The food was pretty good. It is relatively pricey but if you have DashPass it helps a lot for DoorDash. I wish I had taken photos, but I ended up getting their version of a Philly and that Gouda cheese sauce is to die for. I was supposed to get banana peppers but I believe they forgot them, which is okay, but I think it would've been better with them. My fiancé got the blackened steak Alfredo, and the steak was cooked to perfection, but the Alfredo sauce lacked flavor honestly. For appetizers we have tried their hummus with the pita and their cheese sticks. Cheese sticks are always good but I felt as though their hummus was questionable and also lacked flavor. What a special find! It's a chameleon, looking one way for lunch and another for dinner. Come noon time, this place serves some of the best diner food you're going to find anywhere. Fantastic burgers, as well as a great rendition of a Philly Steak and more. At night, though, the short-order apron makes way for the chef's jacket. The blackened catfish and the pork chop are no joke. Like I ate there three nights in a row, no joke. Young Mary was our server, and her sass matches her relax. Place was nice, but very cold on the inside. The workers were great until we had a problem with our food. I ordered spinach dip as an appetizer and found a huge piece of plastic in the dip. When our host brought out the food I told her of my problem and she said she would take it off the check but never did. After the first three restaurants we tried nearby were closed on Tuesdays, we stumbled into Cafe One Ten with a bit of desperation. The restaurant is spacious but a tad outdated, and only a few patrons were there when we entered, but the service was quick and friendly. In the end, we were pleasantly surprised. The prices weren't bad, and the food was good, especially the fried catfish and macaroni. I've never seen a Texas toast-style hotdog bun, so points for creativity! Personally, it was a bit too much buttery bread for a hotdog, but I can't say it wasn't tasty. If you're looking for light fare, the menu offers salads, but this probably isn't your best bet. Ordered reuben and Mediterranean quesadilla, tasty but 1 star as ALL of my fries were crumbs!!! It was togo so I feel they didn't care and gave me bottom of the bag of fries. Can't believe a cook would even think that was ok - maybe he was mad we interrupted his guitar practice with our dinner order. Just sucks as we drove 2.5 hours to go to cabin nearby. Unfortunately no pictures for this review but damn, we absolutely loved this little spot! Anytime we're in the area again, this will be a must stop for sure. We enjoyed to-go the Gouda mac n cheese, Philly fries and a slice of the Oreo cheesecake. We'd order everything again but double it haha. The mac was crazy creamy, cheesy and pretty darn perfect (Other than not ordering a giant bowl of it). The Philly fries were overall really good too, crispy fried, meaty cheese and your normal veggies. My only slight complaint is the steak was in bigger pieces than I would've liked, but still would order again. Side of ranch was delish too. The Oreo cheesecake was fantastic, homemade and I want an entire pie of it. It reminded me of a mid pie but no coffee ice cream. It did have good and solid reviews, but honestly I didn't think would've been this good. Support local restaurants and this gem you guys have here. This is a great place to stop while traveling for some good dogs! They were having a Sunday buffet that looked amazing - pork chops, chicken, kielbasa and kraut. But I had my heart set on hot dogs since Cleveland just doesn't seem to do chili sauce right. Hot dogs were great! This catered meal for 25-30 people was planned and coordinated on short notice (2 days) and went off without a hitch. The food arrived early and was steaming hot. Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette or Ranch Dressing, Chicken Parmesan, Primavera Pasta, Pasta Marinara, and Garlic Bread. I especially enjoyed the Chicken Parmesan and the Primavera Pasta. The Chicken was tender, and the breading and the sauce were on point. The Primavera Pasta was cooked perfectly and was seasoned just right. The quesadilla was excellent as well and came with salsa and sour cream. Decor was nothing special, and my chair was a bit wobbly. At first I was thrown off by the smoky atmosphere, but it's from the grill- I think it just needs better exhaust. Food was awesome. We had a One Ten burger/onion rings, and club sandwich with hand cut fries. Being from South Carolina, I was curious how the fried green tomato would compete- crispy texture, bun was soft, burger was awesome. Onion rings were prob frozen- wasn't impressed here. Stumbled upon the place while traveling, and so happy I did. The food was unbelievable. I got a burger with a fried green tomato on it, and that's one of my favorite foods that is hard to come by in New York, so I was thrilled to get it. They had a claw game in there and my son won two prizes from it, and it was a cute, quiet place, with very reasonable prices. Winding down a day trip in Fayetteville and Oak Hill, I thought I'd end things on a hot dog note. I hadn't been to Cafe One Ten in several years. Honestly, I almost left. I sat for 20 minutes with zero acknowledgment. I even snapped a picture of my empty table and was going to post, "My hot dogs should be pictured here." After I snapped the picture, a waitress came over and said, 'Oh my goodness, you've been sitting for over 20 minutes, haven't you?" I told her it was fine, and I just wanted hot dogs, lol. Although I was displeased with no one taking my order for that long, I was happy that my meal came out nice and hot. The fries were very tasty and seasoned. The ranch had a nice zest to it. The hot dogs were very pretty. I mean, sometimes you get hot dogs that look like a dump truck rolled over them. Other times, you get hot dogs that are soggy and look like someone dropped them in the sink. These hot dogs looked like someone actually took some time in them. Kind of like those "sammich artists" used to do back in the 2000s at Subway, lol. I wouldn't say that they were the best hot dogs I've ever eaten, but they were good. Buttered, toasted bun and sweet slaw. I'm a big slaw person and I always end up comparing slaws to my Gramma Foster's homemade slaw. Call it favorism, but she set the bar very high. So, this was not "Mawmaw grade" slaw. However, much better than anything store-bought around here. $7.66 total, which isn't a bad price. But there was a brunette waitress who was not cool as I stood there waiting to pay (or the 20 minutes I tried to make eye contact with her while I was waiting for someone to come take my order.) I was a waitress years ago and I'm big on acknowledging customers and hospitality. Not once would she look me in the eye or spoke to me the entire time I was at Cafe One Ten, and just walked away from me as I stood waiting to pay. I understand that I wasn't her table, or was I...maybe that is another reason I waited 20 minutes? But she could have said, "I'll go get your waitress" or even asked how my meal was. I got the impression she had the "not my customer, not my problem" attitude. So, "boo" to the brunette for acting like I'm the Invisible Man. If I had to give them a score, I'd give them a 6.5 out of 10. I knocked off half a point for bad customer service. Call me the Hot Dog Karen, if you want. read more
