Such a cute place with a good menu. So many options I had a hard time picking what I wanted (which is a good thing). I ended up ordering a the super bowl and the almond joy latte. The super bowl was good even with me taking out the cheese (made it a dairy free option). The almond joy latte was good as well, but not sure it fit my idea of an almond joy flavor. Service was quick being they were busy. One of the servers read my mind about needing a Togo cup for my latte and gave me the cup before I even reached the front to ask for it. Definitely coming back when in the area.

Very busy Sunday morning. We had the breakfast bowl and the cauliflower tacos. Latte with oat milk. Super delicious. Very nice staff despite being slammed. Winner!

Just checked out this cute little coffee shop for the first time! Love the cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and the drink menu is simple but has flavors for people with different tastes. I had the Wild Flower latte, husband tried the Autumn latte and we were both very pleased with the taste. Highly recommend trying it out if you're ever exploring Old Mesilla

Just when I thought this place could not get any better they go ahead and pick one of the best locations in the area. Their menu is one of my favorites because they have the vegetarian options I look for plus they accommodate some dishes to not include meat. It's not like before where you would sit down and then order. Now you have to order and then sit down. Just a quick tip until we are all familiar with the new system. The parking is not the best but nobody cares when walking in Mesilla is a great experience by itself. The employees are always helpful and kind. The menu is simple which is a huge plus. Provecho!

Tucked away in one of the side streets of Mesilla a part of Las Cruces, New Mexico is this wonderful little pocket of liberalism and healthy cooking. The restaurant itself is wonderful with a book rack to borrow or donate books, a menu that is very earth friendly, a staff that is helpful and enthusiastic about the food they serve and a variety of flavors and drinks to choose from. I had several options I wanted to try and ended up picking the breakfast burrito and the lavender and honey latte. The burrito itself was a little smaller than I would have liked and with the bacon and other ingredients in it, it did taste a little too salty. The potatoes could have used more time on the grill as they were slightly undercooked. The burrito, while very good could have used more variety in flavors and textures and it didn't come with any side items like fruit, plantains or a small salad. Honestly, I would recommend this so that you have something to clear the pallet between bites. Maybe some pineapple or melon. Not a lot, just enough to take a dozen bites or so. The latte was made from an American ground coffee which left a slightly bitter after taste even with the lavender and the honey to help mask the bitterness. I would recommend switching to an espresso ground and possibly a Cuban or European coffee supplier since these coffee beans are less roasted and have a tendency of offering a richer less bitter base to work from. Don't get me wrong, the food here is good. It's just not as good as it could be. They has clearly been a lot of thought and effort to create this wonderful little spot in Mesilla, why not deliver the absolute best and become legendary! If I ever find myself in this area, I'll be certain to stop in again and try their salmon sandwich and their chicken salad sandwich which the cashier did recommend and assured me it's done if the best of their menu. Keep up the great work! I look forward to seeing you in business for many years to come.

Drag brunch!

So happy with the newer owners. Good food but be prepared to wait on the weekends but you can sit outside on the beautiful patio. Such a fun drag brunch for Pride.

Delicious coffee drinks, in a cozy, welcoming setting. It was a great stop on a Sunday afternoon before the farmers' market.

The space is huge--couches, communal tables, and plenty of room to settle in whether you're working, meeting up, or just hanging out. It genuinely functions as a co-working space, which is rare to see executed this well in a coffee shop. There's a lot happening here in the best way: they sell records, infused coffee beans, merch, and even fresh sourdough loaves, giving the place a curated, community-driven vibe. The music sealed the deal--hip-hop with strong Common / A Tribe Called Quest energy--setting a relaxed, soulful tone that makes you want to stay awhile. Coffee-wise, I ordered the matcha with oat milk and it was smooth, balanced, and not overly sweet. Quality clearly matters here. Service was another standout: warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly without feeling forced. They also have a bakery case with assorted items (note for fellow vegans: bakery items are not vegan), though the drink options themselves are still accommodating. Overall, Picacho Coffee Roasters is a great spot for quality coffee, good music, and a space that actually invites you to linger. I'll definitely be back.

Updating my review of this amazing spot for moles just to add some more photos and details. Many…read moremoles later, this place is still my very favorite place for moles. They are simply magic here both in terms of flavor complexity and texture. Their texture here is truly the best. I literally was licking the plate at the end of each of these. I tried all four of their moles as plates and also as a sampler on four different occasions and all are very complex, rich, creamy and satisfying. -Mole Poblano. "A not so sweet ajillo pepper mole sauce with traditional ingredients and a touch of Oaxaca chocolate." This was the first we tried here and what brought us back for more. -Mancha Manteles mole: This mole is described on their menu as: "Sweet pineapple, red apples, fried plantain and a wonderful choice of spices make this mole a great and unique experience". This mole like their other ones came out piping hot, creamy, thick, complex and delicious. -Mole Negro: Chichilo pepper and tomatillo mole sauce with a smoky taste and a hint of ash. -Mole Verde o Pipian. Toasted pumpkin seeds and tomatillo mole sauce with a hint of hoja santa (root beer plant) My husband and I get their enmoladas stuffed with vegetables and get double serving of the black beans (rice has chicken stock so we avoid it to keep the meal vegan/ vegetarian). The plates are always piping hot and soooo yummy. When they have all four moles available they offer a sampler as well. We did this on our last visit and it was fun to revisit the 4 moles we had their side by side and compare them. I really love the ambiance out on the peaceful patio and there's cover form the sun. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out!
