The dining area is spacious, and sits on the New River at the base of the New River Gorge. You order old school, walk up to a window, simple menu, then either dine in or head out. From the looks of the parking lot and the people waiting inside the entrance, I expected a wait of about an hour. No, they put us on a waiting list and had us seated within under 10 minutes. I am very pleasantly surprised with how great the service is here, considering how standards of customer service in the food industry have all but evaporated since the pandemic. You just can't find the the type of service that they offered us at this Outback Steakhouse anymore in a post-pandemic world - so treasure it where you can find it. They took too long getting our side order of chicken wings out. So they gave us the wings anyway, removed the wings from our bill, then the manager came over and personally apologized (after our server had already done the same thing), and gave us a voucher to compensate us for our troubles even further. Mind you, this is on a night when they are absolutely swamped with customers, and such a mistake could reasonably be overlooked anyway. I turned to my 10-year-old daughter and I told her, "THAT is how you make a mistake all right." Mistakes happen, but too few places these days are willing to make it right. The past couple times we have been to this Arby's not only do they keep messing up the order, the Arby's worker treated us like we were stupid. We would clearly say what we wanted, then not get what we asked for. We'd go inside and tell them we did not get what we asked for. Then they would ask for the receipt, checked everywhere for the receipt just to notice they did not give us one. After ordering what we wanted in person (which we did not want to do because of this pandemic) I looked around me and 4 other family's had a messed up order. JUST WOW! Like I can understand messing up once, but 5 other times is just MIND BLOWING! I wouldn't recommend this Arby's. Also most of the employees were rude.
