Came here as my wife wanted the oriental salad. Her salad came with so much salad dressing even the waiter called it 'salad soup'. I know mistakes can be made, but once they are, there should be so sense of urgency to make it right. Even though the salad was sent directly back, I was able to finish my meal before her replacement salad came. Yeah we fancy like Applebees on a Thursday night.....or whatever Walker Hayes said! Lol On a Thursday night I'm at good ole Applebees. It was not packed, but several parties were spread throughout the restaurant. We were greeted and sat immediately, no wait at all! Our server Alison L. was great and very attentive. I ordered the infamous French onion soup and 8oz sirloin with "garlicky" green beans and mashed potatoes. I've been ordering the French onion soup since high school...that's been 10+ years. It was phenomenal as always. It never disappoints. Much needed on this Fall chilly Thursday. My steak was brought out over cooked. I asked for "medium" and was given "well done" so well it was tough to even cut into. I sent it back for it to be recooked to where the steak was cooked just right. The "garlicky" green beans as described in the menu were very bland and lacked the "garlic" they claimed to be on there. I def added salt and pep to those and the steak. After sprucing it up my meal was rather tasty. Also, due to me being a ranch connoisseur, I ask for ranch everywhere I go. Im sure you're wondering if it was good *drum roll* .....IT WAS GOOD! I've eaten at this location many times as this is one of the few remaining Applebees in the area. I've had great experiences in the past with service and the quality of the food, however tonight this was not the case. Arrived at the restaurant around 20:00 on a Saturday night and expected to have a wait. We were immediately greeted upon entering and shown to our table. After an approximately ten minute wait our server finally took our drink order. Since we had been sitting there we were ready to order. Our drinks, which were simply two sweet teas came shortly thereafter and our server disappeared. We ordered an appetizer and waited another 35 minutes. Our server finally brought another tables appetizer but.made no effort to check to see if we needed refills. She then disappeared again. After another five minutes decided to cut our losses and just left. I understand restaurants are busy on Saturday nights, but the lack of communication and visibility of our server were unacceptable. I would have asked for a manager but they were not viable either. All our server had to do the one time she walked by our table after serving our drinks was to communicate. Sorry Applebees, but it will be some time for me to return. read more

I almost didn't go because of some of the negative reviews but I'm out of town on business and I frequent an Applebee's at home. So, I took a chance and glad I did. The service was fast and friendly and Heidi was great. Restaurant was clean and appealing. I ordered the 12oz ribeye, broccoli and loaded mashed potatoes. When the server asked if I wanted any steak sauce I said yes because you never know. I found my steak perfectly cooked to med rare and great seasoning and taste. I didn't need to use any steak sauce to make it better. All the food was good including the apple pie dessert. Highly recommended. I'm glad I took the chance. read more

I ordered pick-up on the app and got the Tex-Mex Shrimp bowl and added chipotle lime grilled chicken to it. PHENOMENAL. I ordered mexi-ranch on the side and extra corn/black bean salsa. I also got an order of chips and queso. This bowl, in my opinion, is by far better than Chipotle, Moes, etc. It's also pretty low in calories and very high in protein especially since I had shrimp and chicken. Very flavorful and the mexi-ranch drizzled on top is the icing on the cake. I forgot to get the woman's name that brought out my order but she was great also. Went to Applebee's this evening and they were very busy, with a 30 minute wait which turned into 45 minutes. We just went there for drinks and appetizers. I ordered a White Russian, which is not part of their menu, but they made it for me. I got a glass with maybe two swallows thru a straw which cost $6.50. We ordered Queso and chips and boneless chicken wings. We finished our drinks and no appetizers. Finally after waiting another 45 minutes, I tried to find our waitress, who had 10 minutes before apologized for the long wait but said the food would be right out, but she was no where to be found. So, I asked the hostess if I could cancel our order. At that time, the manager came to the desk and I began to ask her to cancel our order, but she started to announce to the people waiting that the kitchen was backed up. But she stopped and told me that she was talking and to let her finish her statement, even thought I asked and she talked over me. I let her finish and then our server walked by and I asked he to cancel our order and went back to my table, but told the manager that she was rude. She followed me to our table and I told her that we had been waiting a long time and just wanted to cancel our order. Lo and behold, our server shows up with our food after I told her I wanted to cancel the order. To her credit, the manager said that she wanted to make us happy and we agreed to take the order. Well, the Queso was cold, the chips were crumbs, the chicken wings were barely warm, so we asked for a take out for the chicken wings and left the Queso and chips. They did not charge us for the food, just the drinks, which was fair. Bottom line is that I will not go back for food at Applebee's nor drinks. Poorly run operation. I understand a restaurant being busy, but that's managements responsibility to make it happen. By the way, they don't post the prices of their drinks on the menu. Order at your own risk. read more

Just tried placing an order with a couple of special requests, such as cutting up the chicken in an Oriental Chicken Salad instead of getting a whole half breast thrown on top, and guess what, you are forced to deal with an automated voice which is not set up to deal with special requests and/or additions such as "extra dressing" for example. One of the best Applebee's we have ever been to. They have 1/2 price appetizers through the week until 6pm. There are only a couple not included. We love the chicken wonton tacos, the beer cheese soft pretzels and bread sticks. We also like the Quesadilla burger and the Prim rib dipper. You can change your side to what you want. The cries are great here and we like the steamed broccoli it is always prepared correctly. They also have two mack and cheese meals with chicken which are also very good.
