant was rather large yet the bathrooms were small and couldn't accommodate a lot of people at once. Not a huge quibble as the wait wasn't astronomical BUT it did seem odd that the size of the bathroom didn't match the size of the restaurant.

The restaurant itself makes a great first impression--it is very clean, well-maintained, and has plenty of parking available outside, which made it convenient for our party. The dining area is spacious with lots of seating, and they also offer private rooms that are ideal for large gatherings or special occasions. We had a group of about 20 people, and overall, the service was quite good considering our size. The servers were attentive, accommodating, and fairly quick in clearing plates and assisting when needed. It didn't feel like we were being neglected, which can sometimes happen with bigger parties. The highlight of this place is definitely the buffet. There is a wide and impressive selection, especially when it comes to seafood. They offer crab legs, whole lobsters, lobster claws, oysters, crabs, shrimp, and more. For seafood lovers, this is a big plus. The sushi selection is also extensive, and the fish tasted fresh without any strong or fishy odor, which speaks to the quality. In addition, they have a carving station, a variety of dim sum, and a good selection of soups, giving guests plenty of options to choose from. That said, there are a few downsides. The dessert section is quite limited compared to the rest of the buffet. There are not many options beyond basic ice cream and fruits, which felt a bit underwhelming considering how extensive everything else is. Another issue we noticed was that the restaurant only provides one crab cracker per table. For a large group like ours, this was inconvenient and honestly not very sanitary, as multiple people had to share the same tool while eating seafood. I also took the time to check the restrooms, and they were clean, which is always a good sign. However, I did witness a concerning situation where a staff member left the restroom without washing his hands. That was disappointing and raises concerns about hygiene standards. As a restaurant worker, maintaining cleanliness and proper sanitation practices is extremely important. Overall, the food quality and variety are excellent, and the experience was enjoyable for the most part. The restaurant has a lot of potential and does many things well, but there are a few areas--particularly hygiene practices, dessert variety, and small details like providing enough utensils--that could be improved to make the experience even better.

Arrived to a quiet, low key establishment, a bit eerie as we were the only ones there and light were still off, but were welcomed, none the less. Once everything lit up, the food was slowly being brought out and the choices for lunch were limited. No hot items at the sides and the sauces available were interesting, interestingly enough to concoct something on my own. Drink fridge was well stocked, but the dessert freezer was lacking in selection, Haagen Dazs was only available. Play area was the only buff/flex for us, as our busy toddler needed to roam free. I should have opted for a closer seating to the play area so we could take turns watching and eating/cooking :) but it worked out, like I mentioned, it was low key and we were rushed. Regarding food, they were helpful and provided service for items that were not readily available on the hot sides area, salt and pepper shrimp... YES PLEASE! Other than that, similar to KBBQ style, but not the same sauces, so be wary of that, I didn't mind, but wanted to share that. Veggies are always a win where there's pumpkin/squash and eggplant ^_^

Our waitress quickly gave us menus and water was served. Their menu wasn't an American traditional menu, with lamb, tripe, pork belly, intestine, and kidneys but they did serve common proteins also. We ordered fried dumplings and spring rolls while we paroozed the menu for dinner items. They came quick and take the roof off your mouth hot!! We ordered dinner, I had the dry pot style lamb 7 spice level out of 10, my dining partner salt & pepper chicken. My dry pot came quick, hot and so tasty. While it doesn't look like much from the outside, interiors are very classy, with tasteful decor and a koi pond. While I am a regular at their Hamilton location, I didn't have high hopes that this location could match the quality as it's difficult to replicate recipes for ethnic foods between restaurant locations, but the Maple Shade location serves up equally delicious and high quality food. A bonus is that it serves up traditional North Indian cuisine, as almost every other Indian restaurant in the area has menus that are more noticeably centered around South Indian cuisine, which utilize different recipes despite an overlap in some of the dishes offered. We started off with an order of onion pakoras (4/5). While they are a bit larger than those served at other Indian restaurants, they are well above average in quality and a great way to start off a meal. For meals, we went with the paneer masala and navratan korma. Both dishes were served in a generous portion filled to the rim of the serving bowls. The paneer masala (5/5) was prepared to perfection with just the right amount of spice and delectable tomato-based gravy, and among the best I've had among Indian restaurants in New Jersey. The navratan korma (5/5) was also flavorful and delicious with a nice medley of vegetables. The butter naan (4.5/5) was delicious and fluffy, just the way I like it, although a tiny corner of it was a bit overdone (didn't detract from the taste of it). Service (5/5) by Anil was excellent, as he was warm and friendly throughout the meal, checking in on us to ask if we needed additional rice or anything else. I'll definitely be returning to this Palace of Asia location and would happily recommend them to others looking for quality North Indian cuisine in the Maple Shade/Cherry Hill area.
