We were excited to try Ruby Tuesdays. They have all closed around us. If this location is any indication it should close as well. Dirty from the front door to bathrooms and the sticky table. The host finally came from the bar and sat us but never looked up from her FaceTime conversation and kept talking to the person on the phone through her earbuds. I hope this is not the future of hospitality. I know help is hard to find but the presence of a manager on the floor would be a good start. Saving grace.... The Pasta Carbonara was excellent. Came here to eat. Staying at near by hotel. Sat at bar cuz hostess wanted to keep tables clean since it was 45 min to closing time. Sat at bar which was dirty n nasty n no one acknowledged us til we got tired of waiting. As we r walking out the door they say come back to eat. The red head hostess just didn't care. Been there twice now. First experience, I sat at the bar. Had a beer and the salad bar. This visit though is why they aren't getting 5 stars: The salad bar experience was horrid! Some of the items were out of reach. It's a good thing I have long arms or else I would never have been able to get to some of the items; I later learned it was because part of the bar wasn't working so they had to crowd the ingredients to either side... manager said they were working on getting it fixed. I also took a carry out order home which was made to order and received good service at the bar. Wife said her steak was made right and potato were good! Second visit about a month later: Salad bar still not fixed so I avoided it; Shame too because I love salad bars but didn't feel like having to reach so far that my face was on the glass. I went with my wife to take advantage of the Tuesday burger special(which was a super deal!)... this visit was stellar(even without the salad bar)! Our burgers were made great! They were hot and tasty and the fries were also fresh, hot and crispy. Our waitress was on point and very nice and made sure we had everything we needed or wanted. The place was clean both times and staff friendly. Wife was happy and said she was impressed with the food and service. Stopped in at 7:55, was seated immediately by Phillip. Asked to be sat away from everyone else due to having children with us and a 2 yr old. Which he was fine with he also took care of us. He was good, however the food took an hour to come out and considering we got 3 of the app samplers and a Philly cheese steak, was absurd. Shouldn't have taken more than 20 minutes tops... as we were leaving I did notice the salad bar was a wreck, wouldn't have personally got anything from it. Has fallen on hard times! The salad bar was a train wreck, the shredded cheese had turned the same color as the beets. Indicating to me it had been stuck to them beets for a while. The pork chop was room temperature in the middle and still somewhat pink. I was convinced it was not fully cooked. The server seemed "unaffected" by almost the entire thing sitting on the plate when she returned for payment. I didn't say a word, she brought me a box. I am the worst customer, I don't say anything. Ruby Tuesday has always been a favorite of mine for a good 20-plus years. I thought the closest one was in Huntington. And their salad bar! My my my...that is a meal within itself. I did not know the steak quality here but now I do. I ordered a med rare 6 oz ribeye and baked. Someone was baked for sure. I received a well-done skinny slab of beef. I asked our server to correct my order and after a while I received a sorry piece of meat that, while med rare, had no flavor and could have been ground for burgers instead. I always loved Ruby Tuesday because of the salad bar but unfortunately, our visit today was not so good. Filthy table (I used hand sanitizer to clean ours off - it was so sticky), the plates at the salad bar were gross (literally had to dig through the stacks of plates to find a semi-clean one), the lettuce was questionable, the silverware didn't look fully washed, and our waitress seemed less than thrilled to serve us lol of course we still gave her a 20% tip because it's not her fault the place is filthy and icky and I probably wouldn't super cheerful working there either. Stopped in on our way home from Charleston, SC on our way to Pgh and had a super pleasant waitress named Kristy T . I understand (from the conversations my wife overheard) that she was new. We ordered easy- chicken sandwiches and the salad bar. She did an awesome job. She was attentive but not hovering, super friendly, and got our orders perfect. She was excellent. The other servers that were having a bitch session a few tables away from us, however, could use a little 'restraint'. Beckley wouldn't have that many restaurants & businesses if it wasn't for the 'travelers' a certain server was bitching about. We keep your town busy and if you keep complaining about the old guy that ordered a sandwich & a water and kept asking for a refill, his bill was like $7 and he tipped you $2... well, maybe your attitude showed through. Maybe a little friendliness and compassion would help you get a better tip. His $2 tip was actually 28% of his bill... maybe you need to pick a different profession. read more

Food was delicious! I got the $5 blackened fish sandwich (I'm pretty sure it's tilapia) deal that is available on Tuesdays. It came with the sandwich and fries. It was the first time I have tried that and it was awesome. The fish was piled onto it, definitely was a messy sandwich but so good. I wasn't expecting that much fish piled onto it but I'm glad they did. The only suggestion I have for possible changes in the future is I hope they bring back the prime meat hamburger option (that upgrade was well worth the $2 and tasted so good). read more

She took it off the bill and gave him his food.The shrimp were packed with garlic but keep in mind they are garlic shrimp. My wife was smart and stuck with the Salad Bar. I ordered the 12 piece Shrimp dinner with fries and was very underwhelmed. The Shrimp were butterflied and cooked to the point where they had no taste. The Cocktail Sauce ( I was given a choice between it and Tartar) was very bland and had virtually no taste and gave little contrast to the shrimp Obviously geared to the pass through traveler who will be unlikely to stop by again. The waitress that we had was very nice and did a good job. But a lot of the other workers were pretty rude, no greeting when we came and and would walk right behind you and not even say excuse me. Just some things that you should just do especially if you are an employee.
