Placed our order, found a table and waited for the "beeper" to go off telling us to come and get our food. The wait for a couple of sandwiches and a shareable was a little lengthy. I'm not much on micro breweries, but I enjoyed their pale ale. The place is quite comfortable and has a unique decor. We were finally able to get our food after about 25 minutes. I had Rye of the tiger, wife had In da club along with a cheese and pita medley. I must say after reading the previous reviews and waiting almost half hour, the food was just average. May or may not be back.

I enjoyed this delicious and refreshing pineapple cider..

Such a nice addition to Pulaski, we were up visiting our son in college and came across, Common John brewing and we loved it. We'll be back.!!!!

This is Noah's favorite place!l, so we had to check it out! Common John is a great place to hang out with your friends! They have delicious beer and food. We loved the Nashville Hot Chicken Pizza! You can never go wrong with cheesy bread! Great people and great service. Looking forward to going back on a nice day to enjoy the outdoor area!

We were in the area for a concert at The Caverns and wanted to grab a beer and some food. A google search led us to Common John's and I'm so glad it did! We ordered several types of beers, all of which we liked. They have a nice variety of styles that they brew as well as a few guest taps. You can order food at the counter and we went with the BBQ Chicken Flatbread and I added pineapple (my favorite pizza topping, don't judge me). The flatbread was nice and crispy but thick enough to hold the good amount of cheese and toppings. My husband ordered the Reuben as well as their wings. The bartender suggested he order the wings extra crispy with the sauce on the side - a recommendation that paid off since the wings stayed crispy and were cooked perfectly. The kettle chips that came with the Reuben were surprisingly delicious (usually I'm all about fries) and well seasoned. We also split a soft pretzel which was a great snack. I would definitely recommend the beer cheese which was creamy, mild, and had a nice light beer flavor. They have a lovely patio area and a rather large outdoor space they use to host music and food events. If and when we're in the area again, we will definitely be back! Dog friendly and kid friendly! (Honorable mention: the bathrooms were very nicely decorated and clean - which I always appreciate).

What an amazing find while driving back from Florida to Missouri. Feels like a family business. So rare today. If we had a place like this locally, I'd be there every week. It doesn't feel like "we're trying to make money here." It feels like "we created a space and some crafted beer and food we'd like to share because we like making people happy." Yeah, I said it. Let that sink in. Tell me about another place in 2025 that leaves you with that feeling when you get to your car to leave (reluctantly).

Plenty of tvs to watch the games!

Get the Caribbean jerk wings and the straight and narrow beer! The atmosphere is a local community hang out with tons of outdoor space and different spaces to sit inside depending on your group and mood. Amazing beer and food. We love the wings and pizzas but everything on the menu is great. Always super friendly workers.

We were staying down the street from our air b&b when we were in town. We were shocked at how large it was!! They have a ginormous super nice patio with tons of seating. The inside is also large with a bar area and a more dining type area. They also offer food but we didn't have any on this visit. We ordered a couple of flights so that we could try everything. The beers were better than expected...I'm a beer snob so I was honestly pleasantly surprised. My favorite was a banana passionfruit gose called Currruba! Go have a beer and check out the patio if you're in the area!

Great establishment with a wonderful selection. I did not have the food but it looked delicious coming out of the kitchen. The staff was very hospitable and quick with service. Highly recommend making a stop in!

Love it! Great outdoor area. The dog loved it! The beer is awesome, with a ton of selections to choose from - both in house and guest brews. The service was spot on. Couldn't have been better!

My 2nd time here. A fantastic place with friendly people who make you feel appreciated for being there. Ambiance is awesome. Everyone is helpful, there's both indoor and outdoor seating, with Bingo going tonight. Ordered a Rueben....amazing! Their Porter and Stout are both phenomenal! I will be back.

Love these guys! I live close, but not close enough to come by as often as I wish I could. They have a rotating list of mostly great beers & several fellow Tennessee brewery options. I only say mostly, because everyone has their own taste in beers & they cover all the bases here. In true microbrewery fashion there's usually one or two that are new when I come by every couple months. They also have a limited, but very tasty menu. As far as ambiance, they have that NAILED! They have indoor & outdoor seating. Indoor & outdoor stages & are (outdoor) dog friendly. Most of the music is free & they have all kinds of community events. Super friendly! My favorite microbrewery in Tennessee

We stopped in on a Friday afternoon and had pints of the Special Kind of Evil, a hoppy IPA style pour and the All Hallows Ale, a riff on a porter. Porters aren't my thing but this was really good with all sorts of spice - cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, etc. The IPA was a nice balance between a regular one on the hoppy side and a more Imperial style - ABV landed between 6 and 7%. The atmosphere here is just something special - it reminds me more of an English pub, where friends hang out together every day to catch up and fraternize with their neighbors. And the service is both knowledgeable and generally friendly, emphasis on genuine. Oh and their merch! Not your normal merch! A lot of it is handcrafted - really nicely done leather items, hand crafted. I really wish I could pick this place up and take it home with me to Ohio! Very unique and look forward to a return visit on our next trip to Tennessee. As the sign says: "Brewed Free of the Tyranny of Stylistic Oppression" Live on Calfkiller! Added bonus for house brewed beer. Found the kolsch a tasty lunch treat. Warmish inside, and hot outside, sadly the views that day were shrouded in haze. The food, seating environment and view (or course) are really good. Pricing is on the higher end but fair for what you get. So 3 stars for that. The staff that greets and seats you--as well as our waitress--was unfriendly bordering on rude. Just weird. Our local friends state that there are a lot of out-of-state residents living nearby (especially California expats) and they're not well liked. That may be the case, but it appeared that everyone was treated shabbily. Kinda sours the experience. Lastly, there were a lot of flies. I counted 10 at one time near the entrance, kitchen and booth seating. You can see a few on the photo I attached. That really hurts the dining experience. This is a one and done for us.

Me and a few buddies drove a couple hours to get to the disc golf park and my one buddy showed up early (10:15a ish). (Website says 8a-sunset) The guy said he was the only one there and he couldn't be bothered to sit outside while we played disc golf. Ummmm what? We don't need you to sit outside or babysit us? What is it that you think we're going to do that you need to watch us play disc golf? I will NEVER go there again. Mind you, I did call and was told it would be open. Then I called a couple days before and of course, no answer. Highly do NOT recommend traveling a good distance to go there. Parking in their main lot is pretty tight, but we didn't have much trouble finding street parking close by. The absolute standout here is the staff; they were incredibly friendly and completely johnny on the spot with getting our drinks out. We had our dog with us and quickly learned that pets aren't allowed inside or even on the regular inside patio, but they do have a small dedicated picnic table area out to the left for people with dogs. The staff was even nice enough to bring out a water dish for him, which was a really great touch. As for the food, you definitely get a plentiful amount for what you pay. We ordered the sampler platter--which comes with a massive pretzel, three little brats on buns, and kraut balls--as well as the Jager Schnitzel with sides of potato salad and spaetzle. The pretzel platter and the spaetzle were good, and the whole place has an awesome atmosphere that makes you want to hang out. I'd still absolutely recommend checking it out, just keep an eye on a couple of the food details. Cons: The jager dressing wasn't heated up enough, causing it to congeal on top of the pork loin and throw off the flavor, so it had to be scraped off. Also, the potato salad missed the mark completely--the potatoes were vastly undercooked, giving them a raw texture, and they were a dark color instead of a normal opaque white, showing that the potatoes used were going bad. Thumbs up / Thumbs down: Thumbs up (I would still go back for the great atmosphere and service).
