    Bang Bang Shrimp

Was in the area overnight for a Jack Daniels tour, looking for a good local spot to try. Once we arrived we had about a 20 minute wait, made our way over to the bar area and the two ladies behind the bar were overwhelmed to say the least. Got a drink and waited for our table. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very welcoming with a good local feel. Had a couple of appetizers, jalapeño egg rolls and bang bang shrimp, both were good. For our entrees we had the loaded pizza, Philly Cheese Steak and the Beer Cheese Burger. Pizza hands down stole the show, local sourced beef was good as well, just didn't really care for the beer cheese. Would definitely try it again!

Parmesan crusted chicken with loaded mashed potatoes

We were seated promptly, server came over immediately even though they were busy. Got our drinks and placed our order. Watched the host who seats people clean off tables by pushing what was left on the table onto the floor with a towel. We had to wait for about 15 minutes after we were done with our appetizer for our dinner. I had the 8oz prime rib and my wife had the Parmesan crusted chicken. Both were very good, the only problem that I had with my meal was that my sweet potato fries were ice cold and inedible. Other than that it was a good meal. Before leaving, I went to use the restroom and it was a total disaster. Other than that I would recommend this place for a decent meal.

Our server's name was Knika and she was a hoot. I'm telling you. They don't open the doors till 3pm weekdays and we were there table of 5 at 3:05. She was the only person on at the time and must have had a table at the door at 2:59. So right away she had an 11 top. She worked us together- but separate- multitasking like a pro. We ordered 2x the hamburger steak. No longer on the menu but still in the kitchen so they made it. Both people ate it all. No leftovers. Mom got the Bang Bang Shrimp. She tried to eat it all. But it was a little spicy for her. (She is a sissy though) I got the Little Debbie. SOOOOO good. But could only eat 3 slices of the 9 in pie. Leftovers for me. Cold pizza for breakfast. lol Aunt ordered the Chicken Florentine and also finished it. So I guess it's safe to say that we all recommend this place.

Perfection: French Dip sandwich with fries.

One22West is a delicious restaurant in downtown Tullahoma, TN. They have a wonderful, perfect, delicious, French Dip sandwich with, horseradish on the side, and fries. It was Perfect; and I've had it before and it was perfect then also. The decor inside is festive with plenty of tables. Our server was the best. She was very attentive and got our order right the first time; something lacking in a lot of establishments these days. The food was hot, drinks were refilled continuously, and the cost was extremely reasonable. We fed five people for $100; enjoying good conversation without being rushed. Stop into ONE22WEST today for the best meal in Tullahoma. Follow me on Yelp for wonderful food places, sights to see, and for places to shop.

She deserves a commission, because it absolutely worked on us. And honestly, it delivered. Now that I live in Texas, I am becoming quite the barbecue aficionado, working my way through all the regional styles this country has to offer. Tennessee BBQ?? - sign me up! This stop was well worth adding to the list. We were seated quickly and decided to split a combo plate, the Barrelhead (something?). It is exactly what you want from a combo. Brisket, ribs, chicken, cornbread, and two sides. We went with the sweet potato casserole and onion rings. The standout items were the ribs and that sweet potato casserole. The ribs were tender, flavorful, and the kind you keep reaching for even when you are already full. The casserole was rich and comforting, easily one of the best sides on the table. The chopped brisket was a bit on the dry side, and I found myself wishing we had asked for sliced brisket instead. This feels like the kind of place that would happily accommodate that kind of request. The cornbread was just okay, nothing memorable, but not a dealbreaker. Even with 2 of us splitting the plate, we still had leftovers, which is always a win and Wayne the dog who enjoyed them - would give it 2 paws up!. The four of us could not resist trying one of the newer desserts, the peach cobbler with ice cream. It comes out warm in a small cast iron dish, which is always a good sign. I do not know why I keep expecting fresh peaches in these desserts, they are almost always canned, but it did not matter. The dish was completely cleaned out in minutes.

We were greeted by the bar tender and immediately brought water and followed by drinks and taking our order. The service was as out of this world! As we comfortably sat and enjoyed conversation in a quiet, classy, little, cozy, bar we had a phenomenal meal, drinks and dessert. Our meal started with the winter salad, followed by the tomato soup. Then we chose to have the Duck and by that point, we were stuffed! All were beautifully seasoned, cooked and enjoyed! Our compliments to the chef. But we weren't done. Ordered a ribeye, asked if they would do pittsburgh, told they (meaning the kitchen) don't do that. So I said very rare, and that the very was important. Came out on the high side of normal rare, but accepted it (my own fault). The meat was essentially unseasoned, and had hard gristle in it? Definitely either a cheap cut or poorly cut piece of meat. 10/10--absolutely worth the stop!…read more If you're heading to Lynchburg for the Jack Daniel's Distillery (or any of the nearby whiskey distilleries), do yourself a favor and eat at Barrel House BBQ afterward. First things first: if you're a die-hard brisket lover, just know they don't serve brisket. But honestly? Their ribs more than make up for it. Coming from Florida, where truly great, non-franchise barbecue can be hard to find, we're always excited to try local BBQ when we travel. Barrel House absolutely exceeded our expectations. We ordered the three-meat platter with sides (and couldn't resist adding a couple of extras), and every single bite was fantastic. The meats were tender and juicy, nothing was dry, and the barbecue sauce was incredible. What really made the experience stand out was the atmosphere. It's a small, tucked-away hole-in-the-wall that feels welcoming the moment you walk in. You can grab a marker and sign the walls, which was a fun touch, and they also encourage guests to leave signed dollar bills that are donated to a charitable cause each year. It's those little details that make places memorable. The owner (or manager--I never did ask which) was outstanding. Even during a busy lunch rush, he was everywhere at once--helping customers, running food, supporting his staff, and making sure everyone was taken care of. You could tell he genuinely cared about both his employees and his guests. Sometimes the best restaurants are the ones hiding down a side street, and this place proves it. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in Lynchburg. Highly recommend!

Their potato salad was one of the better ones I've had in a long, long time. The vinegar slaw was great and original as well. Nicely done. The best part of this meal were the ribs. I have got to say that these were the best ribs I've ever had in my life. And, let me tell you... I've had a lot of ribs... the meat just melted off the bones. The flavor was next level. And, the proportions of meat to bone are ones I've never seen in my life, not even at a backyard barbecue. If you haven't been and are in the area, go check it out!!! You won't be disappointed.
