Where im from Rubys are all extinct so when i was looking for lunch driving through SD i slammed the brakes when i saw an open Rubys! Haha. I loved their salad bar so i had to pop in to see how it was. I got chicken tenders and fries for 15$ then added on the salad bar for $6. The salad bar couldve been better as the cucumbers were a literally soggy pile of mush. I almost mentioned them to the gm/manager as we randomly talked about wrestling but i bit my tongue. Honestly cukes are my favorite part of the salad bar but i just skipped them. The broccoli slaw Rubys still makes was subpar as well. The broccoli had pieces that looked overripe and borderline mushy mixed in with acceptable florets. Overall the salad bar was a 3.5/5 and slightly disappointing. My bartender kept the cola coming and was personable. The chicken tenders were delish and the fries were perfectly crisp and seasoned. I would definitely revisit but if those cukes and broccoli slaw arent improved i might have to mention them. They should be enbarrassed to serve see through liquidy cucumbers in their salad bar.

Always a great salad bar. Ribs are good also. Prices are high, just like other places. No issues here, very clean and service was great. See us on our YouTube channel Coolest Life.

Chicken sandwich with "loaded" tots. Ha nothing loaded about these tots!

In from out of town and I was excited to see a Ruby Tuesday. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. I ordered pick up for a specific time, arrived at that time but still had to wait 10 minutes. I can live with that but the food was the big disappointment. The "loaded tots were a joke with almost no cheese on them and what was there was not melted. The chicken sandwich was average at best. Not sure why I had to wait as my food was lukewarm and seemed like it had been sitting in the back. Guess I know why there are none left where I live. Bummer I was looking forward to this!

The food was great and was served quickly, the servers were all friendly and the atmosphere was very calm and ambient. The only little gripe I have is the light fixtures should be cleaned they were dusty and had cobwebs on them over our table. Otherwise love the place.

Really happy we stopped for lunch. Our server Chris was excellent. He was courteous, knowledgeable of the menu, he checked on us throughout the meal. My husband and I split the Chicken Parmesan & Coconut Shrimp (we both had small appetites) Chris recommended it and it was delicious. He also offered a couple other options to make sure we would be full & satisfied. We were!! Even though they were packed the food came out quickly. The restaurant itself is clean and tidy. All the workers smiled and acknowledged us as we walked past them. Would definitely recommend this restaurant if you're looking for great food, A nice selection of entrees, good size portions at a great price. Spoke with the manager and he was awesome and takes great pride in his employees. Overall a fantastic experience

    Deconstructed kabob was delicious!

Service was fast and friendly! The atmosphere was calm and quiet at about 3:30 in the afternoon. The food was very good! The price was reasonable too!

The conversation.. then they blocked me.

6 PM on Monday night they ran out of steaks. We ended leaving, of course. Won't go there again if they remain open.

We used to frequent this place like weekly, until they took the cottage cheese off the salad bar. Annoyed my hubby so now we don't visit.

I think this must be a family owned place, because at some point, I saw a 13 year old (ish) boy clearing tables and handing out candy at the tables. We were sitting for quite a while before anyone noticed us and brought menus. But once we did get the attention of our waitress, she was very nice. There's a kids menu with the typical offerings. They mostly have the standard beers and a handful of local offerings. I had the hazy pineapple beer, and it was okay. My husband tried a local IPA, and he liked it. I had the fried shrimp and the housemade potato chips. They make their own chips (good, although unevenly salted) and they come with a delicious french onion dip, just like the stuff I remember from childhood. My husband and I couldn't get enough. The menu is otherwise pretty burger-based, but that's fine for a setting like this. They have a pool table that takes quarters. That kept the kids occupied while the adults were able to watch some of the March Madness fun.

I'd argue it's one of the best places in town for a burger--always cooked to perfection, with some unique and creative options on the menu. I highly recommend Thirsty's and always prefer supporting a local business over a food chain.

We started our evening at Sear Steakhouse with some excellent drinks. The thyme mocktail was crisp…read moreand refreshing, and my husband's old-fashioned was fragrant and well-balanced, complete with a perfect bada bing cherry. His only note was a preference for a single large ice cube rather than crushed, but overall the bar clearly knows what it's doing. The appetizers set a great tone. Warm sourdough was fresh and comforting. I enjoyed the bright, crisp house salad, while my husband's pumpkin soup was silky, savory, and perfectly seasonal. We both ordered the 7-ounce filet mignon, and the kitchen truly delivered! His medium-rare was tender and juicy with a beautiful sear, and my medium-well was still succulent--proof of precise cooking. They have an outstanding variety of cool, reasonably priced side dishes. My husband was excited about the Queen's honey carrots which were tender and flavorful (though the honey glaze was very subtle) and the creamy mashed potatoes that are part of the steak dish, were nicely executed. I didn't realize my filet came with mashed potatoes underneath, so I ordered a loaded, baked potato as my side, and ended up with extra potato (which I'm not complaining about whatsoever lol). We also enjoyed the whiskey cream sauce with mushrooms, which added a gentle smoky creamy richness, and the onion soubise, which was pure sweet comfort. Dessert was a highlight, as we celebrated my husband's birthday - we ordered all three featured desserts: The crème brûlée had a perfectly crackled top and smooth vanilla bean custard, the flourless chocolate dessert was deeply rich with espresso notes, and the butter cake was the total star - warm, moist, and decadently buttery. Each dessert was excellent in its own way, but that perfectly sinful butter cake stole the show! The atmosphere was inviting--warm wood tones, comfortable booths, well-balanced lighting, and enough TVs near the bar to keep my sports fan husband happy. Service was friendly and pleasant, though we found ourselves wishing for a bit more attentiveness. With a very quiet dining room, very early in the evening (we had a 4 PM reservation), there were moments when water refills lagged and opportunities for wine suggestions went unoffered (and we were definitely wanting to order some red with our steaks, but gave up because by the time there was an opportunity, we were finished with our steaks). We also briefly looked into the small private dining room on our way through the bar, and while we were greeted politely by one of the employees who was sitting in there, it felt like they missed the perfect opportunity to highlight the space for potential events. That said, nothing detracted significantly from the experience--it was simply a matter of polish. A touch more proactive engagement could elevate an already strong offering into something exceptional. Overall, Sear Steakhouse delivered an enjoyable and memorable evening. The food, drinks, and desserts are clearly strengths, and with just a little added focus on service flow and guest engagement, this restaurant has all the makings of a true standout in Rapid City. We look forward to returning and trying new things!

The first visit was for a work event in the back room (not sure if that made a difference), and it was outstanding. The food was cooked to perfection--my steak literally melted in my mouth, and the sides were hot and delicious. I couldn't stop raving about it afterward. The second visit, after talking it up to my family, was a letdown. They were busy, and maybe that played a role, but it just wasn't the same. My steak was mediocre, and my husband was genuinely confused why I had claimed it was one of the best steaks I'd had in a long time. Unfortunately, when it comes to restaurants, the bad tends to outweigh the good. We haven't been back, and I can't justify the price tag when there are other great steak options in town. I know places can have off days, and maybe that's what happened--but I'm not willing to return to find out.

(Hey, Yelp! This part of SD is in MST, not Central!!!) The hostess said we could site outside by the fireplace but that there was only one waitress for that area. Sadly, the other restaurants in the area were either full or closed on that Wednesday, so we took our chances. Service was slow. The waitress was very nice but overwhelmed. They have a kids menu, which is nice. They have a decent beer list. Lots of local options. I had an okay sour beer from the Sturgis area. The kids loved being able to have frozen mocktails. I tried their reuben. They claimed it's Rapid City's best, but if that's it's best, don't order a reuben in Rapid City. It wasn't awful, but it wasn't great. Just bland. Not enough sauerkraut. The thousand island dressing (served on the side by default) was pretty good but salty. I had a side of broccoli, which I thought was a nice option, but it was bitter and undercooked. My husband had the pork schnitzel meal, which he thought was okay. He liked being able to order mashed potatoes as an option. Thankfully, we sat by the TV, and there was a dog show going on. Seeing all those exotic purebred dogs kept my family distracted while we waited for the food.
