Staying in town on our way back to Indiana from Florida. Saw that there was a Ruby's in town immediately made me think of the salad bar- our local Ruby closed a couple years ago. It didn't disappoint. There were plenty of choices of lettuce, toppings, dressings and other salads. It was all cold and very delicious. My wife stuck with salad bar for her dinner. I also ordered the chicken tenders w fries and slaw. Everything came out at temp and was nicely portioned and at right temp. Our waitress was busy, but attentive to us. If they can't even invest in the money to keep their sign going, why would even want to try their food. Decided to go to Applebee's instead. Not great. Not awful. The worst part is the lack of service. They are always short staffed. ALWAYS. Don't expect anything in a hurry. Tonight we had to wait 10 minutes for silverware. Silverware? Yep, they were literally out of silverware. How does that happen? Our server went in the back and washed some for us. Seriously. The salad bar is yummy and so are the Texas dry rubbed ribs. But honestly, whoever owns this franchise is really dropping the ball. Cutting corners everywhere they can. The staff is running ragged. The interior light fixtures are full of dead bugs. Look up. Check it out. If they aren't cleaning the visible stuff, what else they aren't cleaning? Ugh. Wish I didn't crave that salad bar! It's in pretty bad shape outside as well. The only reason we are giving a 2 star is because the waitress was trying her best and we think she was the only one. The tables were filthy, the salad bar was filthy, and there were several tables that weren't clean. To top it off, there was a gentleman that was drunk, cursing and being very loud while there was two young children in the restaurant. The people working would rather stand and hang out with the drunk guy at the bar, then check on the customers. We won't be back. read more

The wait staff were kind, the atmosphere was severely lacking - dark, weird table coverings and part of one wall and the ceiling were deteriorating. A party of us went for Mother's Day and it started with an unprofessional talk with Mike(?) on the phone to see if there was a wait time. We ordered a chicken parmesan and cheeseburger. The chicken parm sauce was just some light tomato sauce slopped over some oversized fettuccine noodles with dry chicken. You could clearly see where a portion of the chicken had been cut off after it was cooked (why?). The cheeseburger was extremely over cooked and lacked in flavor. We have eaten at the 1936 N Jackson St Tullahoma restaurant for years. But no more. While waiting to be seated last Sunday, Mar. 19th, 2023, we could hear a male manager bullying a customer and spewing foul language. His voice carried through the entire dining room and was heard by my wife and others, including the female wait staff. A couple of weeks ago I placed a to go order and was told it would be ready in 20-25 minutes. We arrived 30 Minutes later and had to wait 15 more minutes on our order to come out. Food was cold and employee seemed like it was a bother that we were picking up an order. I know people are human and it could be a one-off so I tried again tonight. Placed an order (two entrees) 40 Minutes ago and was told 10-25 mins (weird, but okay). I've been here twice. Last time they didn't have my husband's Yuengling bere, but the food and service was ok, except for it being dead and still took 30 minutes to get our food. Tonight was terrible and I won't be back. We ordered a beer and a margarita. Again, they didn't have Yuengling. My margarita rim was absolutely caked with salt. We were sitting for nearly 20 minutes and our server took the order of a table seated after us before she took ours. The mozzarella stick appetizer took 20 minutes. It took another 30 minutes to get our food. My husband was almost done with his large beer before the food came. He asked for another one. It never arrived! His steak was overcooked and the onion rings were almost burnt! My chicken parmesan was also way overcooked. I could only eat one piece. We were going to get dessert and Irish coffee, but we had already been there for an hour and a half and were disappointed and just wanted to go home. I'll make my own dessert and coffee. I've worked in many restaurants both serving and cooking. I don't understand how, when it's not busy, that the service and food can be this bad. Aside from that the decor is desperately dated and the wallpaper is literally peeling off the walls. My husband went to the restroom and came back saying it was nasty and stank. Celebrated my birthday at Ruby Tuesday's today on the separate dining room. It was fantastic. The food was terrific as always and even though there were 25 of us, everything was served in a timely manner. They let us bring a cake and provided desert plates. Ruby Tuesday's is my favorite restaurant in Tullahoma because it is the nicest, with a great salad bar, pleasant and serene atmosphere with a decent bar. Love it! read more

Don't know what has happened to this restaurant--possibly lack of willing workers. Noticed a sign outside "now hiring". Service was extremely slow. We ordered salad bar and an appetizer with water to drink. Thankful for the salad bar because we waited ~30 minutes for the appetizer. We ordered it without scallions and it was covered so we had to send it back and waited another 10 minutes for it to come out cold. All very hard to eat while waiting for water refill. I was with a party of 5 on New Years Day. It took an hour before we got any food at all and then it wasn't all ready at once. 2 peoples potatoes came several minutes later, as did the chicken strips. One child's order of sliders came was slimy...don't know why, but then they remade them and they came out with a tiny sliver of cheddar cheese that wasn't melted. The burgers were way over cooked. One person ordered a medium well steak and it arrived rare. With the employees scrambling around in the kitchen and close to it, it seemed as though they were without a cook and underlings were trying to get things out anyway. If there was an actual phone number to complain to an owner I would, but it seems like they're not concerned with customer satisfaction, only making mines. We went on a Tuesday and one couple was leaving and we were by ourselves for a while. The salad bar was good and that was it. We both ordered a steak both ordered medium. Mine was rare and my wife's was well done. She ordered a baked potato with butter only and it came loaded with sour cream. They were out of baked potatoes at 6:30. Second time eating at Ruby Tuesday's in a long while. Our past few experiences were not at this particular Tullahoma location so I am not condemning this establishment for what another did. With that being said, this one was probably the worst. We came in after my sons graduation ceremony. It was around 9:30pm when we strolled on in their doors. While we had noticed many other restaurants were packed full, this Ruby Tuesday's was no where close. (Hindsight is 20/20). We were quickly seated then told to wait to be seated because they had not yet wiped the table down. After it had been cleaned, we sat and looked over our menu. Our waitress got our drink orders and I asked if they seared their steaks-to which the waitress replied, "I don't know, let me ask." She came back and said no. We then proceeded to order: Chicken Broccoli Pasta, Chicken Mac N Cheese, Ribs with Broccoli and Zucchini, Shrimp and Sausage Pasta, and some Chicken and Bacon something or another... 2 adults, 3 children- So, my husband and 1st daughter received their plates first. Afterwards, we received the cheese sticks my other daughter ordered as her appetizer, my son received his order second, mine third... yep. Nothing came out for my other daughter. The waitress said she was going to check on my second daughters food and would have it out directly... Meanwhile, everyone is tasting their food...no one liked their food except for my son. My shrimp and sausage meal order was drowned in a heavy grease substance, disgusting. It was not edible and I told the waitress just that. She asked if I would like anything else...I replied no. Everyone had nearly finished their food except my second daughter who had still not received her order. She disappeared and we waited and waited through refills and even asking for a box for my first daughters leftovers...Still no food for my second daughter. Garden bar had a lot of variety and everything appeared fresh however it wasn't very tidy over there. Also there wasn't a scoop for the blue cheese crumbles which was sad. Bleu cheese kind of makes my world go round. For my entree I got the chicken Bella with a side of mashed potatoes. It was very creamy and all around melt in your mouth good. I recently visited Tullahoma Tennessee for business, and have been staying next door at the Hampton Inn. I went over to have dinner at Ruby Tuesday walked in and was greeted so kindly and was seated at the bar, the bartender was very helpful in recommending me a great variety of drink options and dinner specials. the wait staff continuously asking if anything was needed to enhance my dinner experience and the management was so respectful and very genuine to make sure my meal was made to my expectations. I had a wonderful experience and would recommend anyone to visit and enjoy. Thank you to the management and restaurant staff. I give a four star experience. read more

I was not at all pleased with Ruby Tuesdays in Tullahoma. There is a musty odor when you walk in. The plates for the salad bar were not clean. The salad bar was not clean or filled. The selection was not what I am accustomed to at Ruby Tuesdays. We were a table of 7. 3 adults and 4 children. The children were nearly finished with their food when the adults received theirs. One of the adults had soup and salad and was not informed until everyone was eating there was none of her soup. They were understaffed. Our waitress was very sweet but spread out it a vast area. The children's burgers were burnt. My broccoli was cold. Just very disappointed. I feel like they need management training. Someone should make a surprise visit or send a mystery shopper. I read the reviews while we were waiting for our food and was really scared. I have to say, both previous reviews had some valid points but I think they were very low for what it was. I had the Grilled Salmon, mom had Chicken Tenders and Salad Bar, and my partner had the Chicken Fresco with the Salad Bar. For me, the salmon was cooked close to perfection. The mashed potatoes were a bit salty but not too much that it was not edible. Mom and my partner seemed to enjoy their salads and their respective entrees. I had a bite of the chicken and I liked it. Mom said their chicken fingers were extremely good. The service there was very good. The South really has very courteous servers. The server was very attentive with filling up our drinks. I'm not sure if the food came somewhat on the slow side but I think I was just jealous of my companions. They had their salad while I had to wait for my entree. The previous reviews were a bit harsh. If you really looked at their menu, they have more than just spicy or Cajun dishes. Some sides were a tad salty but not that bad that I wouldn't eat it. One more thing, I have never been asked if we wanted separate check anywhere before. Is it a southern thing? Every where we've been in TN always has asked us if we wanted separate checks. read more

Family was visiting RT in Tullahoma and asked us if we wanted them to bring us something. So this review is strictly on to-go-food. Ordered Chicken Primavera Pasta with extra sauce and Chicken & Broccoli Pasta. Basically, neither order had any discernable sauce on them. The chicken on the Chicken & Broccoli was overcooked. Both orders were not worth eating. I made some lemon basil sauce which was supposed to be on one of the dished and put plenty of sauce on the pasta which made both orders pretty good. Also the pasta served was not the proper type which affects the sauce pickup from the plate. This order was not what we expect from Ruby Tuesday and we will likely not visit this RT when in Tullahoma. Why spend money for food that has to be sent back to be fixed? read more
