Miss this restaurant down in South Florida. This seemed to be a different situation all together when it comes to the history. This location is location in the mall a d was struggling with some staffing issues, so the wait time was pretty bad after being seated. A lot of people are loud us in the other booths we're complaining. Our waiter was pretty good and very attention but the time to get our food was a little crazy. The menu has changed considerably. They no longer have the triple prime bacon cheeseburger which was one of the best burgers I have tasted and have switched it out and jumped on the smash burger thing. This was one of the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant let alone this location. Our server Abby S was the worst server I have ever had. I've been apart of the industry and I am confused how she still works there. We get into the restaurant around 7:30 and it's kinda busy so they send my party of 3 on a 5 minute wait. It was quick seating. That's about it. It looked like our server had 3 other tables. A large party and two small ones like us. So I knew it would be sometime before she'd see us because that's a lot of people to take care of... She didn't have them. It took 20 minutes with no exaggeration to get us started off with waters. The only reason we stayed is because a member in the party already got the salad bar and we were stuck. After another 5 or so minutes Abby comes back to take our order with her vape ready in hand as she's dropping off our waters. It was trashy. Like do that outside... at this point I see a different server, taking care of that party of eight and I was actually confused on why everything is taking so long. She cashed out her other tables and we were the only people left in her section. She clearly forgets to ring in our food and messed up the order and when she went to rectify the mistake she forgot again and what outside for a smoke break. A ten minute long smoke break. Walked up to Ruby Tuesday and they say they are on a 15 minute wait and literally only 6 tables in the whole building have people sitting at them. They are making everyone wait because only two servers showed up for work. What?? You're not gonna even sit me in the AC and let me order something to drink or get me water because your employees don't show up. My absolute go to for the salad bar! I get it instead of an entree and always leave happy and full. I love how much variety they have and how fresh it is every time i go. They are very quick to refill the missing items and usually never have to wait on anything. We were seated after the Hostess said a very confusing and busy day. Seated in the back corner near the kitchen. My wife went to the restroom while I waited for waitstaff to come by for drink order. No one came by to see about our drinks. My wife came back, sat down , and still no one came by. She then stated the rest room was absolutely disgusting and while walking past the kitchen noticed it was also disgusting with stuff on the floor and looking dirty. I must say this place has a great menu and daily specials besides a well stocked salad bar. Great atmosphere for a mall chain restaurant but Jacob the bartender, Kyle the manager and Maria the bartender and server as well as others on the staff make your visit worthwhile. It makes me want to go home and cook a four course meal for myself and throw it away, then take it out of the trash two days later, microwave it for 7 seconds and eat it with joy. Food is very salty. The natural flavors weren't evident. My son had the crispy chicken Mac and cheese. It tasted as if they poured a ton of salt in it. We had the boneless chicken garlic parm. A ton of salt on the batter as well. Salt seemed to be the most outstanding flavor of every dish. Not sure if the cook was having a bad day or that may be the normal process of cooking. Stopped in this evening for Valentine's dinner. So sorry we did. Upon arriving the place was almost empty. We made it a whopping 6 diners. A couple more sitting at the bar. We were seated by the hostess. Our server Christen or Kristen took our drink order. Drinks arrived, we ordered our food. Christen disappeared, tending ro other tables. My empty cocktail and iced tea glasses both sat on the end of the table for about 10 minutes until I finally flagged someone down for a refill. Appetizer arrived by another server. No small plates to share and nobody to ask for some. Kristen was gone. I finally asked a guy that walked close to our table for some. We start to get into the appetizer, and it is stone cold and undercooked. No one around to complain to. We leave it laying there, untouched. Food finally arrives. Missing one of my sides. Again, no one to as for assistance. Hubby's ribeye was small, cold and mostly fat. By the time he whittled away the fat, there was a 2" x 2" thin chunk of cold something with no flavor. Had to flag down some dude for my other missing side and some steak sauce. When they arrived his steak was colder than anything. Two bites and he just pushed it away. A huge pile of fat and the rest never touched. Hubby started counting how many times our useless waitress walked in by our table to attend to the other tables she was serving and we hit 17 passes without once ever coming to check on us after seeing everyone else fix her screw ups. When she finally showed up at our table, she asked if we needed boxes. Hubby snapped. He told her we would have liked another cocktail while we ate, we would have liked the food we had ordered and the food that did arrive was cold, fatty and tasteless. Kristen's response? "Oh, let me get you another cocktail now." "Wrong, we are done waiting for you, waiting for service, waiting for drink refills and waiting for what we ordered that did not arrive with our meal. The food was cold, horrendous and still sitting her almost all untouched. Just bring us a box so we can get out of here." Our useless waitress said, "Oh, let me get you your check. Just as soon as I can get my turn in the computer I will print it out." And off she trotted. My jaw on the table. Never any comment about correcting the bill, taking anything off the bill, getting a manager or anything. She returned with the bill and a handheld computer that starts at a 20% tip, yacking rapidly about hit this button and push that button and stick your card in there, all while totally ignoring everything we had told her. Hubby was livid and just wanted to be away from this horrendous non-listener who has chosen the profession of a waitress when she has zero listening and comprehension skills. Her last parting words were something about did we want her to get a manager to try to work something out. She could have done this well before she rolled off to get the bill, or before hubby went off after telling her the whole meal was still lying on the table, or any time she ignored us for 45 minutes and 17 passes by our table looking the opposite direction. Not wait until the $90.00 has been paid and tipped on to attempt to do something as we are already walking out the door. Too little, way too late. Bottom line, our dog gets $90.00 fat scraps for dinner tomorrow and we will never return to Ruby Tuesday in the Treasure Coast Square Mall. I visited this phenomenal upscale casual restaurant on Thursday June 29, 2023 for Lunch. This Ruby Tuesday lis located inside the Treasure Coast Mall which makes it so convenient . Our Waitress was the most polite, hospitable and accommodating server that I have EVER encountered and I dine out at least three (3) times a week. The personable attentive service and delectable food at this Ruby Tuesday location is of the upmost quality. We had the exquisite Salad Bar, Creamy Spinach and Artichoke Dip Appetizer, Juicy and Well Marbled Rib Eye Steak, Finger Licking Baby Back Ribs, Tasty Hickory Bourbon Salmon and the Decadent Lemon Cream Cake. This Ruby Tuesday supercedes many Fine Dining and other Casual and/or upscale restaurants that i have dined at (i.e. Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. Kyle G's, Oak and Ember, Miller's Ale House, etc. I HIGHLY recommend this 5 star establishment whether you're in the Treasure Coast Mall OR not. read more
