Half rack ribs and fries.
Mike B.

The food was tasty. However, portions were extremely small and overpriced: ribs came with about a dozen fries, salad was small and had a tiny 4oz cup of dressing, cheesecake had no strawberry sauce.... "Because that's our portion size," I was told. The Diet Coke was watered down and over-iced. $70 for this? Won't be back again.

The picture attached was when the course came. If I didn't tell you, you might think I had finished eating my dinner. I went there for the buy one, get the other for $2 deal. I guess this is totally a fraudulent promotion. Look at the tiny portion! I ordered exactly the same stuff for the other one, and I guess the chef just cooked one and split it in half.

Dead bugs

My husband, kiddo and I went out to Ruby Tuesday of culpeper. (Our first mistake) We all got the salad bar. I found this dead beetle in my salad after having eating a plate. I wanted to vomit . My husband got the manager. Her name was Amanda. She only comped my salad. I told him we are NOT paying for any of our food. We all got salad and god knows what else was dead in there. I told the manager that we won't be paying. She said "oh you just had the ONE bug." Excuse me! Wow really. ONE bug? Does this make it ok? She had an attitude about us not wanting to pay. She still kept the drinks on our check so we paid for those. My husband told her she should be worried about changing out the salad bar. People were steady coming in the restaurant. This is absolutely disgusting and unsanitary. Amanda acted like this was an everyday thing.

I ordered Chicken Carbonara. It was pretty good and creamy. The bread stick was tough and was a bit of a crunch to chew on. My wife ordered the bake potato and zucchini. She returned the zucchini because of it covered in oil. I also ordered us a slice of cheese cake for dessert. I wanted the pumpkin one but they were out I wanted to really try that one. Maybe next year since it's only a seasonal item. Anyways experience was good. Server was friendly.

This was not in anyway cajun. And the butter was disgusting.

Yuk. 15 years ago I would have been a fan. We used to come here often. Today? Me thinks not. My daughter and came here after some quick buys at Rue 21. They have great bogos. We were starving. Usually that means we'll eat just about anything. (Everyone but us was either under 6 or over 60). Probably due to eay kids meals and open salad bar. Not a lot can go wrong there right? We started with the spinach artichoke dip. It was ok. I've had worse. I got the salad bar and cajun shrimp and rice. I have no idea why they use the word cajun. There was no flavor. Stringy shrimp from the grill and a small pad of rice absolutely soaked in some really thick melted butter. It tasted like old popcorn butter and my rice was swimming. I gave it back. My salad bar would have been ok but the red onions had some foul lingering taste to them. Luckily, I actually ate 1/2 my salad before biting into one. So at least I had something to eat. We had planned on getting desert but after that mess, I suggested Moo Thru. They comped my "cajun" shrimp and rice but this is now on my list of *never go again*. Right along side with applebees.

Owner John and his staff were exceptionally friendly, providing attentive service-tables were kept spotless, courses were cleared promptly, and water glasses were always refilled. The food was delicious, though on the pricier side. Beyond the listed menu prices, additional fees (like a service charge and an à la mode fee) plus city and state taxes made the bill add up quickly. What We Ordered: 4*Duck Pâté - Served with a fresh salad, crackers, mustard, and jelly. A delightful starter! 5*Pork Collar - Slow-cooked for hours, the meat was incredibly tender, and the sauce was heavenly. We nearly licked the plate clean-worth driving back for! A must-order. 4*Palazzo Pot Roast - The meat was a bit tough and chewy, but the flavors were well-balanced. Despite being full, we couldn't resist dessert-thankfully, the portions were small! Ice Cream Sandwich - very good, though we were surprised to learn it was store-bought, not made in-house. Mixed Berry Pie - A warm, petite slice served with a spoonful of ice cream (for an extra charge). Note: There's no dessert menu, so we didn't know about the additional fees upfront. Overall. a wonderful dining experience with standout dishes, though the extra costs were a slight downside.

Very tasty burger with the grilled onions. The house-made chips are also good. My only complaint is the tiny "side salad" that I ordered. That it would be an upcharge with my burger but was charged $7 for the small salad. Server confirmed after questioning the bill.

The interior gives upscale sports bar vibes. We chose a high top table toward the back of the restaurant. Our server ended up being the bartender too. They had $5 margaritas that night so I ordered one and we started with an order of their pierogies. There were four and they were served over a smear of their beer cheese. There were ok. I wanted more seasoning in the filling itself. It was pretty bland. For my entree I got their hot dog with chili and cheese with their housemade chips. I was pleasantly surprised to see a cheese sauce on the dog. It was pretty good. Some of the chips were pretty overcooked. The service brought this score down. I think the bartender was busy but plenty of servers were available. There was a lot of conversation at the bar. We probably should have just sat there. We missed out on drink refills, having our order taken promptly, and getting the check when we were ready to leave. Overall there were a lot of interesting things on the menu. I would want to return to see what else tasted good.
