We took a deep our off the highway and started worrying that we were on a wild goose chase and nearly passed it. There was one spot left in the tiny parking lot. Retrofitted old gas station on a narrow lot. Great friendly casual vibe. No ice but water and bottled drinks were ice cold. By the time I played two pinball games my food was ready. I ordered the huge Charleston Girl Salad with delicious chicken salad on top. Couldn't finish it. My husband got Granny Burger with customizations. Delicious Waitress was charming. My husband and I stopped in here our last day in town last month when were visiting the area with our dogs to hike at New River Gorge. It was one of the pet friendly options I had searched before we went and it ended up being one of our favorites. They have a small, pet friendly patio that we sat on and were shaded from the heat under a big umbrella. The dogs each got their own little water bowls upon arrival. Our server was prompt and friendly and made sure we had plenty of water during our stay. I had a side salad and a chicken salad sandwich that was seasoned perfectly and was very fresh. My husband had a side salad and a burger and really loved what he ordered. He said it was a great portion size, juicy, and seasoned well. It's a cute little place kinda off by itself and they have pinball inside that would have been fun to play if we had been traveling solo. Go to this place! Absolutely delicious. The menu was so original, and server Tyler explained everything. We had "The Queen" sandwich, which was a scrumptious French Dip, and the "Cosmic Girl"' which was a grilled chicken sandwich with jalapeños, pepper jelly, and cheese on a crispy bun that absorbed all the great juices. Looks like they repurposed an old filling station. Cool interior with pinball machines. The waitress was very knowledgeable about all they offered (which is a lot). Was hard to choose but I ordered the Tammy. Grilled chicken, bacon, pimento cheese and pepper jelly on perfectly toasted bun. It was delicious! My husband had the Queen. Sliced prime rib, mushrooms, onions white American cheese with aus ju. His was equally delicious. They both come with homemade chips that were fresh and tasty. We didn't have room to try their cookies but they looked good. Great place you must try if you are going thru on 64. Great food good quality and quantity for your money. Traveling through and my wife found these awesome reviews online. We agree on 5 star ratings and are SO glad we stopped. Had two superb specials: Florida Girl, their take on a Cuban sandwich and The Queen, prime rib Philly. Deviled egg potato salad and house-made chips w/ dill dip were SO good! Great flavors and large portions made us ignore the cold "garage". Get a bakery treat to go! read more

Stopped for lunch while doing a day trip to New River Gorge and was not disappointed . Grabbed burgers and fries . Was cooked to perfection! Got the Crash Burger which was huge and more than filling. Grabbed a couple of their chocolate chip cookies and one their double stack cookies which were delicious.Staff was friendly and attentive. Will definitely go again when in that area. read more

The food is fantastic. The burgers are fresh and tender. The Appalachian Goddess dip for the chips is delicious. My mom got hot dogs and said the chili sauce and slaw was really good. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is the limited parking. There weren't many people there when we went, but it could fill up very quickly during busy times. It's in an old auto shop, which is cool, but I would love to see them expand. read more

Nice small town spot that is worth a stop. Service was great but be aware this is a "low frills" kind of place. No AC or ice. (Also no alcohol) Seems like they renovated a car repair shop... decorations are punk rock meets rockabilly (if that's a thing). Vibe seemed fun and relaxed. Not a lot of places to park or sit, so if they are busy, you might be out of luck. Love that they had good gluten free buns!! They have other non-burger items, but most people prob come for the smash burgers with thoughtful flavor combos. Also saw a lot of people ordering salads. Dips are a must for the homemade chips. Also love that they source ingredients locally when they can. Reason for 4 stars: Water had stuff floating in it Higher than average level of grease on husbands burger Homemade chips weren't consistent with the fry which made many of them soggy. read more

We stopped here for a late lunch, wanting some local flavor. This place did not disappoint, my husband ordered the Granny Burger and fries. The burger was prepared with just a slight pink in the center--perfect.It had pimento and cheddar cheese and a sweet sauce. I ordered the "Dolly" which was a fried green tomato sandwich smothered in pimento cheese and a sweet relish. It was insanely good, the perfect balance of salty sweet goodness. Our waitresses were very attentive and delivered our food in about 10 minutes. They also had a bunch of vintage pinball machines which would be great for families with kids to play. Jace was a pleasant and welcoming presence. We were greeted, seated ourselves and served in a short amount of time. We ordered burgers and fresh cut chips. Food was very good. We have made the trip up 64/77 more times then I can count and always looking for a good midway stop between nc and oh. Most are lacking. This place... it stunned me. Found on yelp, I figured let's give it a try. It's super close to the freeway. It was amazingly delicious. The salads... burgers... and omg their cookies and macaroni salad. Can I have more please? Cool place to relax and get some great food. Friendly folks serving up some great food, and drinks. Relaxing atmosphere, prices are very good for the portion size, and the food is cooked to order, and fresh. Nice choices on the menu, it's all good. I went to the desk and ask Roxanne about the restaurant. She told me that she'd heard good things about it that the cooks have been there for 18 years so we decided to eat there. We sat down at the bar our bartender was Trena She was awesome. We ordered a beer and decided on the Margarita Flatbread and a side salad. We moved to a table for a little more room and comfort.Trena brought us out homemade potato chips. They were really good When the margarita flatbread came out no red sauce. instead, it was chopped sweet, red tomatoes. They were so good on that flatbread.Just tomatoes cheese and balsamic glaze on top. The side salad was good also. We didn't get the cucumbers and onions on it. They have a limited menu, but the three things that we had were really good. We also had breakfast there the next morning. We would definitely stop by on our way through just to eat one of those margarita pizzas
