Another chain restaurant that I have decided to review today. Since moving here over a year ago, we have been to Ruby Tuesday at least 4 times. We have never been disappointed in the quality of the food. Lobster, steak, salmon, lobster mac n cheese, mashed cauliflower, and gumbo have all been very good. My wife enjoys the salad bar. Ruby Tuesday is good enough as a chain that we signed up for special event notification, promotions, and discount offers on birthdays and anniversaries. read more

It's overpriced so go with a coupon! Their "sadad bar" is a joke, and every time I've been to it there are items that are gone, fixings all over the place, it's not well kept or replinished, and it's a bitch trying to get to the items on the second row in the back. Worthless! The burgers are good - where is the green chile add on option? I've had steak there and it was okay but nothing to wright home about. Typical chain food basically. Ruby Tuesdays really cares about their guests and employees. The boss which I forgot his name will not tolerate anyone disrespecting his employees or anyone else enjoying their meal or drink. So I will give stars for that. But unfortunately the back of the house is incredibly disgusting. I've worked at a few different restaurants but this restaurant by far was the most filthy I've seen. I went twice in two weeks and the first time with just my 14 yr old son and the second time with my whole family(5 of us) and each time the service was excellent! Audrey was one the the best waitresses I've ever had, thank you! read more

Arrived in town late in the evening after traveling all day. Checked into our hotel and headed to the closest restaurant still open to grab a late dinner. Was pleasantly surprised at how courteous our waitress was so late in the evening! All of our meals were well prepared and our drinks were outstanding and much appreciated! read more

We were so surprised. The steak was fantastic. Cooked medium rare and perfectly. I cut into the meat and she was pink and moist in the middle. Just amazing. I didn't expect such excellent quality. The Spinach Artichoke dip was so delicious and the portion fitted our family of 4. When we ran out of chips, they were able to get us a bit more so that we didn't waste it. At the end, we left a note for the cook for doing such a great job for my bday meal and we left the server a decent tip. :) I definitely recommend and we'll be returning again soon. read more

I went with a group of ten and they set us up at two tall round tables, we literally had to shout across to talk to each other (why not use square tables?) which really ruined the experience of dinning with family. Amongst the group most enjoyed their food very much and our server was awesome. However the baked ravioli came in a small portion (see picture) and it was all a bit pricy. But perhaps I'm still upset I paid for a $15 meal and left hungry, I'm 140lbs doesn't take much to fill me up I even had part of an appetizer. read more

I just literally walked out of a restaurant without eating. Why? You may wonder...it's national cheeseburger day & my husband was going for the free burger with an entree. I got the garden bar as the entree, cool done that many times. First, I had to ask for a plate upon receiving that the garden bar was non-existent. Oh my god i cannot believe this restaurant has survived with such a poor quality of food. I was just amazed by the terrible rib eye and sirloin. Even their shrimp was so so salty. Sometimes it's good and sometimes it is not good. Sometimes the service is great and sometimes it is not. Consistency is not their forte. Don't go to watch football unless you are a cardinals fan. The bartender moved me to another table so I could watch my game then after we got our food he changed the tv to a different game. When confronted he shrugged me off. After laughing about it, his friend came over and drunkenly talked smack to me about how my team sucked. Never going back. Rude bartender and managers that don't care about your experience. Went to lunch today. Took over 20 minutes to take our order then another 45 minutes to get our food. Which arrived cold. When we complained we were informed that they were short staffed and all restaurants in Las Cruces were the same. I eat out most lunches and I know that is far from true. This place hasn't rudest staff I have ever encountered from a restaurant. The manager Renee was rude and did nothing to rectify the situation of them getting my order wrong... blamed me... and then Accused me of trying to bully him into getting free avocado when I already had offered to pay for it... the lady who answered the phone when I called to check on my order was beyond rude as well... The "owner" Johnnie is one of the most disrespectful people I have ever met. They had made mistakes with our Togo order, we were never asked how we would like our cheeseburger cooked, it came out overcooked and dry. I have actually had better food at McDonald's. There was no cheese on our cheeseburgers. I called Corporate at 865-379-5700 option #4 if you need to make a complaint as well. After a month of complaining to Corporate, Johnnie calls us to tell us that we are not welcomed at his restaurant anymore . Instead of apologizing and just saying sorry he says take our business somewhere else. People of Las Cruces please go to Burger Nook or Day's hamburgers where they will probably treat you allot better than these folks will very disappointed with the owner's phone call to us. Oh and he also tells us that he is going to report us the National Restaurant Association for scamming his restaurant and other restaurants all over New Mexico, we called them (505) 343-9848 they said there no such thing? Predictable chain restaurant food. Variety of burgers, a few pasta choices and several tasty apps. The apps might be the best they have going along with the small but well tended salad bar. Nice cocktails, great waitstaff and quick serve times. read more

NOT ALLERGEN FRIENDLY! Normally love this place but the curb side pick up is terrible. I placed an order for their $5 cheeseburger special ordered 4 burgers and 3 were wrong. Called to let them know and they told me it was going to be at least 30 min just to remake my hamburger (only had them remake one because of my daughters food allergy) that I wanted remade. This was an hour ago and I'm still waiting while the other burgers sit here and get cold. This used to be one of my favorite spots, but it has really gone downhill. I've been coming to this location since it opened and have genuinely enjoyed it often until about last year. They used to have sleek, dark, romantic vibes, having the waiters dressed in all black. I kept coming back for the limitless fries, excellent burgers and fruit tea. Sadly, none of that is the case as of late. The new staff wardrobe offsets the atmosphere with hideous bright colored shirts. Water is no longer served in a nice glass, but a cheap plastic mug with a handle. Also, why is there so much BOLOGNA in the salad bar? Who wants to pay top dollar for BOLOGNA? Besides the salad bar, the burgers stopped being served with leaf lettuce on ceramic plates and now come in cheap baskets with shredded lettuce and an overly salted patty. The food is pretty standard for a chain. Sometimes when I close my eyes, I swear I can taste some Applebees and Chilis in their entrees. That is not to say it is bad, it just isn't that great. However, I find their salad bar to be the best salad option in town (Oh Bountiful, how I miss thee). It is basically the only thing I get these days, and it is great! read more

It only has one star because I had to put something. Worst steak ever. Worst salad bar. My ribeye was grey and it looked steamed. My husbands steak had to be sent back as well. On top of that, they didn't even remove my steak from the bill. Horrible management. Manager tried to justify the steak- rudely. I'm yelping because I want to acknowledge the impeccable service by Andres at the bar. I've been here several times and this is the first time we e had him. He was alone at he was HUSTLING. He's a hard working young dude and polite. Somaya was also so noticeable as a very hard working young woman. She didn't have to wait on us nut we still noticed her hustle. She was busy the whole time, always moving always gettin it done. And her hair was completely up, as it should be in the food service industry. read more

The last time I had been to a Ruby Tuesday's was about 6 years ago in Florida. This was my first time eating at one in a long while and I was more than satisfied. Ruby Tuesdays is adequate. Their food has some healthy options like spaghetti squash as a side, and their steak is good, but service can run the gamut from fair to "we are ignoring you." Last time we went there the floor manager was sneering and sarcastic when I complained that no one had come to take our drink order. Their salad bar would be good if it were kept filled but I've seen staff walk by it over and over again without refilling empty sections. Went last night for dinner and to try the new minis. As always the wait staff was attentive and friendly. The new minis... Not impressive at all. After seeing the ad on TV for the new minis I expected a choice of 5. They have three on their menu. I orders the beef and cheese. Expecting bacon and cheddar like the ad on TV showed. I got a half cooked mini burger with what looked to be no cheese and smothered in their "special sauce" which overpowered everything. The food was simple but done absolutely right. The bourbon sauce on the grilled salmon was very good. The shrimp and grits took me back to the Mississippi delta with sausage, mushrooms and six cheese sauce. Great service made it even more enjoyable read more

My wife and I went to this location for dinner. We ordered 2 12 oz. rib eyes medium, baked potato, and the salad bar. Our steaks were delivered to us as we started to eat our salads. By the time we were done with the salad the steaks and potatoes were cold. The steaks were some of the toughest little things I have ever eaten. I am not one to stiff the waitress out of a tip, so the total was $56 for food, and $14 tip. $70 for a poor quality meal. read more

I can always depend on getting something delicious when we go to Ruby Tuesday's. We started with the crab cakes because we moved here from the coast of NC. I am somewhat of of a seafood snob but these crab cakes pass with flying colors. I often just get the salad bar and love it. There are plenty of items to make a fantastic salad. I occasionally get a Ruby Relaxer. It just chills me out. This is a nice medium priced place to eat when Mexican and fast food is not what you want. read more
