Bartender is a b--t*h! We waited at bar because no one was behind bar for a while. When she came back, she acted like she was superior and too busy to wait on us. Huffy. Blone hair wirh PURPLE, I simply walked in, asked for light local craft beet and she said "we don't have any". I said it's our first time here and we like the environment. She kept acting like she is soooooooo busy but she has time to eat french fries and flirt with the guy st the end of the bar. #SadLocalGirl read more

If you're in the area, don't miss this awesome brewery! It is a fun, relaxed hangout with ample indoor seating and a chill patio area with a fire pit. It seems like they have lots of entertainment throughout the week including trivia and live music. We visited on a Sunday afternoon when they were having trivia and a darts tournament. Wise Ass Trivia was great! They had five house brews on tap and an impressive selection of regional craft bottles for a smaller brewery. We really enjoyed the two house brews we ordered: Tropical Storm Hefeweizen and Montgomery Belgian. We also ordered food from Trailhead Grub, located inside the brewery: an appetizer sampler with cheese curds, fried pretzel bites, and tator kegs; a bacon cheeseburger with fries; and a chicken salad wrap with broccoli salad. It was all delicious and we were stuffed. We will definitely be visiting again when we are back in town! read more

Sweet hometown find. Great local atmosphere that makes you feel welcome. Even a selection of games and books from Tennessee and brewing. The food is ordered to the right and the person who took our order at the walk up window was friendly and helpful. The menu was not huge, but there's nothing I didn't want to try! The burgers were delicious, good onion rings and good broccoli salad. My husband is a chili snob, and really liked his cup of chili. The cook gave us a number and found us on the brewery side of the house when our food was ready. We also had great service to the left in the brewery side of the house, friendly and informative. My husband tried the home brewed stout and was pleased. read more

Really enjoyed stopping in here and checking out this spot. Anytime we travel to a different town I like to see if there is a brewery to check out, thankfully we chose Happy Trails Brewing ... these guys are doing a great job. Plenty of draft selections to choose between different styles of beer....so you should be set regardless of what your favorite kind is. My wife had a sour (to my surprise it was really good - not so much on the sour) and I went with a cider. If they don't have anything that strikes your mood they do have a nice selection in cans/bottles that are pretty unique - not your typical big name beer companies and their offerings. They have also partnered up with Trailhead Grub & Smoothies (in the same building) to provide a selection of foods (Really good!). Also, they have a great outdoor area (behind the building) so if they are packed there should be enough space outside for just about any number of people. If you're in the area check these guys out! read more

I stopped here after dinner at Foglight Foodhouse and man, was it fun! There was musical bingo happening and it was a blast! Flights were very reasonably priced and I tried many tasty flavors. I love the story of how the brewery got started and am glad to support when I make it back out that way again. read more

Happy Trails is a very fun brewery and a nice addition to Sparta. We visited here back in August and it was great to sit outside and enjoy some good brews in the summer sun. Their own brews were very tasty and I particularly enjoyed the Four Rivers NEIPA. They also have a great selection of local and other craft brews that you can enjoy in house or take to go. The atmosphere is very fun and we particularly enjoyed the outdoors-y decor. The outdoor seating is also plentiful and filled with lawn games, which is very fun. We look forward to coming back again post-COVID so we can enjoy more of the brewery. read more

Fun local haunt but be prepared: When you walk in, you might feel out of place. This is one of those places that stirs up envy within your heart because EVERYONE knows your name (unless you're visiting). We sat on the porch to enjoy our beer and delicious designer grilled cheese, and in the course of the hour, numerous people came out to say hi to Biff, the golden retriever who is also an apparent porch regular. The beer is okay, not great, but I don't regret my choices either. read more

We attended Happy Trails 3 year anniversary last weekend and are in love with the place! They have a very extensive beer/cider menu. I wish I had taken note of all the drinks we tried, as there were several I really loved. They also have the option to order food from a separate business that is on site, and everything we had was really good (though I didn't care much for the jerk sauce on the nachos). It's a great atmosphere! I highly recommend it! read more

Passing through town. just stopped for a beer. Beer good. Good selection. They play poker every Saturday. Did not have food but looked very good. read more

The setup is a little funky. The Restaurant and Brewery are two separate entities within the same building. I am kind of surprised they are still in business with the very awkward entrance, watch your step. It's an ankle twister, fall hazard if your not paying attention and they keep the place dark, so you can't see the floor transition. I've been there 4 times. The food is Good, definitely better than okay. The prices are very reasonable. Kid and dog friendly. I know a lot of people like to sit outside. 4 Stars might be a stretch but it's definitely more than 3. read more

Customer service is the support you offer your customers -- both before and after they buy and use your products or services -- that helps them have an easy and enjoyable experience with you. Offering amazing customer service is important if you want to retain customers and grow your business. I started with the definition of what true customer service is. The reason is so that everyone understands what the following displays: Absolute Poor customer service and products! I went with a group last week to HTBC for something to eat and play Bingo. Strike One: The first thing that stood out was how frustrated and uncaring the cashier was when we attempted to order food. We had to repeat my wife's order several times since the cashier appeared to be distracted by everything except the customer. I then tried to order a sandwich with onion rings. Both my wife and I repeated several times that I did not like any condiments of any kind on my sandwich to include their aioli. Strike Two: When the food was dropped off I immediately noticed that a balsamic vinegar was all over the sandwich. My wife took it up to let them know we had ordered without ANY condiments. The cook refused to take it back and said it was " their signature sandwich". McDonalds, Ruth Chris's steakhouse and Pizza Hut all have signature dishes, yet they prepare it to the customers wishes. Strike Three: Knowing we would be there a while, I simply put the sandwich in a to go box and gave it to someone else in our party to take home. I began to eat the onion rings that were left. They were so overcooked, the onions inside were literally burnt. NEXT INNING. Strike One: Had to wait at the bar for several minutes while the bartender had conversation hour with someone she was quite familiar with. Strike Two: Bingo began with the caller letting everyone know she had been stuck with the duty and it was only her second time performing it. Needless to say that all the games with the exception of the last one were like being at the NYSE hoping you'd catch what she was saying while the TV screen showed something different. Even Senior homes where the average age is well above most businesses can get a bingo game right. There is no Strike three because at this point the entire group decided enough was enough. The events discussed above are in NO way indicative of any kind of customer service. I will not support this business or anything it is associated with again. In addition to this review if asked about this business I would vehemently recommend going anywhere else! read more

The whole experience was great! Helpful staff, clean restaurant, food tasty and beer is cold and well brewed.

What a cool find- great atmosphere and beer options. The bartender didn't seem to be a fan of people but, maybe she was just having a bad day? It's nice when smaller breweries also serve other local options; they had a solid variety. It seems like it a big locals hang out. They back patio is simply wonderful, and a great place to hang out on a sunny day. read more
