I often frequent this location during lunch breaks at work. I hate to complain being that I was in the restaurant industry for 5 years, but the service here is absolutely awful. While it is not busy at all during my time there, it takes a long time to be greeted by my server and a long time for me to receive my food. I can't even pinpoint this to a particular server as this happens with every server that has ever waited on me. I have given this restaurant a chance, but after my visit today I am going to go elsewhere during breaks. I return late to my desk every time I eat here and I am right down the road. read more

Big Baz, Queensland, Aus Hi all, Barry from Australia here, we stayed in the hotel next door to Ruby Tuesday and did a trade show at the Convention Centre for 10 days and ate at Rubies every night. Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was good. We worked our way through the menu over 10 days and were always pleased with our meals. Ate at the bar a bit as I got addicted to the long island tea's, boy what a hangover cruncher they are, but bloody nice. We had a group of four and found the price and quality of food very realistic, you are not eating in a five star restuarant here it is a cosy kumpy burger joint with a salad bar folks, so enjoy what you have because as far as we aussie;s were concerned it was a great place to be for a bit of fun. To be honest I was shocked and appalled the second I walked in the door today. Around 4 PM. My two year old son began coughing and as I bent down to tell him to cover his mouth, the hostess felt it was her business to chime in and also tell him to cover his mouth. I was too surprised to say anything. He is a tiny toddler. To top it off she then called him a girl as she sat us. I was so upset it ruined the meal and I would have left had I not promised him food. I stopped here on the way home from Pennsylvania with my wife and daughter this evening, as we were getting hungry and needed something soon and this was the only choice we saw in an area of NJ that we aren't familiar with. I have not been to a Ruby Tuesday in about 20 years and if this location is any reflection of what I've been missing then I'm glad I haven't. The food came out quite fast, which is nice. They gave my daughter crayons, and that's nice too. Nice ends there. I ordered the chicken avocado sandwich. As I went to take a bite into it, my nose caught an odd off putting smell, almost as if it was cooked in an unclean bathroom. I dissected the sandwich to find the culprit, and it was the bread. Th chicken was very very salty and otherwise flavorless and quite rubbery. My wife ordered a pasta dish with chicken in hoping that my daughter would eat it instead of the Chuck E Cheese-request pizza that she got from the kids menu. Ultimately, my wife found it inedible and would not let my daughter have it either. I can eat anywhere, or at least I thought I could. Even at the worst of places I have found something I can tolerate. This food was truly awful. My suggestion is to keep driving if you're in the area. read more

Went to Ruby Tuesday's with friends Saturday night because all of the other chain restaurants in the immediate area had over an hour wait. I figured Fridays, Ruby Tuesdays, Applebees, they are all pretty much the same. The night started out pretty good. Our waiter was polite and attentive which is what you usually want from your wait staff, but when it was time for dinner to come out, boy that's when the night went downhill. There were eight of us who ordered yet only six people had their dinners. The other two were left staring at everyone else's food. It was a full twenty minutes before we finally got the waiter's attention to remind him about the two orders that were forgotten. When we told him he seemed surprised. Did he not notice that two of his customers were the only ones not eating? He then hurried to the kitchen only to return 15 minutes later with the news that someone else had mistakenly taken the two orders but with the promise that the orders would be right out. After another twenty minutes when everyone was practically finished with their meals the two orders finally came out. The steak was overdone like a hockey puck and the spaghetti squash was bland and quite awful. The waiter did compensate us with free dessert but the damage was already done. To keep up with the heavy competition in the area Ruby Tuesdays really needs to add some more flavorful items to their menu and retrain their wait staff. read more

Ordered a peppercorn steak and asked for medium. The steak comes and looks like a dog chewed it up. The Asiago cheese sauce was oily, and the mashed potatoes and green beans were just dumped on the plate. I did not eat the meal and sent it back, asking for just a cheeseburger. Sticky tabletop warning! Why can't these places get the tables clean? Always smeary and sticky. I came here cause my hotel restaurant didnt open until 5 and i had skipped lunch and was hungry. Beer cold. Orange slice in my beer was warm, didn't seem fresh. Salad bar lots of fruit flies. Table air space, fruit flies. I commented to the waitress, Amanda, I think., she agreed says they come for the fruit. So it followed my beer? Only fruit in the area of the table. Appetizers are all to share. I was a party of one. So no appetizer for me. Food was okay. Got the little steak. Nothing complicated. Desserts all gross sounding. How about some healthy choices! All heavy cakes, brownies, etc. I would have loved a sorbet or some, dare I say it, fruit, minus the flies. read more

Traveling with my daughter's softball team, we decided to head over to this restaurant as it was right across from our hotel. It was a wednesday night and the place was somewhat empty. The manager was rude and unaccommodating to our group of 30. Not a great experience. read more

We stopped here on a long road trip as it was the only place we could find to sit and get table service in the area. My father and I had shrimp, and my husband had fried chicken. My father's shrimp platter was fried to a crisp and the chips were both dry and limp. After one or two shrimps, he did not want any more and lost his appetite. I tasted one and agreed that they were tasteless and dry. My Asian style shrimps had a strange unidentifiable sauce which was soapy and greasy at the same time, and I only ate half of the very small bowl, because I was starting to feel quite unwell. Both of us had the impression they had been deep fried, for too long, from frozen and the centres were not properly cooked. Dad and I felt unwell for the rest of the journey and I was concerned I was going to get full-blown food poisoning although my stomach pains and dizziness came to nothing in the end. I am writing this view partly because I hope the managers see this and investigate what is going on in the kitchen. Having lived in the US for only 4 months, this is the worst food I've had anywhere and think there must be something profoundly wrong in the kitchen or with the ingredients. My husband's chicken was OK. The service was alright too, so it wasn't a completely negative experience! (we visited for lunch on 30th November 2015). read more

Service was great, very kind and attentive. Ordered the double decker chicken with Mac n cheese and a cheese burger medium well. Both were excellent, chicken was juicy and delicious just like the burger. Salad bar was fresh and had clean plates. Recommend and will return when in the area. read more

Stayed next door to this restaurant, so my food choices was limited. Since my flight landed late, I decided to grab some dinner. Walking into this place, it had a weird oil stench. No sure what it is, but once you pass the door that attaches to the Marriott hotel and salad bar, you were good. Chose the chicken BLT, why? Because it was parmesan crusted and I love parmesan. BAD mistake! First off the sandwich smelled like old seafood oil. I thought it was something with the parmesan, but it was not. I think they deep fried the chicken in old oil. I couldn't eat the sandwich, a few bites and I was done! The fries were just as bad, old, limp and not fresh. Second day around, I decided to try a different dish. This time I had the buffalo wings and quesadilla. Not bad, the typical Buffalo wings sauce. The quesadilla was tasty with enough strips of chicken to satisfy your appetite. You get two tortilla wrapped chicken with cheese, green peppers and onions. I liked them and would order again. Next day I tried the po'boy flatbread and liked it too. It came with shrimp, sausage, parmesan, and cheese. Nicely flavored. Another dish I would try again. I paired this all with a blue moon. I also ordered the chicken tenders, Buffalo style. They would have been better without the sauce, because the sauce was overwhelming! Too salty for the tenders. I should have gone with the classic tenders.. No sauce. Clean, nice bar section. Unlimited salad bar. The newest dish I had today was delicious! The Kale Casear Salmon Salad, rocks! My fav! Salmon properly seasoned and the salmon kale casear baguette.... Awesome idea! A wonderful surprise - The salad in the baguette. I hope this is a new staple in the menu. I'll be a repeat offender for awhile before I move to the next dish, LOL. read more

This has to be the absolute worst ruby Tuesday's I have ever been to. The management did a piss poor job of training their server, because they're lethargic, rude and disrespectful. My drinks never got refilled and the salad bar was old and withered. The dressings were obviously watered down, and would only please the appetite of a dog. The entrees. Don't. Even. Get. Me. Started. I ordered a steak that tasted like rawhide and (I Guess?) a 1 week old potato that had been microwaved on full blast for what seemed like an eternity. They don't have any thought of their customers and "cook" as well as I'd expect a toddler too. Just stay away, and if you're staying at the hotel... I'm sorry that this sorry excuse of a restaurant is what such a reputable company, I.e. The Marriott, would chose to associate themselves with. ruby Tuesday used to be my favorite restaurant but ever since they made a change to their salad bar and food it is no longer my favorite. The salad bar has less options and the lettuce tastes dirty. It isn't very good. No one wants to eat dirty lettuce. It tasted disgusting! They said that the salad bar is improved and better but it is the exact opposite. I miss the old ruby Tuesday. read more

I used to love Ruby Tuesday's and I came here a few times when I worked in the area. It's been a little over a year since I've been to this Ruby Tuesday and this place has really gone down hill. The salad bar used to have quite a bit of a selection. Now it is just the bare minimum with only iceberg lettuce.and a few toppings. I used to love the mini turkey burgers with fries and the salad bar. It used to have lettuce, tomato, and a pickle. Now it is just the pickle and the turkey burger was so salty. I ordered one for my two year old daughter from the kids menu and I couldn't let her eat it since too much salt isn't good for kids. They used to give you a bottle of ketchup and now they only give you little packets for your fries. My husband ordered the fish tacos and it didn't taste good either and it didn't come with anything. The blinds on the windows were so dusty. You can see about an inch of dust on them and my daughter was touching them since we were seated next to the window. We will probably never patronize this place again and I hope the other Ruby Tuesday's aren't as bad as this one. read more

We went to a late dinner after a long day. Walked across the road from hotel so it was very convenient. The service was great, salad bar was very fresh, tv playing hockey game in bar. One of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. The food was cold when I got it, service was absolutely pitiful and you could taste the "tap" in the water. I didn't get my drink until I finished my meal. Also I ordered the bacon cheese burger and it was one of the greasiest most appalling burgers I have ever eaten. I wouldn't ever come back to this establishment and for this being my first time ever going to a Ruby Tuesday I would say I'm never going back. read more

I am at Ruby Tuesday and the hostess treated me like she had better things to do, the only words she said to me was "hang on" while she rolled her eyes at me after I said "table for one, please" Not even a "follow me" when she rallied a table, I just assumed she was seating me, she put the menu down on a table and walked off without a peep. The waitress got me a drink and took my order in a timely manner so maybe their is hope to save this two star rating... I really wanted to just get up go somewhere but this place is attached to my hotel, and my business partner has the car #firstworldprobs. Okay so the food at first glance, the steak looks good and cooked the way I like it, the "loaded" baked potato however is lacking in the cheese department, big time butter and sour cream ar on the side and the amount of bacon is okay so I'll let it slide. The waitress brought me a puny side of A1 and I told her "I am gonna need more than this" but to take her time, she came back and wasn't messing around, I think I have all the A1 I'll need, this review might just break three stars. Taste? Lets find out. So the baked potato, well it was a baked potato... nothing ground breaking there. The steak was actually pretty good and cooked perfect so bravo to the grill wiz back there. The quality seemed to be on par with the price. Overall not bad if you don't mind being treated like a homeless person who found 20$ when you as for a table by the hostess with the giant braided bun. If I could give this no stars I would! I'm staying at courtyard and was delighted to have another option than the lackluster Bistro, WRONG! No one at the podium, went into the bar at 3:30 mind you, and was filthy. I sat at a table that was the least dirtiest. Turns out all the staff are sitting at the booth behind me the bartender is taking care of the entire bar and booths. Had to ask to have table cleaned, no straw in drink, got meal of mini buffalo chicken sandwiches, which consisted of slider bun and 1 chicken tender, the quantity of 2 plus fries for 10.99. The Bayou twister drink was gross, like a melted slushy with a little bit of booze, mostly syrup. Once the staff left the table behind me they were drinking from the frozen daiquiri machine, looking through a GQ magazine and continuing the conversation of cheating in relationships. I also ordered to go for my colleague: buffalo chicken tenders (there were 4 tiny pieces of chicken that were not what was in my mini and salty gross), and chicken bella also super salty and inedible. read more
