We used to loved Dennys in Washington state. This is the first time going to one since we moved to New Mexico. I got the Santa Fe Skillet. It literally tasted like it was burnt. There were like no peppers and onions in it. It was super dry. Very disappointing. But the cold brew coffee was great! I had the most fun using the vending machine and winning a rubber duckie. Next time we are going to IHop instead. read more

Lacking on many levels. Been there several times... and it's always the same. Bad service, the food only mediocre, and obviously always understaffed. And to top it off, quite expensive. There are certainly better alternatives in town. read more

Wow, surprised this location is still open. Came in for an early 4 am Christmas Eve meal by myself. I get it, day before a holiday and early, but wow. First off, no one to greet you when you walk in. The cook said I could sit anywhere in a certain area. I did. He came out and gave me a menu and a coffee. Then when the waitress came out, she was like, "oh hey" as if she wasn't told there was a guest. The whole time there, she was more interested in her phone than checking on the guest. My coffee was empty for about half the visit, not once checking on me. Just dropped off food that's was it, never to be seen again until I was ready to pay the check which I had to go to her to do. I ordered the Grand Slam w/ scrambled eggs and cheese. Eggs - barely cooked Sausage - Cold Bacon - Questionably cooked enough. Soft Pancakes - Still batter in the center and around the edges. All in all, what happened to your prices Denny's mixed with the poor customer service. W/ tip Just shy of $40 for me one person. Stand clear of this location. Death Metal Music played by the cook. Anger, stabbyness and tears all in one package. I am wearing noise cancelling earbuds and still feel assaulted. I don't dare ask for it to be turned off because we mustn't upset the cook or who knows what will happen to our food. Great value with their rewards program. Denny's 55+ meals are a deal. Love the wild Alaska salmon with two sides (the whole grain rice is delicious). The green salad has cherry tomatoes, cucumbers and sliced carrots. I always enjoy Denny's. read more

I am still trying to find that really great burger, so today I gave Denny's a go. The restaurant is roomy and handles the crowd well. It is bright and clean with several seating options: booths, a counter, and tables. The music was not loud. Actually, I kind of like the ambiance. The waitress was at my table within a minute or two, but she began our interaction by reading off a list of all the items they were currently out of! Can you say, "management problems." The service overall was not as professional as we would like and in need of an upgrade. The waitress really should not be yelling across tables with diners to communicate with the customers entering the restaurant. But, I will not complain about the service, it was ok. I ordered their double cheeseburger with onion rings. It was prepared and brought to my table in about twelve minutes. The waitress neglected to bring a napkin and silverware, but a minute or two later she did. (I might add that the waitress was not a novice just learning the trade but one of their mainstays.) The onion rings were pretty good and rate about a "B." But the burger, oh that burger! First off, it had no seasoning whatsoever and I had to keep using the salt shaker as I consumed it to make it palatable. The burger was soaking in grease. The lettuce, instead of being fresh and crisp was soft and dripping with grease. (Take notice of the limp, greasy lettuce in the photos) The bottom brioche bun became mushy with grease. The pickles were pale and tasteless. Were they old...date expired??? At the end of the day this was a dining experience I do not want to repeat. Rate the burger a "C-"...that is C minus for below standards. Not good. So, ambiance ok, service needs an upgrade, and food a big disappointment....at least considering the burgers. They really need to get someone back there in the kitchen who knows what he is doing. Overall dining experience is around THREE STARS...and that isn't great for a full serve restaurant. Based on the burger alone I would rate it two stars. Probably will not return. (A few days after I posted this review a couple friends of mine had an early lunch at this Denny's and reported to me that their food was ok but the service was poor. After being seated they were ignored for over ten minutes and finally had to flag down a waitress to get served. After ordering coffee with cream the waitress brought the coffee and cream but no utensils. My friend said, "I guess they expected me to stir my coffee and cream with my finger?" Eventually she retrieved a stir stick type implement from her purse and was able to stir her coffee. So it goes at this Denny's. Can you say, "Management Issues?") read more

One star is generous for the level of service and mismanagement I experienced at this Denny's location. My party and I were initially told that the wait time for a table would be 25 minutes. We decided to wait, and that 25 minutes turned into an hour--no apologies or explanations were offered for this unacceptable delay. Once seated, the ordeal continued. Our food order took an additional 45 minutes to arrive at our table. Again, no concessions or apologies were extended for the inconvenience. We were left ignored and unacknowledged. It's evident that the issue here lies at the managerial level; the lack of organization and customer service is appalling. Immediate action needs to be taken to replace the current manager and reevaluate the staff training process. I expect better from a well-known chain like Denny's and urge corporate to take corrective measures to ensure no other customer has to endure such a frustrating experience. read more

Came in for breakfast 4/5/20205 with my girlfriend, it was already busy but we got seated immediately just to be forgotten about by the bathroom. Sometimes the diner establishments that are open 24/7 just has that quiet atmosphere I am looking for. Their pancakes are always fluffy and delicious and I love getting breakfast for dinner. The staff is always kind and I like how well lite the parking lot is at night. Great place for writing, studying, or gathering with friends. The menu has a wonderful selection from breakfast to salmon and everything is customizable on their menu. Highly recommend this restaurant! read more

I really want to like Dennys. I really do. I keep coming back because there aren't many breakfast places in this area. But they continue to disappoint. This morning they are out of napkins so they are using bathroom paper towels for the cutlery. Disgusting. And, what's basically right across the street? A super Walmart.
