Hostess was great. My Husband and I Had Breakfast with excellent service. Our Server Mia was awesome. The food was good.

Creamy Vanilla Spiced Latte

Was recommended by a local to try this place out and was not disappointed AT ALL!! The fried green tomatoes are a MUST GET, I mean they were just absolutely DELICIOUS! The toppings on them with their sauce is just perfection!! Coffee was solid as well--the vanilla iced latte was just right! When it came to the other food, everyone practically loved their choices! I would say, I do wish the fried chicken in the sandwich was seasoned, but hey, it was still good! Great service and looking forward to having another breakfast here soon!

The place was PACKED so I feel it would be better to let guests know there's an hour wait BEFORE seating them at a table & taking the order. We waited an hour before getting our food. I wouldn't have minded as much if the food was great but the chicken sandwich was overcooked and hard and the fries were soft droopy and not crispy! On the other hand my husband enjoyed his breakfast especially the surprise fried green tomato! The waitress was exceptional & super friendly. The place was clean with clean restrooms. I'd go try it again but only if I had a lot of time to burn or if I wanted cocktails while waiting for food.

The food was good per usual, but geez- the wait! We put our name on the list before arriving to the restaurant so no issue there. When we sat down, our server greeted us and offered drinks immediately- no issue there. But then... we waited about 30-45 mins just to get our appetizer and then another 30 for our food. The waitress did apologize many times and let us know how many orders were ahead of ours and we overheard her telling the table next to ours that most of the kitchen staff had called out so they were very backed up. Overall the experience wasn't terrible because we were patient and not famished. The table next to ours was quite upset and anxious because they said they were starving which i understand... i wish they would've let us know the kitchen situation before we sat down so we could make a choice.

I think I've officially visited all of the Ruby Slipper locations, and I can honestly say I love every one of them. This spot has a great location right off Vets and offers the same fantastic menu options I've come to enjoy. On our recent visit, we ordered the Spanish Omelette and the Country Breakfast--both arrived quickly and absolutely filled us up. I highly recommend this Ruby Slipper!

Ruby slipper is my go to when I come to NOLA. The bread pudding pancakes were rich and delicious. With them being bread pudding they were a little doughy but not bad. Super sweet. The latte was delicious not too sweet but good espresso. Service was mid, we had to send back some cold food but they were prompt with correcting the order.

Bacon-infused Bloody Mary and Sangria from Ruby Slipper Veterans

I love Ruby Slipper and their bennies! (The picture of the bennie is from a different location but same idea). Plus their bacon-infused bloody mary is the best! A must-stop when visiting NOLA.

I came late on a Saturday morning and was promptly seated. I got the bacon bite things as an appetizer and let me tell you, it was delicious. I forgot to snap a picture of the biscuits and gravy, but it was great. I got a plain biscuit and fried green tomatoes to go and they were good. Reasonable prices. It can get busy though!

Great spot to get brunch around New Orleans. They have a big menu with all tasty options. Large seating area with friendly service. I got the peacemaker which was the perfect amount of food for me. I liked the chicken more than the cochon. Overall solid food, I'd come back.

Bayou Shrimp Benedict

They have a parking lot but it's very busy. We sat down at about 10:30 and there was open tables. Recommend bringing a jacket bc the ac blows right on you. We started off with the pineapple upside down beignets. 4 to an order. They were really good but definitely save them for dessert. Too sweet for an appetizer. The bayou shrimp Benedict was delish and a great portion size. My mom really liked the fried green tomato blt,

Been here a few times but there's never really a wow factor. It's convenient when I don't want to go deep into the city, and reasonably priced. Today service was exceptionally slow. The waiter blamed it on the kitchen being backed up but I saw people getting food that came after us and ordered after us. It's ok but not the "go to".

Chicken St. Charles Benedict

Perry was exceptional. He tended to our group of friends so well and had the warmest and friendliest energy. He helped us navigate a food allergy in our party, too. We all enjoyed our dishes and I can't wait to come back for more! P.S. you have to try the spiced latte!

Shrimp & Grits
Julia E.

Shrimp and grits were good, not great. Shrimp were very small. Cappuccino very good. Service good. Had to ask for water. What's up with that? Food didn't stay on my stomach long, maybe 20 minutes. Something wasn't clean. Or fresh.

Great Ambiance, nice Drink. Nice people. I pass this place…read moreevery morning with no time to stop. I had time today!! I mean, I love Matcha so it was a must try. The look of the place is very welcoming and apparently I'm late to the party because the line was long. Only thing, there were only 2 workers so it moved a little on the slower side. Also, they get cool points for the cute little reading nook area. I ordered the white chocolate matcha with oat milk. The matcha itself is high quality. Idk. You can just tell. Nice and bright, beautiful green matcha. The flavor is great. My problem was, that's all I could taste was the might. Almost forgot there was chocolate in there because I couldn't taste it at all but I watched the barista put it in the cup and it wasn't very sweet. Still a great matcha by itself. I'd definitely go back because I was eyeing the lavender matcha. Besides the lack of chocolate flavor and the wait time this is a nice coffee shop and definitely worth visiting.

Rating: 7.8/10…read more Located inside the Lakeside Mall, this place was convenient. This place had been hyped up by a lot of coffee lovers I know so I was happy to try it. I got the Lavender Matcha with vanilla ($7) and it was good, I did want a bit more intensity of flavor but not bad at all. The reason for points off is that the employee was the only one working and the line was long. She was knocking orders out well but she definitely needed assistance.

I ordered your ube cake as a PURE Filipino , I can assure you that the "ube" cake, ain't no ube…read more Its some knock off trashy ass taro from temu, Im guessing its watered down 95% water and the other 5 as ube cuz it looks pale ASF. Im pretty sure its actually purple food coloring and not actual ube, the only reason why I'm not placing a 1 star is because the first time I bought a cake from this place, it was actually good (some coffee cake). This bakery made decent cakes till I tried YOUR UBE CAKE. If you want to copy trends and mix asian culture into your goods, then DO IT PROPERLY, or at least research on how to make ube. Try making ube jam instead and place it in the cake, that would taste WAY better. Also the yellow icy part inside the cake would've been delightful if it was cheese and not some random yellow piss ice. Ube is commonly topped with cheese, this bakery really missed the opportunity to actually be culturally on point. So much for Ube getting mainstream if none of these businesses get it right anyway. They always mess up asian cuisines and culture by making their "own version". Dont disrespect our ube broski (I can feel/taste the ube on the paste but it just isnt enough, it needs more) (update, i take it back. Tried it in the morning where it wasn't as cold. It was actually soft and spongy, the ube taste was stronger and it was quite delectable. Keep up the good work, i see room for improvement though)

Delicious! Everything is tried was excellent…read more They are individually packaged with makes it super easy to choose what you like, and prices aren't bad at all either. I picked: a large fluffy maple roll. The outside reminded me of a croissant in the best way with some mild maple sweetness and the inside was moist, pillowy, and rich. I heated it up in the oven next day which made it even better. A square coconut roll... crisp and flaky on the outside with the most delightful sweet coconut cream inside and flaked almonds on top. This was my favorite. Will get multiple next time. And a pair of taro rolls. These I was most excited for as I love taro, and they weren't bad at all, but were probably my least favorite of the 3, purely because they had an eggy aftertaste. They weren't overly sweet with a nice smooth taro filling. I also tried a taro milk tea with soy milk. These normally include lavender too, but I asked for mine without. The flavor was off the charts good. Strangely it was nothing like the usual taro drinks I've tried and I couldn't place what I was tasting, but it was rich and creamy and so satisfying. Only thing that bummed me out was that I ordered boba and there wasn't any. :(

I found this place through socials. All the reels I saw looked at are sooo good!…read more I came here on a Friday around noon and had a little trouble finding it. It is attached to several businesses inside one big building, next to a gas station. It had cute exterior front door way, but it needs a bigger sign for a first timer. It is small inside, not a lot of seating, so you know you are mainly getting your yum yums to go. I walk in and - I assume - the owner greeted me with a big smile and asked if I had been there before. When I told her I had not, she gleefully explained the unqiue offerings her business has. This place has both bougie coffee and they sell bougie snoballs. They have so many options for coffee and snoballs, I love it! You can add condensed milk to your coffee, there are so many flavors including nectar and Dubai lattes, and don't get me started on the affogato options. You pick you ice cream; you pick your topping and drizzle (which can include condensed milk, mind you), and then you choose your pour - it does not have to be coffee - it can hot chocolate!! ohh! Such a neat concept and I only know of 3 places that do affogato. Drip Affogato Bar and Creole Creamery. I thoroughly enjoyed this place and I feel it is now well known, so I hope this review gets the word out there that yall need to try this place!

First of all the owner is so so sweet and accommodating. She took what could have been a regular coffee run to such a pleasant and positive experience. The New Orleans Iced Coffee with Chicory. Chicory is a root, that is very popular to get in coffee in New Orleans. First, I love the tiny ice cubes used in this coffee. Why doesn't every single coffee shop offer the tiny ice cubes? They keep your drink cold, while they don't take a ton of volume away from your coffee! I love the chicory flavor of this coffee! It's naturally nutty and a tiny bit chocolatey without any syrups. This area at Whole Foods has some yellow bar stools for seating options. If I was in the area I would keep an eye out for French Truck Coffee.
