From the drab not particularly clean interior (punctuated by what appeared to be a homeless guy camped out in a table in the back), to the fact that our food came out before we even finished pouring our drinks, nothing was good or worth the money. A decent breakfast, reasonably quick, at a reasonable price, but with transcendently fantastic biscuits! I don't usually bother giving a 3 star review. Usually I only post reviews for great 4 and 5 star places or for terrible 1 star places. And I never review fast food type places. This one is an exception because the biscuits here are amazing! The place is kind of a decent breakfast type place. A bit like an IHOP or a Dennys, except for those biscuits! The biscuits are freshly made, not mass-produced and reheated. Pros Staff- Staff were friendly, warm, and attentive, coming and asking all was good and if we needed anything (even though there is no wait staff) Food- I ordered the Mary B meal with no cheese and it was great! Tons of bacon and an unbeatable biscuit. (Also worth noting their tater rounds are always so crispy and yummy!) Price- For two Mary B meals (one with an OJ) it was under $20. Can't beat that! Cleanliness Place was clean and well kept, even in the AM with a relentless line of customers to help. This local WV chain offers up a big variety of biscuit sandwiches along with some other breakfast, lunch and dinner options. We tried a few of the sandwiches and all were simple, fresh and tasty. The biscuits are fluffy and warm. The cinnamon apples are a nice side, not too sweet and the apples have some crunch. Since we started visiting West Virginia with an idea to making it our home, people have been recommending Tudors to us. Well, when we came to close on the house we finally made it for breakfast! Well I gotta say, those biscuits are HUGE! If they are not the biggest biscuits you will ever see, I would be scared. They were practically dinner plate sized! I asked the counter lady which one she liked, but then veered off from her suggestion and got the Miner (bacon, hashbrown, cheese) while the Colonel got the shaved melted ham. Mine was good, but over the top calorie-wise (and yes, it took me all day to eat it, nibbling here and there). I think if and when we go back I would try the shaved ham, go straight for the protein. Were they the most amazing biscuits I ever had? Gonna go with no, but they def were the biggest! They had free WiFi and clean bathrooms, and are close to the shopping drag. I understand accidents happen, but I ordered French toast sticks to go, got home, took a bite from one of the fresh hot French toast sticks, only to discover that it was covered in salt. Some of the sticks even had a bit of pepper on them. I don't know if maybe they just picked up the salt shaker instead of the sugar one, or maybe they had just used dirty gloves, but it was awful! Ordered the Super Breakfast this morning. About half way through I found a blond hair about 4 inches long in the apples. When the waitress came by to refill coffee I quietly pointed it out to her.
