Stopped in hear with some friends while out riding the backroads on our Harleys. So glad we did, the food was amazing. I have to admit pulling in the parking lot I didn't have high expectations by looking at the place. But once inside it was cozy and clean. The wings were superb with the Bam-Bam sauce, fries were amazing and the other two with me enjoyed there food as well. Oh and the sweet tea was made perfectly!!! Service was excellent our waitress never skipped a beat she made sure we always had everything we needed without being a pest. When we find our selves back in the area we now know where we are going for lunch...

Lunch today, Always satisfied with Freddies. Also have the best wings! Manchester's hidden gem.

Don't miss this wonderful country eatery. Service was wonderful. Food was delicious and the prices are very reasonable - shocking for 2023! The ribeye ordered medium was cooked to perfection. Juicy, tasty and tender!!! The side salad was filled with fresh veggies. The crinkle fries were an indulgence worth the calories. I believe the menu changed from years past.

Stopped in Manchester and on my list of places to eat was Freddie's. At first glance this is a bar with seating but it's really much more. There is no doubt this place is a big part of this community, and my server/bartender Kelsey proved the point. Everyone (except me) who came into the bar she knew, and did not need to ask them what they were drinking as she was pouring it before they sat down. I sat at the bar and ordered a beer and she told me they had ribs available...seems they also do smoked meats here. I was craving a burger so I ordered the onion strings as an appetizer and a cheeseburger. The onion strings...delicious and made in-house. Great flavor, crispy, and ranch dressing is provided should you want to dip. The cheeseburger was good...pretty standard burger cooked medium and good char on the burger and the crinkle fries were good too! Overall a good meal and the service from Kelsey was great...her smile alone will make you feel welcome!

Ok if you are in Manchester and looking for a bite to eat this is the place. It is open under new ownership and they have made it great. The burgers are tasty and real meat. The prices are extremely reasonable. I had the shrimp dinner w/side salad and fries. The shrimp was delicious and hot and perfectly cook so they weren't squishy. Had a starter of onion strings that were seasoned very well. The server are very attentive and friendly, our drinks were never empty before a replacement was there. She was also helpful in suggesting other restaurants to visit when I was in town again. She told us of the weekly specials for lunch which sounded great. I spoke with several other patrons and they said the philly cheese steak was excellent and so were their wings.

Great service and even better food. Of course we had the fresh cut ribeye; it didn't disappoint. The steaks were very tender and cooked to perfection. This is a small town dinner type restaurant, but with quality steak.

It's not overcooked or undercooked. The flavor is also good. The skin has a nice crunch to it. I also didn't think their bbq ribs were bad, either. It was nice and tender. I haven't had a bad side dish here. So I really don't have complaints about their sides. They also had a nice salad bar going. They had a lot on their salad bar. The staff were also pretty friendly. Will definitely be back if I'm ever in the area again!

I stop everytime I head down south from Nashville, usually working in the side room for half the day so I can avoid rush hour in Nashville. From a beer standpoint, this is one of the top breweries in Tennessee. They are well known nationally, as well. The building is a warehouse looking structure on the outside, but they have nicely decorated the tap room. Ample seating both inside and out and they have bands on some weekends. I have tried the flatbreads, a couple of sandwiches, and the Dinosaur wings (only kidding, but they are the largest chicken wings they can buy, so ample sized). I prefer the wings most of the time - except their rendition of Nashville Hot - but this time opted for a meatball sandwich. If you are trying to be an Italian food afficianado, this might not be in, but the sauce works well with these meatballs and there is ample cheese. As one normally focusing on Keto, adding a fork meant I could eat the kibbles and bits and leave the bun. Two thumbs up. As for the beer, they have some of the best IPAs and I finally tried the porter this go around. Many of their beers are rated above 4.0 on untappd and it is not just a local bump kind of thing. The brewery, as a whole, is 3.92 and also well deserved. To my normal "Will I be back" question, I think the answer is already clear. I do return almost every time I pass by.

The weather has been fighting us so we finally got to go to Machine Falls in the morning and worked up an appetite before we hit the road back to Texas. This cafe was wonderful. The cook was also alone but she was busting out orders as quick as she could. We appreciated the hustle and totally recommend this cafe. I had the roast salt, I mean beef with mashed taters and okra and pinto beans with an unthawed roll. All the food was cold, it was sitting in the window for 12mins while my friend's food was being made. They got the Ruben with fries. It was drenched in grease and there was barely any meat in it and the kraut was super salty. The fries were frozen seasoned fries, they were okay at least they were hot. The lady put my food in the microwave so the second time around it came out hot thanks to Chef Mic(rowave). We won't be back.

There were a dozen or so tables when we arrived. The hostess sat us in a booth and we were greeted by our server. She was very nice, and took our drink order, and we placed an order for the Crispy Pickle Chips appetizer. She brought our drinks and a short time later our appetizer. The four of us placed our orders: Caesar Salad w/ Grilled Chicken and side of Rice Pilaf, Atlantic Salmon, Classic Cheeseburger, and the "NEW!" Country Fried Steak. The pickle Chips arrived first. They were crispy. Hard and dry with a thick, off-tasting crust which over powered the pickle. They tasted like they were right out of a freezer bag. They came with a ranch-style dipping sauce which couldn't save them from the awful, thick hard crust. Next came our entrees. The Classic Cheeseburger was good, not great, but the best this were were served that evening. It came with French fries which were also good. Next was the Caesar Salad w/ Grilled Chicken and side of Rice Pilaf. The salad was okay but nothing special. A but under dressed as the chicken absorbed a lot of the standard caesar dressing. The rice pilaf barely resembling pilaf. It was missing the basic vegetables which make a pilaf correct and flavorful. the Atlantic Salmon. looked nice but fell short as soon as it was cut into. It was seared on the outside, warm in the center and cooked, but mushy. Seems like it was frozen, microwaved, and then seared on the outside. It was edible not not worth the $20.99 price. Finally cam ethe "NEW!" Country Fried Steak. OMG! It was horrific. When our server stopped by and asked :is everything terrific" I had to speak up. I told her "not exactly". The Cheesy Grits side I ordered were cold and the cheese was absent. She said "I can fix that" and took them away bringing back the dish she took, I could tell as the pepper I sprinkled on top was there, and the dish was hot while the grips lukewarm. They were runny and blank and again . . . no cheese. The grits however paled in comparison to the country fried steak. The heavily breaded perfectly round patty was clearly a frozen ground meat formed patty pulled from the freezer. Fried and covered with a thick, pasty, peppery white gravy made from a mix. I don't mind paying the high prices from this economy, but this meal was an embarrassment. The service was good and the server clearly ashamed of what she was forced to serve, I was shocked that after voicing our disappointment that the manager never even came to our table to apologize, or even try to defend their food. He/She needs to be fired, and at a minimum order, eat, and pay for the meal we had just been served. I invite the CEO, District Manager, and store manager to sit down at one of their restaurants for a meal with me, at my expense. I dare them to eat the meal we paid for and stand behind it as quality food at a fair price. They should be ashamed of themselves.
