Had a great meal while listening to 70s country. Great evening and our server was great. Kayla was great. See photos of the food.

Wow! If you have a boat you should come via water, they have your parking spots. This is definitely a nice place to come hang out, eat, listen to music and enjoy the weather. We came here to bring the party and wow we found amazing staff and a lot of people. They feature many things in this place. I'll tell you about the ones I experienced. The view is incredible, it's a bit of a drive coming from Nashville but definitely worth it. They have a restaurant and they have a bar outside. They don't offer the restaurant food to the bar but they offer a bar menu with appetizers and drinks. We have to be seated by the hostess/hosts if you want to eat the restaurant food. We stayed at the bar area. We had the chicken and steak tacos and we had the chips and salsa. They were ok. The drinks were delicious. They have two sides and both sides offer live music, this is like a big stationed floating party boat. They have only 3 stalls in the girls bathroom on the side of the bar but didn't check if the restaurant had any other bathrooms. They offered hand sanitizer outside of the doors too. They have a rental office as well if you want to rent a boat or water stuff. Definitely a place to come and hang out for the day. They have a beach area at the entrance as well

What a great place to go on a nice day! I am moving to Winchester in a month and I came to check out the town. This was one of the only places open on Sunday for lunch and it was exactly what we were looking for. The drinks were perfect! The food was good and the price was great! Nothing too fancy but it was perfect for any afternoon you just want a great atmosphere, good drinks, and American food!

Big missed opportunity for this great location. Overall, the staff is friendly, it is nice to eat outside on the water and the wings are good. However, the restaurant doesn't use quality ingredients (canned mushrooms for example) and management has repeatedly made poor decisions on how to run the business. On the 4th of July I watched the restaurant sit empty majority of the day while dozens of groups of people, both locals and guests from out of town, tried to sit and eat but were denied because in 4 hours fireworks were going to be lit on the lake and the restaurant was reservations only (which was not posted anywhere for people to see). They also closed the bar and opened a limited second one in the front portion of the restaurant (4-5 liquors, couple beer choices). Management refused to allow people to order other drinks even though the full bar sat empty of guests. We decided on 2 basic vodka cocktails and paid $35 not including tip. It is unfortunate to overhear guests and staff both not understand the reason for the decisions made and have a terrible experience. Winchester is a lovely area and this is the only restaurant in the immediate vicinity and to watch group after group of excited and hungry guests and locals be turned away one right after the other was incredibly disappointing. the outrageous prices for the mediocre quality is simply sad. I have been here multiple times over the past few months and have held out hope for things to turn around for my experience but my belief is the only reason this place is still in business is because there is no competition. My recommendation: go to sit on the water and be outside and enjoy the marina and an appetizer, if you are planning on enjoying libations, go in knowing they are overpriced.

This place is perfect on a nice day! Beautiful covered outdoor seating, places to park your boat or rent a bot if you don't have one. The best part- they're DOG FRIENDLY!! Because of this we ate here all 3 nights we stayed at Twin Creeks RV Park. They even have a "Bow wow" section on the menu. I would HIGHLY recommend the Tim's Ford Peach drink and the Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese bowl! Pizza was just OK, nothing to write home about. Service was great the first 2 nights, a bit slow the 3rd. Overall great place and would definitely recommend!

The food here could use some work, but let's be honest most people go here for the outdoor dining on the lake. We enjoy the atmosphere and the live music on summer Saturday nights, but if you're expecting a 5 star meal, this isn't it.

I saw they were rated 3.5 stars, and I was shocked!! I've been here 3x in last 14 days, each time, food, service and atmosphere were excellent!! Bands later in evening on the weekend, great attention from staff, and they work their tails off!! I heavily recommend them!!

After a long day in the sun on a boat my family and I decided to try this restaurant. Our server who was fabulous ( disclaimer our server didn't do anything wrong she was great and only doing her job shout out to our local alabama girl!) had taken our drink order but as she gets to me I tell her my drink order and keep in mind I am freshly 21 and getting my ID updated to the right way was not important to me because it expired in 2026 and every other marina has taken it. She went and got her manager and the manger talked to my parents and said "We can't serve Red box ID's because it's suggested because it's easy to forge" when my mom took back the ID the manger gave her a disgusted look. Now apart from this I am an observer and I don't like conflict very much and I observed the atmosphere. All the manager did the entire time was sit at the bar or hovered over the workers as soon as they steeped in the back corner. Never was she really out on the floor. To top it off some of the young girls who were handling the food would go up to the tables who had ordered and pass out the food in a lazy like manner, kinda like their legs didn't work. When this happened to us my mom had said I didn't order that and she just looked at us to pass around the food for her. Most of the girls didn't look happy to be working there it seemed and I don't blame them with the type of manager they have. Now let's get into the food. For one everything on their menu is garbage other than the pizza now if that's their specialty they need to stick to that. I ordered an Asian rice bowl and the chicken was dry there was no seasoning and the rice was mushy and gross and for $15.99? Honestly after I couldn't order a drink I knew I didn't want to eat there but I gave the place the benefit of the doubt and honestly I shouldn't have. I will never come back they don't deserve my business or my family's business after the way we were treated.

Limited menu. Very bland, basic entrees. Not worth the visit, let alone the climb down and back up the lake bank.

Over priced food and drinks! They need to remember where we are. Catering to the summer elite will not endear them to the locals.

Came by here for a quick lunch after work a few weeks ago. Satisfying experience!…read more This restaurant is styled like an old timey diner. There's lots of parking out front and the interior is spacious and has plenty of room for lots of visitors. They have classic American lunch options like hamburgers and onion rings, but they also do plate lunches with a little bit more southern flair. One of their specialties is "broasted" chicken, which is a method of frying chicken using a pressure cooker. For my lunch, I ordered a plate with two broasted tenders, fries, a roll, and a drink. Service was warm and friendly. It did take my meal a decent time to come out, especially since they weren't super busy, but it was hot and fresh when I received it. The tenders were very large and juicy. Broasted tenders tend to not have a very dense batter/coating but what there was I found crispy and crunchy. I do wish there'd been a little extra seasoning/kick to it, but solid tenders overall. The fries comes in several different varieties ("seashore," crinkle cut), but I chose seashore, which I interpret to mean they had Old Bay or some other seasoning on them - whatever it was, it tasted pretty good. The roll was kind of sad and hard but it obviously wasn't the main event, lol. I enjoyed the chicken and fries and it was a perfect portion for a more manageable but still very filling lunch. Worth a try if you're in the area!

My coworker and I came in here for a late lunch after working across the street at Falls Mill…read more Hensley's somewhat recently took over this convenience store and we were curious about the food as we noticed across several visits the parking lot was quite full. Though I miss seeing the sign for its humorously named predecessor (the "beer, baloney, and more" store), Hensley's is an upgrade in terms of food! In addition to standard gas station snacks, Hensley's cooks up burgers and chicken sandwiches as well as a southern plate lunch each day. They also have a small salad bar. Desserts include fried pies; I thought I saw a sign for ice cream too though I never spied a machine. The place is hoppin with locals and it's clear word has spread. There's not a lot of super convenient options in the area but even still, we enjoyed our meal. My coworker had visited before on an earlier trip I didn't attend and she enjoyed their Philly cheesesteak. This time, she got a chicken bacon ranch wrap and onion rings. I ordered a hamburger with bacon and French fries. Their soda machine wasn't functional when we visited but we were able to get drinks from the convenience store side. Diet Coke only though, no Coke Zero and no Pepsi products whatsoever. /: Our food took a few minutes to come out but they were busy and it was clearly fresh. The burger came on a simple but soft bun. It had pretty good flavor, though I will say it was a touch dry in parts. Fries had a slightly frozen-ish texture and might've benefited from a touch more salt but they were hot and plentiful. The bacon on my burger was cooked very well and was nice and crispy. My coworker enjoyed her onion rings and said the CBR wrap was her favorite thing she'd tried so far. The menu covers a good many American classics and the plate lunch specials seem to change often and were quite popular on my visit. You pay at the counter with your ticket when you check out. I think the prices are fair. Service was nice and helpful. Overall, this is a solid stop for some fresh grub in an area that was previously mostly bereft of options. Give them a try if you're passing through.
