Blake's Lotaburger - The lotta burger combo - Burgers Near Me - Las Cruces, New Mexico

I loved this place. It's not a chain. I'm familiar with. We were out of town at the time. I don't know if this is popular in New Mexico, but I didn't notice that they had more than one location. It was a weird combination of In-N-Out and five guys the service was excellent. The ambience was typical fast food sterile environment. The lighting was cold, which made it uninviting. The food was amazing. We had burgers and fries and a milkshake. It was all delicious. Would definitely go back! read more

Update: breakfast is NOT worth it anymore. Super sad. Skinny burritos with barely any chile.

Always quality and always hot but always a little dry , the dining room area is clean and almost forgot they have the best onion rings in town. Service has always been attentive and friendly! Just like one other hamburger chain in my area they never seem very busy! Been a customer since the mid 70's read more

The burger was OK, nothing spectacular. When you ask for a fountain drink, they give you a cup of ice already filled and you fill it yourself with the soda, but the cup has many indentations since it's Styrofoam and the lids don't fit properly. The woman who took my order did not ask if it was to go or if I was going to sit inside to eat it so when it was served to me on a tray, I asked the woman working the fryer at the front counter if I could just get a bag so I could take it to go. She rolled her eyes and had an attitude, grabbed a bag and threw it on the counter Not the best customer service read more

Usually Blakes is really good. But not today. the food was very cold and the hamburger patty was as thin as paper. The only good thing was the drink. Do better Blakes. Because of this experience, I will not go back. I'll go to Whataburger from now on, because I have never experienced this kind of service there. read more

Blake's is to New Mexico what Whataburger is to Texas. The original green chile Lotaburger is a must try for newbies, with all burgers made fresh. My go to is a Lotaburger with cheese and jalapeño, with seasoned fries and a shake. Wait times can be longer during peak times, but well worth the wait. A New Mexico institution that travelers to the state should add to their plans. read more

The girl who checked me out with a bad attitude makes the place lame af, otherwise this could be a 5 star review just ruin it with that bad attitude every damn time. The burgers pretty damn good but they don't have a drive thru so you gotta go in and get bad service in order to get a good burger so that's sad read more

Blake's Lotaburger - Big girl, seemed to act like a manger is rude for no reason, here's the ticket - Burgers Near Me - Las Cruces, New Mexico

$5 for a smaller version of their normal burger. No ice and the bathrooms are lock. YIKES!

My mom always asks when I come to town why she isn't allowed to cook me a bunch of home cooked meals. It is because she doesn't make a burger and fries likes Blake's Lotaburger does. I can't help myself when I come into town to eat one of their delicious Lota Burger New Mexico Style. Their green chile is always flavorful. The food comes out pretty quick given that everything is made when ordered. read more

They have reduced there burger sizes and kept the same prices. It is not worth getting their burger as the price does not match what you're getting. You can get same size of burger for less money at other burger places. read more

Service was pretty damn good the gentleman that took my order this afternoon was EXTREMELY courteous! On to the the important stuff... Food was lackluster. Large fries were small (but they were good)... Burger was over cooked... I didnt order two hockey pucks! I wanted to try Blakes... now I know what it's all about. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend and I won't be back. For $11 I can go to Applebee's and get more food that tastes WAY better. read more

Blake's Lotaburger - Service was pretty damn good! Food was lackluster. - Burgers Near Me - Las Cruces, New Mexico

Wonderful and pleasant customer service! Stella was so friendly. Great value and great burgers and fries.

Disturbingly gross, place is very unclean, hand sanitizers were empty. mens restroom soap empty and broken, meaning workers are not washing their hands. customer service is severely lacking read more

They have recently implemented a phone in automated system; to take your order, sadly it isn't accurate and our orders, always seems to be incorrect and i have to call back, talk to a human, in an attempt to fix the original order. Today, after pickup the to go order; the order was still wrong, still after revising with a call back. This is a case, where computer based voice artificial intelligence automation; actually makes things worse, rather then expediting the orders, causing problems for customers and added stress, for the food prep staff, location management. read more

Not as good as other Blake's I've been to in ABQ. Food or service. Sub-par. Not up to snuff. If this was the first Blake's I tried I wouldn't have gone back. May have turned me off of the chain altogether. Burger wasn't very good, service was brusque at best. read more

The place at this location was disgustingly dirty and just filthy, including the staff's aprons while serving customers at the register. However, I was urged to try the green chili burger. I am glad that I was able to look past that because the simplicity and yet unique taste of my green chili burger was simply amazing. I hope I get the chance to eat another one before I leave Las Cruces. I would even claim--without trying to step on diehard In and Out burger fans--that it beats the In and Out burgers. So only one star deducted for the visual aspect of the restaurant itself and four stars for great prices and the amazing taste. read more

You have to try a Blake's Green Chile burger if you are in New Mexico. The chain was started it Las Cruces and it's a must do when in the area. Great local thing to experience and great customer service. read more

Overall, a decent burger joint with some old fashion burgers. I can't say it was bad since with the right toppings this burger really popped with some spice! I definitely recommend adding the green chilis cause if you didn't it'll pretty much be a basic burger. I ordered the number 1, which came with fries. I would have liked it much better it was fresh cut potatoes. The place itself is very black and white and minimal design. I guess you come and go for what you came for. In the end, a decent quick bite if you really need to. - Enjoy! read more

This place has simple burgers done the New Mexico way. It is definitely fast food. The patty has a good flavor but it reminds me of the McDonalds burger patty flavor. It is really thin. The bread tasted like the buns I get from the frocery store, old, stale, and gets soggy fast. The best part was the seasoned fries. I could have eaten those for days! It is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I found myself going for the fries and being bored with the burger. Unfortunately this is probably the best burger in Las Cruces. read more

Ultra clean restaurant. My chicken on my sandwich looks different and the worker was more than happy to replace with a burger and another sandwich. Was pretty yummy read more

Amazing burgers! Passing through New Mexico you have to try these burgers. Beats whataburger for sure.

Every-time I pass through Las Cruces,NM I stop by Blake's. It's your typical fast food burger. The fries are bomb. The service isn't the best, but I stopped expecting so much from fast food joints. read more

My gosh this was not a good experience. I'm not from the area but this burger flat sucked. The bottom bread was hard as if it was outdated. It was as tough as a bagel. Is this normal ? The rest was a sloppy mess. I dislike Burger King but this place is far below BK. What a mistake this was.... read more

Great burger and fries. The staff was having fun, creating a positive atmosphere. Wait time was short.

Fantastic green chile cheeseburger and chocolate shakes. Too bad we are in Central Texas and just passing through or we would be regulars here! YUMMMMMMMM! read more

I normally love Blakes, but not this one. The place was filthy. There's a sign saying "If the floor isn't clean enough to eat off, neither are the tables.". I guess they were right because neither was clean. The staff didn't seem to understand things like heating the green chile on the grill before putting it on the burger either. To top it off we couldn't get drinks for a while because, while they were told the machine wasn't working, the person who fixes it ignored it until forced to do something by a manager. Oh how the mighty have fallen Blakes. You used to be great. read more

This Blake's wasn't that busy on the Saturday night I visited, the staff was super friendly and got my Green Chile Lottaburger to me quickly. The burger was absolutely delicious, just spicy enough without being overpowering. I always try to make a Blake's stop when I travel through New Mexico, this location will get another visit from me again in the future. read more

We were immediately greeted by an employee sweeping the restaurant. That alone is impressive. It was reassuring to know that employees are kept busy when not cooking or prepping. The tables were cleaned and wiped down. The entire place was clean. This is an older store but very clean. We ordered a burger with seasoned fries and a soda. I ordered a green chili burger and onion rings in place of fries. The burgers came with mustard, pickles, tomato, shredded lettuce. The green chilis made it hot and very yummy! We are in NM, home of the Green Chili so I'd expect nothing less. The onion rings were good. The fries were tasty. I'd come back. read more

When we visit family in LC, we always hit this Lota Burger. One of my favorite burgers. Get it with cheese with some fries and a luscious chocolate shake! Don't count calories at this place. The tables are usually in need of cleaning, but that means people have been eating there, and the cashier isn't very cheery, but hey, when you want a burger, fries and shake, this is the place in Cruces. read more

The service is exceptional and the environment is clean and inviting. The burgers and fries are fresh and delicious!

Feels like I walked in to a funeral here. Everybody is dead..walking around like zombies

Wow. They don't take call in orders after 9? They close at ten. Let me get this straight. They would rather wait till I drive over to them before they start making the burger rather than taking an order right around the 9 hour and having it ready when I get there so they can get home earlier? No wonder this place has terrible reviews. read more

Worse burger I have had. Didn't like the quality, didn't like the flavor, sorry. I had big expectations because my friends recommended this place but it was a waste of money and time. read more

Food is better than In and Out. Classic small burger joint turned state chain. Hot burgers all the time.

Love the double green chile lota burger without the bun. The service is always great, the building is a bit old but it's ok because I always take my order to go. Totally recommend this place for a messy & yummy burger. read more

This place should be featured on "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives." The inside is faded like an old 50's Burger joint, but the food and friendly, smiling service is outstanding! We came just after the dinner rush, so the dining room and condiment station needed a good wiping down, but we will definitely be back! read more
