No one was at the front to seat our party. A young lady who was there waiting on here take out food that should have been an hour prior motioned to someone around the corner. The manager and an employee emerged and began arguing in front of us. Two RED flags in less than 5 minutes and we should have left immediately but decided to stay and dine in. Tables weren't clean and restaurant was nearly empty. Bottom line it took nearly an hour for our food to arrive. Service was subpar. We will not visit this RT again. This is disheartening because we would eat here at times passing through Atlanta before COVID pandemic. Should have read reviews before dining because each conveyed the truth. Came here around 9:30pm after traveling. Service was not good. Very disappointing. We ordered soup and they came out cold. They took them back to heat them up and it came back warm not hot. We ordered a salad, the chicken Fresca, macaroni and cheese with fried chicken. The salad was not good the chicken came out very cold the vegetables were not fresh they were mushy and didn't taste right, the chicken Fresca was ok the chicken was good and the mashed potatoes were ok but the brócoli came out soggy, and the macaroni and cheese with fried chicken came out boiling hot and the chicken was over cooked and rubbery. The service took forever..... the waitress literally would disappear forever. At one point we had to get up and look for her. Very disappointed! This doesn't even deserve a star. read more

Started off by trying to call in an order to go, after several unanswered calls, I was finally able to get through to someone. At this point I was already en-route to their location as I had been out shopping, and the restaurant was across the highway from my hotel and I needed something quick and reliable. The person who answered asked to put me on a two minute hold, no worries. Ten minutes later I'm still on hold and I've now pulled into their parking lot. Oh well. I walk in and the hostess directs me to the bar to place to-go orders, easy enough. The bar is full and the one bartender looks a little busy but she get to me in a couple of minutes. I place my order with her, she rattled it back easily and entered into the POS. Two turkey burgers, one with a GF bun and sweet potato fries, and the other regular bun and regular fries, both with sides of BBQ sauce. I'm going to guess that it took maybe 20 minutes or so to get my food, not too bad really considering the amount of people in the bar and rest of the dinning area. The bartender brings it to front of the bar and rings me up, and let's me know the BBQ sauce is in the bag, since that normally it the most forgotten part of my order, I was pleased to hear assurance that it was in there. I promptly pay with my card and head to the door. Back at the hotel a few minutes later and my wife and I are able to sitdown to eat, open up the containers and find... One of the plates was correct and the other wasn't. We received one turkey burger, with a GF bun, sweet potato fries, and a side of BBQ sauce. The other plate was some shrimp skewer dish over a bed of rice, regular fries, and a side of BBQ sauce. Definitely not was I ordered, I check my copy of the receipt, my order was correct on it, it was plated incorrectly and I guess no one checked the order before putting in the bag and turning it over. Normally I do a bag check if I'm ordering fast food, I guess I assumed a fast casual restaurant was on a higher level of attention. Jokes on me. The shrimp were... Ok... Wouldn't order again, on purpose or accidentally. My wife was satisfied with the turkey burger. read more

Oddly enough, after being warned to avoid this location like the plague... my experience here was good. I ordered take out and went and picked it up. The food was well- prepared, the staff helpful with my additional request for condiments, and I was in and out in 3 minutes. Moderately priced but it is what it is. Bit of a maze to get in and out but I survived. As I said previously, I usually don't review chain restaurants but they did well, so... give the credit where credit is due. read more

Each time I visit a Ruby Tuesday......ANY Ruby Tuesday I find myself asking myself "why the hell did I come here?" Tonight was no exception. I came here to have a nice Veterans Day meal but it was everything EXCEPT that so much so in fact that I don't know where to begin. Let's start with the fact that the service was slow af and sucked warm, putrid, unfiltered, raw sewage filled canal water through a straw! We waited 15 mins just to order then when the water was served there were small, unidentified particles in the bottom of the glass. Had I not looked at the water before I drank it well...... Next, when the food was finally served, the salad and appetizer never materialized and they served me the wrong meal, mixing up mine with someone else's! FAIL! My date ordered what was supposed to be chicken tenders but they were more like deep fried rocks (See the attached photo). Now why would they serve something like that to a FORMER REGULAR patron? Next, let's talk about the salad bar! It was quote stuggly, had been depleted and was missing a lot of key ingredients, no cucumbers, no cheese, no ranch dressing, and the drinks were watered down. To their credit I will say that after we expressed our displeasure with the meal and the dining experience they did apologize and gave me a complimentary meal but after that, they took another 10 minutes just to bring us the check so after giving them chance after chance to get it together; unfortunately the damage has been done. It seems that each Ruby Tuesday I have EVER visited whether here in Atlanta or when I travel out of town, it has been like this so unless they make sweeping changes to the quality of their service, it will be a long time before I go to a RubyTuesday again.....if ever. Ruby Tuesday - These are the super nasty inedible "chicken tenders" they served me on my LAST visit to Ruby Tuesday! Unsatisfactory!!!! - Burgers Near Me - East Point, Georgia

Was staying at the hotel down the street from this Ruby Tuesday and never having eaten at one, gave it a try. We weren't sure it was open or closed from the outside so I just called them and they said they were to be open for a couple of hours. We were seated right away, both times we were there, and the waitress showed not much longer. Ordered a couple of burgers and opted for the salad bar instead of the side dish. The salad is your typical salad bar with one nice exception, they have diced ham as one of the items. I could have made a meal out of the salad bar itself. My only complaint with the hamburgers is that they started to fall apart towards the end of eating them, which was getting messy. The restaurant is clean and free of any funny odors, which is a turn off for me. Would repeat if in the area again. read more

The experience was not a good one. Ordered the shrimp trio and some of the shrimp were raw and the pasta was inedible and rubbery! My friend had lobster tails and it was over cooked and looked very old. And another person in our group had salmon that was undercooked and over seasoned! I gave a second star because the manager worked diligently to make up for the bad cook by going and recooking the food himself. He actually did an awesome job on my shrimp. First impression is everything. The first customer contact within a restaurant is usually the hostess whom has the power to make or break a good impression. The food was great, my server was on point but it's the hostess that left a sour taste. When I first walked in, the hostess was on the phone taking a togo order. She didn't even smile or give me the I'll be with you in just a moment nod. Instead, she gave me the scolding expression for talking with my father while we were waiting for a seat. I've been a hostess before and since when do hostesses give disapproving looks to customers because they can't hear on the phone? It was just me and my father in the waiting area and we were not speaking loudly and the restaurant itself was quiet. The hostess was on the phone for a good 15-20 minutes before she sat us. I could have sat myself. Her attitude really ruined the experience. I don't understand why she couldn't put the customer on hold and sat us quickly. The restaurant was not crowded and there were plenty of clean tables behind her to seat us. Whole process would have taken a whopping 10 seconds. read more

I won't be back, but I doubt the place cares because they clearly live on travelers passing through (so don't expect great service). Asked for water as my beverage and was served seltzer. Boooo. Never got a little plate of the cheesy biscuits (because we didn't ask for them, even though they're complimentary). Server spoke of the food in a really unappealing way. This review was for Ruby Tuesdays on Virginia Ave right across from McDonalds and Spondivits (near the Airport). I am not sure about the food but the customer service was bad. We waited over 10 minutes before a waitress came to our table. People who were sat after us received beverages from the hostess almost as soon as they sat down. Nothing for our table. When the waitress finally showed up it was very awkward. She covered her face with her hand and started mumbling, I guess she was not feeling well. I felt very uncomfortable. After we ordered our drinks, we got up and left. There are tons of other great places to eat where they are happy to serve us. No need to deal with anything awkward or uncomfortable. You can't beat the burgers and the salad bar at Ruby Tuesday's. They have a huge burger list and also cater to non-beef eaters with turkey and veggie burgers. We love the triple prime burger (ground tenderloin, sirloin and prime rib), the mini-cheeseburgers and the traditional cheeseburger. Their fries are also very tasty--crunchy with salt and pepper seasoning. I also love their chicken pot pie, chicken oscar, and salmon. Recently they have re-done their decor to give it more of a modern, low-lit feel. The hostess at this particular location is a doll and recognizes us each time, as do alot of the waiters and waitresses. Prior to their new look, the service and quality started to go downhill a bit, which was a disappointment to the husband and I since this is one of our staple local spots. However, we have been back since and they seem to be improving. Sure, it's a chain restaurant, but I'm glad to have it around. read more

Everything, and I mean everything, is hit-or-miss here. From the service to food to the appearance, it's always a toss up as to what you may find. I often work nearby, so I've found myself here more than I'd like-- and also, I'm not super impressed with my other dining options in the area. Pros for me are the reasonable happy hour, salad bar and the fact that it's walking distance from most of the hotels I frequent. I'm not in love with the service (spotty at best), the undependable kitchen (I've sent many a thing back for temperature issues), and the condition of the interior (often lacking.) So I'm on a business trip too.. Ba-dum bum. So when I see that Ruby Tuesday I think of the meaty oasis that I am deprived of in Southern California, I'm almost giddy that my hotel is walking distance from it. Well, my previous experience was that they had nice beers and paid a lot of attention to food quality but this time, it was just.. good enough. The salad bar was pretty wilted and nasty but I did find a good macaroni salad that I gladly wolfed down. Burger came out unceremoniously plopped on my plate but it was at least cooked the way I ordered it. The waitstaff seemed to be enjoying themselves immensely with... whatever they kinds of flirting or courting rituals they were up to. I wasn't going to $@# block the fellas so I just chalked it up to being a laid-back southern thing and not fret about the service. OMG this was terrible!!!! I order wings and I got raw wings. I asked if they please can cook little more and the manager came and told me their wings come in precooked. I like Ruby Tuesday but this visit was for togo pick up on my lunch break. They weren't busy busy like I've seen them before but it took maybe 10 minutes to get acknowledged at the bar. Provided the bartender along with many others had come through cleaning this or cleaning that but no one said so much as good evening until eventually the bartender guy says, "What can I do for you?" I'm such a fan of a half way decent salad bar and therefore, I love Ruby Tuesdays over counterparts. This one in particular is absolutely fabulous.....if you order the salad bar (I imagine this is the case with this chain). I have gone here with a group of 12 to 15 people and 45 minutes in, people were only getting drinks. Unacceptable with an hour lunch! If you do brave the menu for an entree, a salad bar usually can be added for a buck. They've added some new additions like the southwest corn/black beans mix, red peppers and they seem to cycle through other things (cherry tomatoes versus tomato slices for example). All in all, this is the only place I know of in the area where you can make your own salad and they do well enough to get my service. That makes me a fan read more

Horrible service. We walked in and the person who was supposed to be hostess took over 5 minutes to get to us though she was only 5 feet from the stand. She told us there would be a 20 minute wait, although there were whole sections of the restaurant that were empty. It wasn't a social distance issue since there were whole sections closed. We told her we wanted a table. After waiting 20 minutes, she told us all she had was a high top. We pointed to the dozens of empty tables, she said those weren't available. Tried this place a couple times. Hoping the first one was just a fluke. Both times were bad. First time ordered burger. It was OK but I couldn't find the waitress it pay my check. Second time got ribs with salad. Lettuce was mostly stalk ends and leaves were wilted. Mashed potatoes were crusted over and dried as if they had been sitting out for a while. First time here. Visiting from CA where we have the commercials but not the restaurant. After the wait at our 1st choice was too long, we decided to go to RT. The drinks (Ruby Relaxer and Peach Margarita) were amazing. If I ever returned, it would be for the drinks. Sadly, the food was a huge disappointment. The salad bar was a mess and the vegetables were not fresh. It took almost 40 minutes to receive our food and then the burgers were wrong. This was fixed quickly but they were in no way "premium". I left the fries and half a burger. My friend's chicken broccoli pasta had overcooked chicken and undercooked pasta. The waitress was apologetic, took it off the bill and even offered a fresh order to go so that was nice. But it wasn't worth it.
