One of my favourite take away places for halal food... There portions are huge , super filling and scrumptious... They have a wide variety of platters , burgers, sandwiches. The menu is pretty elaborated and has ample selections for large groups , families and friends and customised options for small portions as well as.. We ordered Lamb Gyro platter Kebab platter Fish gyro platter Chicken Gyro platter Had best Chicken Gyro Platter n -Slices of spiced chicken cooked on a spit, served with rice it was super delicious Chicken Gyro Sandwich A sandwich made with slices of spiced chicken cooked on a spit, served with salad in pita bread.. Must have ... will order more Please do give it try and I promise you won't regret it.. It's absolutely worth trying

Very tasty middle eastern food that is not greasy yet the meat is tender and fresh. We fed 6 adults and 3 kids with leftovers to spare by getting a chicken gyro platter, lamb gyro platter and a family kebab combo platter. The price was great and everything was delicious. The sauces are great too. The white sauce and the spicy red sauce allowed for delicious customizations. My favorite was probably the kebab platter as it was spicy, juicy and had a hint of charcoal flavor. The workers are very friendly people too.

Ive been here a few times and they were still good. Now theyre just plain Rude. These guys let me wait 10 min on line. I was the only one on the restaurant. I got there around 1145am. Let me wait till 1155. The customer on the phone had alot of orders but the worker couldnt even tell me sorry for the wait. All he sqw was $$$$ from the other customer. Took this guy who look like he doesn't even work there another 5 min to answer another phone call before helping me out. I couldnt believe it They never apologized for the wait. Terrible customer service. Now that they are more popular, they don't care about you anymore. No etiquette at all. Terrible. The guy behind the register needs alot of work. The food is just mediocre in my opinion. I just needed a quick bite and it ended up having me lost 15 min of my life i will never get back. They're lucky they're the only afghan place in the area. I would rather go to Efes or Sahara or even Mamouns down the street in New Burnswick. You get much better staffing and great quality food. And they're quick. Like I said the guy behind the register look like he just woke out of bed.

We were invited to this restaurant. Our friend mentioned that he would order for us and that it is made fresh. It will take 45 min from order to table. Since our friend lived closer to the restaurant he would order. When we arrived at the restaurant we waited for less than 10 min. The portions are huge and the food is fresh and tasty. We also ordered dessert. Rice pudding and baklava. Delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Fish Tikka kabob

I thought the food here was really delicious. I got fish tikka. The rice was oily but very flavorful and it had some raisins and sweet carrots in it. I did not mind it being oily. The fish was not oily and was cooked perfectly. It was soft and melted in my mouth, but crispy on the outside. It was spiced well. Overall, I really liked the food and it seemed pretty authentic.

Fried chicken, still bloody.

The ambiance is very pleasing and it is also an ideal spot for a date night. Chicken Satay: The grilled chicken skewers came with a cup of peanut dipping sauce. I had a gut instinct that I was going to g to enjoy peanut butter flavored sauce with the chicken because I previously explored a similar chicken entrée at another restaurant. The chicken was tender and juicy. Although I really enjoyed this plate, I would have preferred to have it without the skewers because I don't feel they are necessary. Pineapple Fried Rice: This rice plate was so fulfilling it practically ate like a meal. It included nuts, mixed vegetables, and mini tofu squares. It was well seasoned with the perfect amount of heat. Although I chose "medium" heat, it was still very spicy. For this reason, I am reluctant to make it any spicier. I was more than satisfied and in looking forward to exploring more dishes. #nthaipalace #pineapplefriedrice #chickensatay #thaicuisine #njthaicuisine #somersetnj

| Deeply Disappointed -- What Happened to Baithakh?…read more Baithakh used to be one of our favorite go-to spots in North Brunswick. We've always enjoyed the food, but unfortunately, something has definitely changed since our last visit -- and not for the better. We ordered several dishes, including the Baithakh Seekh Kebab Roll, Crispy Fried Chicken Burger, Beef Paya, Beef Nihari, Peshawari Mutton Karahi, and Chicken Malai Boti. To our surprise, nearly everything was a letdown. The Beef Paya and Peshawari Mutton Karahi were both swimming in oil and severely lacked flavor, which was shocking considering how good they used to be. The Fried Chicken Burger had decent seasoning, but the chicken itself was tough and rubbery -- almost inedible. The Chicken Malai Boti was okay, but even that wasn't as tender or flavorful as we've had here before. Maybe they've changed chefs or recipes, but the quality just isn't the same anymore. Baithakh had never failed us before, but this visit was a major disappointment. Sadly, we're giving it a 2 out of 5 stars. We hope they find their way back to the standard that once made them great.

Prepare to have the spice of your life! The samosa is a fantastic starter. It's filled with chicken and many secret ingredients. The garlic naan is great for dipping in the chicken tikka masala butter sauce. Although most of the chicken chunks are drowned in the butter sauce, there's still plenty to serve 1-2 people. Thr tandoori chicken goes well with mint cilantro chutney sauce. This green sauce may have an awkward color, but it gives the perfect kick to this bone- in chicken plate. It was Saturday lunch time and they had buffet going on - and the selection was pretty good. I confirmed with the nice owner that none of the dishes had tree nuts except almond in the dessert and we got to eating. Couple highlights include: Vegetable Pakora - crispy and full of good veggie bites, it was not too greasy and my son was fascinated by how delicious it was to eat. Tandoori Chicken - This was surprising because most places the tandoori chicken is a bit dry, but this one was flavorful and succulent. Their garlic nans, which we ordered separately, were fluffy, chewy, flavorful and just a joy to eat all of the food with - we enjoyed their various veggie dishes with the nans and washed it all down with their almond dessert, which my son had a sip or two and did not have any allergic reactions. The price was a bit steeper than I expected (I did not check price carefully), so most likely won't be coming regularly, but it's a great choice when you really want to eat-eat, esp. with a hungry teenager. We'll be back again.

My personal favorite is the Spicy Miso Ramen; it's the perfect balance of richness and heat, accompanied by incredibly tender pieces of slow-braised pork belly. I also love that you can fully customize your bowl with different toppings to make it exactly to your taste. You also cannot skip their appetizers. This time we ordered the Rock Shrimp Tempura, which was fried to perfection without overcooking the shrimp, and the sauces were the perfect addition. You also need to try their Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, the Bao Buns, and my absolute favorite: the Ika Geso Karaage, which comes with the most delicious mayo dipping sauce. They have a solid food menu alongside classic coffee and tea selections. While they offer fun specialty coffees and refreshers, my favorite part was their seasonal menu. This time around, I tried a bit of everything. I ordered the raspberry almond shortcake matcha as well as the sticky toffee pudding latte from their winter menu, and then added the Spanish latte from their specialty lineup! Of course, we needed even more, so after being stuck between the smoked salmon toast and the hummus toast, I opted for the latter. I was so happy with my choice! It was a light, refreshing homemade hummus topped with a Mediterranean salad of cucumber, onion, and tomato. The balance between the cheese, the creamy hummus, and the crisp salad was amazing.
