We were greeted with a welcome to Jefferson's! We were seated quickly and had our drinks within a few minutes. We waited a while for our shrimp. It got their hot and fresh and was very good. Slightly sweet with a heck of a kick. It comes on a bed of cabbage. I got the cheeseburger special $9 for a cheeseburger with fries. It was delicious! The sweet tea was really good. I'm in town from Columbia, south Carolina i told my grandson to pick any where he wants to go since he lives here. He picked Jeffersons. We got there at 1:12 pm ordered our food. Then waited and waited and waited. Then at 1:58 our food came out (46 minutes) The burger was a jeffersons burger it was great. The fries were cold. They were busy. What a great experience. We arrived right after the opening and were warmly greeted. Our server was excellent. She got our drink orders, wrote down the details of each order, checked back with us often to see if we had any needs. The burger was a step up. They asked how you wanted it cooked (always a good sign) and did as you asked. The meat was quality and had a wonderful taste even without any toppings. The Marlin Potato Bun put it over the top. Its gentle sweetness perfectly balanced the savory meat. They have a full bar and a great variety of draft beer. I can't wait to return. read more

We drove an hour and half to eat here. Im so glad that everything went well. The music was upbeat and they have tvs around the restaurant. There is a separate area for the bar service. The food was amazing and our waitress was very attentive to oir needs. We had a party of 6 and it took about 20 min for us to be seated. They were very busy but the food came out quickly. We had fried mushrooms, corn nuggets and pretzel bits as an appetizer. Everything was hot and delicious. We had the following items: Southwest Chicken salad Angry BBQ Chicken Sandwich Buffalo shrimp Chicken Caesar wrap Buffalo chicken tenders Double dipped Chicken sandwich There weren't any complaints from my teenagers. Ate here with my partner for lunch. We came here for the Oysters Rockafeller and my partner was not disappointed! He is still talking about them over a week later! Great addition to the Winchester restaurant scene. Well, the raw oysters were awesome and large!! Wings were juicy and excellent! Cole slaw is homemade and their salsa chips wonderful. Fish and chips were very very good and homemade tartar sauce. Service is great and we will be back!!! read more

Ordered their chicken sandwich. Unbeatable. Meat wouldn't separate when bitten into. Had to chew ten or more times in order to swallow. Tried cutting off a piece... same thing. They offered to bring me a new one. Better, but still had to chew a lot and still hard to bite off from the rest of the sandwich. I would not recommend. However, although I did eat the second sandwich and did not complain about it. They took it off my bill. For that, I had to change my score from two stars to three. read more

My duaghter and I arrived at Jefferson's before the lunch rush. There were no other customers in our section, so our watiress was able to serve us our drinks and take our order before other customers arrived and were seated in our section. After 45 minutes, we still had not recieved our order. When the watiress did come back to our booth, she told us our order had been held up because there had been a "big take out order", which was some how responsible for us not recieving our food. Not even five minutes after the waitress told us this, a family of four, and a couple, who had been seated 15-20 minutes after us, recieved their orders. The estimated wait time for those seated after us, about 15 minutes. When the family of four were severd by our waitress, we left. Bottom line, Jefferson's has lost our business because of their poor service. I would advise anyone, who has a limited amout of time for lunch, do not go to Jefferson's. Their service is horrible. cheese sticks were warm.Got hotdogs and fries. Fries were good hotdogs were under cooked. Wife got chicken quesadillas which were like rubber. Also had Mac n cheese which was just a glob of over cooked or heated noodles. Had to send back. Waiter was ok didn't refill drinks at all but was descent. Girls at the desk were nice. Stopped coming about a year ago. Thought maybe it got better but just got worst. Wish you guys would do better not a lot of choices to eat at. read more

Atmosphere is good, lots of seating options and small amount of seating outside in the back. I wish the team had name tags so it feels more personal. I've liked all the food we've had there but my least favorite was the shrimp basket, most favorite are the pretzel bites. The crispy chicken sandwich with curly fries is my go to - I order my fries extra crispy and they are tasty! They carry a couple of cider options but currently no sours. Definitely recommend coming for game day or for a yummy lunch! read more

The food and service was very good. We decided to go back two days later. We will definitely stop by again the next time we are in the area.

Server seemed annoyed to be at work. Burger was overdone. The potato salad was too heavy on the sweet relish, for my taste.

Oysters shrank up super small and overcooked. Boneless wings tasted like they were just frozen and something you could buy at the grocery store. read more

I have been to eat here a few times and personally I think it's one of the better restaurants in this area and probably my favorite. I had been bragging on them to my sister and brother in law from Tullahoma. The came over for lunch today and said they were disappointed. She said she ordered a BLT and the bacon wasn't cooked enough for her. She likes crisp bacon. She said she took the bacon off the bread and placed it on a paper towel. She stopped her waitress telling her the bacon wasn't done enough for her and asked would she put it in the microwave. My sister said the waitress brought the bacon back and it was still undercooked so she just ate the bread to keep from complaining. I told her if she had asked for the manager the order would have been made right. I don't know the owners personally but I feel comfortable in saying they would have made it right. This business is top notch and does not want negative comments like this. I will go back in a heartbeat!!! read more
