I do not believe I am not a difficult customer, but the server was distant,my order was wrong, and when I asked for a to go cup for my tea the waitress gave me a child size cup. When I asked for a larger one, she refused to pour it, saying it was a company policy. I have been to many Ruby Tuesdays and and receive the regular size to go cups. It is a shame. Went there on 5/19/19 for lunch, we were sat at a dirty table and then waited 40 min for a beer. The waiter was lazy and not seen most of the time we were there. There are a lot of good restaurants in this area. This is not one of them. Expect attitude, poor service and mediocre food.

Stayed in the area two weeks for business and the restaurant was conveniently located within a two minute walk of my hotel. Ate here four occasions during that time so I think I gave them a fair chance. The food was good and fresh every time I ate here, but the service is terrible. Consistently slow and unattentive. My glass was always empty and one occasion I waited 5 minutes to be greeted at the entrance, and a further 10 minutes to be acknowledged by a server. read more

Service is so slow. Took our server 15 minutes for a beer and a gin. Food was quick. I had the chicken parm. It was so cheesy that I had trouble finding the actual chicken. When I arrived I asked for a table for 1. The Hostess said well can U sit at the bar. I politely said I would prefer a table. She said well we have a policy where party's of 1 sit at the bar. So I probably should have read the reviews BEFORE we sat down and ordered, but anywho....Monday night in Atlanta headed home and after running errands we decided to stop off at Ruby Tuesdays. We ordered deviled eggs, a cocktail, burger with fries and a seafood entree. Took forever to get our cocktail and only 3 people sitting at the bar. Deviled eggs came out and I watched the server present my appetizer to a different group and the server picked it up after the confused patron stated he didn't order deviled eggs. Can you believe they actually tried to give me those same eggs??? Rest of food finally came out. Asked for mustard and ketchup. Ketchup showed up and I figured the mustard probably wasn't up for a dollop squeeze on my burger, so I proceeded with the ketchup. Long story short, Monday night, slow service and inattentive server. Undoubtedly the worst food we have ever tasted! Frozen entrees are more pleasing to the eye and the palette. It is appalling this establishment is still in business. The service was poor. The food is TERRIBLE! The cost of this experience was disturbingly high for the garbage we were served. We should have cancelled our entrees after our appetizer finally arrived as it took an exceedingly long time for tater-tot nachos. I repeat the food is TERRIBLE. The tater-tots were lukewarm, the few bits of shredded cheese were not melted and the pieces of canned diced tomatoes were flavorless. We were so hungry and exhausted from traveling we elected to endure the entrees. Did I mention the food is terrible?! Stouffers, Lean Cuisine and every other brand of frozen meals are much more satisfying. I give up. I'm in the area a couple times each year and I really love their garden bar. But the service is absolutely horrible. Every single time. Today was the last straw. Ordered a chicken dish with the garden bar and unsweet tea. Ate my salad, no drink. Waitress comes by and blames someone else, says she'll get it. My chicken comes, and finally some tea. Ruby Tuesday had tastey burgers but they are way over priced. The fast food chains have some good burgers that taste better and are priced right. It's a popular place with a lot of people and service is generally good. You can tell though that table turnover is a priority. I haven't been to this Virginia Avenue location in almost a year on purpose. My last experience was not a good one as were a few before not good as well. They always seem understaffed. I went by as I was needing to be somewhere close by soon. The host up front was really pleasant. He sat me at my table and I ran to wash my hands. I came back and sat there for 10 minutes. I don't know who my server was because no one ever showed up. One guy was serving a table in the area I was and kept looking at me but no one ever came over. After 10 minutes of sitting and not even having a drink order taken, I left. I went to the Sullivan Road restaurant where I should have gone in the first place. It's just like a TGIFs or Applebees. Nothing much going on over here. But the food was decent and the service was really good. I liked the waitress, she was pleasant and friendly. I had the Shrimp Fondue - meh! Could have been better - I was expecting something like the Seafood Fondue Pappadeaux has, but didn't come close. The keyword of this review is slow. This is not our first time experiencing the slowness of service at this location but it will certainly be the last. It was slow to be seated on a half empty restaurant. We all ordered flavored lemonades which apparently comes from the bar - slow. We put in our order and our entrees came out at different slow times. When they came out, the condiments we requested with the order wasn't there (that's fine, things happen). Salad bar is mediocre and doesn't have a fantastic array of salad items, but it'll do. There were 5 in my party. I had salmon, which was really delicious. Also, had the blondie for dessert. I would not recommend it. I had a bite of my co-worker's meal (steak) and it was really good. However, another co-worker's steak was tough and full of gristle. She had to send it back. I prefer the Ruby Tuesdays on Sullivan in College Park. Although the same restaurant , food and service, this one does not have a very good vib. The atmosphere is off. I think the RT across from the Sheraton is small and has a friendlier feel. I will say the chicken broccoli penne was quite good. read more

My experience at Ruby Tuesday was mixed. I usually receive presidential service but this time my server was average. The food came out the same. The superior service came when Crystal, a manager, came to my table asking about our service. She heard my critique and took action to correct it. This made my experience there much better.
