Victory Vision vegetarian pizza (ordered without pineapple and mushroom)
    John S.

We started with an order of cheese bread, which was good but a little too thin and dry for my taste. However, the side of marinara dipping sauce helped amp up the flavor. My pizza, on the other hand, was amazing. I ordered the "Victory Vision" vegetarian pizza. It came loaded with a generous layer of cheese topped with tomatoes, onions, green bell peppers, black olives, pineapple chunks and mushrooms. I left off the pineapple and mushrooms. The crust was thin, crispy and buttery. The toppings extended nearly to the edge which meant almost every bite was packed with toppings. For a 9" personal pizza, this pizza was huge. I didn't have a tape measure with me, but it had to be larger than the listed size. But as delicious as it was, I had no problem finishing the entire pizza. I liked the restaurant's laid-back atmosphere. The service was terrific. And the beer selection is great. Overall, we had a great time and I hope I can go back soon.

Stopped in figured we try the pizza on a Sunday afternoon. The folk were friendly and the pizza was good. For a small town it's good pizza and the service was spectacular. Probably would of have 5 stars but they were out of sweet tea !!

I love being the 1st! Pop it... I love this place! The place is on the smaller side so I can see it getting crowded on the peek times. Tables are big and nice though. Hanna is awesome. She was the server for the night. Super friendly and attentive. Loved her personality with the customers. They are a pizza place so only pizza, no salads, pastas, etc... who doesn't like dessert? Yes they do have that!!! It's a big 12" one but they made a smaller version for us (not a thing they do). They are building a nice patio on the back of the building and making a stage to have more fun and space during the warmer weather. I'm sure they could add heaters for the winter if possible too, but it's not ready yet so there is no set up yet, ha. They do offer live music inside but you should call to check times and dates, it vary. The pizza is delicious, not greasy at all which is always a plus! They use fresh ingredients and they are not shy or skimpy about sharing them. They have build your own and they have their signature creations. We ordered the vegetables and added pepperoni, amazing! The tomato sauce was perfect between sweet and salty. We were told the white garlic sauce was delicious too so I will definitely try it next time. The dough is not the oven sicilian style but is soft and crispy at the right places. They have beers on draft and offer cans and bottles too. I didn't see any wells or wine menu but I wasn't looking for it either so not certainly sure if they offer other alcoholic drinks besides beer. The drive was incredible beautiful once you got out of the highway (the highway was pretty too but the inside is much better) you could see clear and smell the fresh air. The weather was delicious too. The town itself is really cool and it has kept a lot of the 1800s feel with the preservation of the buildings. Definitely come and check them out.

Terrible cardboard pizza. You know pizza is bad when you swim all day, are starving, and no one eats a 2nd piece.

I stop everytime I head down south from Nashville, usually working in the side room for half the day so I can avoid rush hour in Nashville. From a beer standpoint, this is one of the top breweries in Tennessee. They are well known nationally, as well. The building is a warehouse looking structure on the outside, but they have nicely decorated the tap room. Ample seating both inside and out and they have bands on some weekends. I have tried the flatbreads, a couple of sandwiches, and the Dinosaur wings (only kidding, but they are the largest chicken wings they can buy, so ample sized). I prefer the wings most of the time - except their rendition of Nashville Hot - but this time opted for a meatball sandwich. If you are trying to be an Italian food afficianado, this might not be in, but the sauce works well with these meatballs and there is ample cheese. As one normally focusing on Keto, adding a fork meant I could eat the kibbles and bits and leave the bun. Two thumbs up. As for the beer, they have some of the best IPAs and I finally tried the porter this go around. Many of their beers are rated above 4.0 on untappd and it is not just a local bump kind of thing. The brewery, as a whole, is 3.92 and also well deserved. To my normal "Will I be back" question, I think the answer is already clear. I do return almost every time I pass by.

The online menu is not current with regard to not only price but even food selections. What I had planned on ordering was no longer offered. I ended up ordering the fried chicken salad with blue cheese dressing asking for no onions. Waitress returned to tell me and several others at the table that they were out of chicken tenders, hence no fried chicken salad. I upgraded to the steak salad. I'm guessing the few pieces of grizzle a top the lettuce was what was being referred to as steak. Also on the salad were the onions I asked not be included. Two packets of ranch dressing were tossed on top of the salad, not even the blue cheese I had asked for. My wife ordered the 12 inch pizza, as did several others who were part of the group. No one told us at time of ordering that they can cook ONLY ONE pizza at a time and each pizza takes 20 minutes. Indeed, one pizza at a time was brought out to our group spaced 20-25 minutes apart. My wife finally received her pizza well after everyone else had finished eating. Roughly 90 minutes after having placed her order. To add insult, each and every one of the pizzas was burnt on the bottom. About halfway through our meal a guitar playing entertainer arrived. As much as we did not need him telling us of his dire financial situation and how much he'd appreciate money in his tip jar or contributions via the QR code he had displayed, we certainly didn't need to hear his views on current social issues. The worst of it all was how loud he played. It was impossible to hold a conversation across the table. Forgot about speaking to someone at the other end of our group. We can't imagine a reason to ever return to Mickey's Garage.
