Food was ok at best...steak, carnitas, and al pastor street tacos were flavorless unless you added the salsas. Birria quesadilla was good but the meat was dry. The biggest issue was service... no drink refills, no chips and salsa refills. Ordered queso dip, and never got it. Waited quite a while for the food to come out. Added a to go order and it never came. Witnessed a server as the table next to us if they were ready for the check, but they never got their food. Amazing Mexican food! Would have gone back again but had plans the next night. Not a location that pops as you drive by as it is located in a side strip mall. The furnishings are simple with booths and tables with a small bar. Benjamin was my waiter who provided excellent service and recommendations on his street tacos. Tough to pick out which ones! I went with the Birria and Al Pastor versions and was not disappointed. It was Taco Tuesday so there was a $2 off on the order. The meat was perfectly executed and had tons of flavor. The pastor was tender and the birria was moist and cooked perfectly. It is hard to compare street tacos but I simply cannot wait to try all of the variations. The menu was crazy in terms of detail and offerings... TN-Mex is the new way to go with even Nashville hot in the mix! The tacos were packed with meat and the cilantro and onion were super fresh! I was pleased with my choices. A patron named Wes at the bar recommended the mini Chimis as those we his Dad's go-to! Will be back next time in TN! Food was fine the service however was so bad!! A party of 5 adult and 1 toddler. Once we got seated we waited 20 minutes before our waiter ( maybe owner) took our drink order. We then were waiting another 20 minutes for those drinks. I saw the waiter sitting at the bar BS with a friend I guess? I had go and ask what about our drinks, Oh I will bring them in a minute, right 10 minutes later our drinks finally arrive. Then he goes back to his friend I again went up to him and told him we were ready to give them our order. We gave it to him and I kid you not 55 minutes to get the food to come out. I order 6 tacos I got 5. The toddler was suppose to get a hotdog, nope just some fries and they were cold. Had to beg for refills on our drinks. So we ended up there when we finally got our food for 2 hours. And trust me I saw that folks came in and got their food and left while we waited. I kept looking over at the bar area and saw our waiter talking and laughing with is friend. So while the food is not bad the service (let me see how do I say this nicely) SUCKS!! When I went to pay the lady behind the counter ask how everything was I told food was good but service was really bad ( Guess what she a front row seat to the whole time) not even a I am sorry. So take my advice go to one of the other Mexican restaurants in Manchester TN not this one. The service will be much better, at either one of the 3 Amigos or the one behind the Taco Bell. We were staying at a campground in Manchester Tennessee, and after fighting the heavy traffic in Atlanta and Chattanooga, we needed a place for dinner. So I consulted my trusty Yelp App and found this lovely restaurant. It is in a storefront in a strip mall and the outside appearance doesn't do it justice. Nancy, our friendly and charming waitress took our order. Dave had the chicken Chimichangas and I had the combo fajitas. Nancy brought us some homemade tortilla chips and three kinds of sauces that made Dave very happy. Each entree came with a large plate of refried beans, Spanish rice, salad, pico de gallo and guacamole. Everything was homemade and delicious and Nancy made us feel like we were home. Many have praised this unpretentious place stuck in a basic no frills strip shopping center in Manchester. I can see why. Good food, fair prices, prompt service. Impressive. And a decent bar. Not a huge menu but the chori pollo was extremely well done, and they serve fresh grilled veggies rather than bland refried beans. We just moved to the area and we're looking for a good Mexican restaurant. We noticed this place located quite close to our new home. Staff is incredibly friendly and meals and service are very fast and efficient. Flavor and presentation of the food is all wonderful. I just wish that they serve traditional tacos rather than just the street tacos. Also I'm not sure what is with all of the places here serving cheese sauce over their burritos, we are accustomed to red or green sauce wet burritos, so if you want that you need to ask for it when you order. read more

Omg! So i popped in last night for dinner and Im thankful I did! The restaurant wasnt overly busy and the inside wasnt overly decorated but the food is A+! I had the nicest waitress ever, an absolute sweetheart named Erica and she took very good care of us and my request to not cook shrimp with the other food in my molcajete meal. It's not the norm to do such requests but she was kind enough to personally ask the cook to cook and plate my shrimp on the side. Fish makes me ill but my gf loves it and wanted her to enjoy the shrimps. I ordered the Maya volcano rock dinner and for $21 its the best deal ive seen in a long time. 6 tortillas. Rice & beans snd a molcajeye filled with chorizo, cactus, steak, chicken, and cheese. It was so good. I unfortunately dropped my chicken breast on the floor but luckily there was more chicken already sliced up in the molcajete. I love the sauces brought to the table too, guac ranch? I've been in Manchester less than two months and I've eaten here probably 10x. Easily my favorite spot in town. I love the chori queso, barbacoa and pastor tacos, and quesadillas. We ordered steak and chorizo tacos and guacamole and chips. The horchata was smooth and refreshing. The chorizo tacos were excellent. I'm very picky about my steak tacos, so I'd give them 3.5 stars for those. The meat quality could be approved. Lots of fatty bits, but good flavor. Either meat needs to be leaner or more care taken to remove the fat and prevent it from making it to the customer. :-) Guacamole and green sauce were delicious! read more

You know what they say about assuming... it was pretty busy with only two tables open and no reason to believe that was going to change. We ordered two teas, 2 pastor tacos, a carnitas, and an asada. This place was incredible. We stopped through coffee county to see the waterfalls at old stone fort. We got right in. We sat down immediately and ordered quickly and our food came out really fast.
