This chain used to be one of our staples for a good quick meal. Something changed for the worse about 2 years ago and we can no longer give them any more chances. During our last visit, we ordered soup with a side of bread but soup and chips. When we asked about the bread, we were told that the bread is for tomorrow and we could not have it. After a discussion with the manager, we got bread but we were asked if we knew the bread was for the next day? Didn't know how to respond. One our meals was a chicken sandwich which had a small amount of chicken and was thrown together - I've seen better from Subway. As we were finishing our meal at around 7:30pm, they emptied the tea dispensers. Keep in mind, they close at 9pm. Sat in the drive thru for 10 min before someone came out to tell me that they had just gotten there (it was now 10 min AFTER opening time) because the manager was an hour late. Food repeatedly made incorrectly and items omitted from bag on multiple occasions when ordering from drive thru.

I will never go here again. And for health and safety reasons no one else should either. The food quality is trash and they've given me food poisoning twice and salmonella poising. I've been told by two different past employees that employees drop food on the dirty kitchen floor and still use that food 24/7!!!! Not to mention I know some of their employees and they hire some of the nastiest people with horrific personal hygiene. The person I know that works here currently literally almost never washed their hands in the whole three+ years I knew them after eating, using the restroom, picking their nose which they do often. 3 out of five of my last orders were wrong. No chicken in the $12 chicken caesar salad, no dressing on one salad, no side roll on another salad, and a "grilled cheese" that wasn't grilled, only buttered bread. For a rather pricey meal, they continue to get it wrong here. They also offer nothing for your trouble or loss of money. No bueno. Holly is amazing! She's the best, and makes things happen. She saved me from food poisoning and gave me free soup at the same time. Basically, she warned me that the turkey chili wasn't ready and gave me French onion instead and then she gave everybody at my table free pick two coupons. This Holly is like a Christmas angel. This review is for the Panera in Greenbriar, VA. I ordered take out and I was disappointed to find they didn't get the order right. My daughter and I ordered the Fuji Apple salad with chicken. We received the salads with the wrong dressing, no gorgonzola cheese, and like one or two pecan chips. I just had this salad a couple of days ago at another Panera and it was really good. I convinced my daughter to try it. Bad idea. We were both disappointed to get such a bland salad with missing key ingredients. read more

We stopped at this Panera on our way back to Ohio. The customer service from multiple employees was great. The restaurant was clean, and our food was good. The woman who took our order helped us determine if a menu item had ingredients in it that we couldn't have, and she made sure that we were able to look over the ingredients to make sure. I visited Panera Bread twice in two weeks because of the commercial for the turkey, cranberry flatbread. first time i got home with a sandwich that had what looked like cranberry juice on it with two little halves of cranberries. i was very dissapointed. I used to love going to this panera when Holly was manager and the blonde woman was the assistant. The staff was friendly and really cared about the place back then. It seems as though with the new assistant manager things are going downhill. She is rude to her employees in front of customers (since that day I have never gone back), and in return the staff is less friendly than they were back when it opened. Good food, bad staff. The assistant was a shift manger back when Holly was there, I really thought they would have let her go. This Panera Bread has left a sour taste in my mouth simply because of the lack of professionalism. Now I am considering driving to charleston when I want Panera or simply going through the drive-thru. read more
