WORSE NAIL SALON IVE EVER BEEN TO!!! After being there FOUR HOURS they told me they didn't have the supplies to do dip ombré and could only do ACRYLIC PINK & WHITE?!? Only had 1 type of pink and white that didn't match my skin tone. The only tech that did ombré kept letting ppl skip me in line as I sat there for FOUR HOURS. Last but not least CUT ME ON BOTH HANDS. Do NOTTT waste your time and money at this horrible place. Cherry on top? Nails didn't even last 1 week - their supplies are CHEAP. Lucky they even got $100 out of me for dip nails and gel pedi after I sat there and rotted for 4 HOURS?!? They wanted like 120 they need to be shut down they don't even have basic variety of colors and can only do acrylic most. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. Never going back. DO NOT COME HERE!! read more

very bad service owner Evan does not know how to talk to his customers, I was trying to get an overlay pink and white and the white tips did not look good when trying to get the lady to fix evan thought it would be great to argue with me over my nails while they are asking $80 and the white is all messed up I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE !! read more

As a walk in, I was in and out and they did a great job! A great price and great quality - definitely coming back!

I am struggling to understand how this place has any good reviews. I went in a few weeks ago and immediately noted how dirty the salon seemed to be. There were a lot of people getting services though so I figured I would give it a shot. Got a dip manicure for $50 - not cuticle cutting, gave me a square nail which I hated. Thickest dip layering you've ever seen. I wanted out of there so I left as soon as a could (service wasn't great - my nail tech took 3 phone called while doing my nails and cut my finger - wiped away my blood with her bare hands). Got home and noticed my nails were hurting. Stopped hurting after an hour or so and I went on with my life. Took the polish off and my nail beds are damaged. I would advise you to STAY AWAY!!! read more

I pass by Ruby nails every day and I'm thrilled that I finally gave them a shot. I unexpectedly needed to leave town and was unable to get into any of my normal nail salons at the last minute but they were able to fit me in right away! I unfortunately didn't catch the name of my nail tech but she was incredibly fast and gave me exactly what I asked for. I couldn't be happier with my nails and I'll absolutely be back. read more

Took a chance on this spot as they only do walk-ins, but I liked their pricing and I was so pleased- it truly was the best mani/pedi I've ever had. They may not be the most luxurious looking spot in East, or have the newest gear, but the nail artist I had didn't rush through or cut corners, adjusted things per my request, was meticulous in ways no other nail salon I've gone to has been. My nails look so good and I really hope they get good business. Thank you Ruby! read more

I waited two hours after being told 30 minutes and when I finally got to sit she was done in 10 minutes for one solid color and it was $50. She didn't touch my cuticles and did little to no prep. Usually I would walk out but I'm visiting and don't have time to get them fixed. My nails are so thin and the almond shape is uneven. If this is the style of service you're used to then that's wonderful. I will always prefer seeing a licensed nail tech/small business owner who takes the time and keeps appointments. read more

They did a great job on my daughters and my nails. $35 for French gel manicure and $30 for solid color. That includes the soak off. They are a no frills shop with no chatting among the patrons but it was fine since I was with my daughter. Linda did the French and Cathy did the solid. read more

Not the place I would take a group mani/pedi to but this is my go to place for my monthly dip and pedicure. It's more of a utilitarian nail salon. I usually request Lee but have had two other gals who have done a wonderful job. They offer refreshments and are sanitary. Plenty of dip colors. They always ask if I am happy with the service. Great cost for the service I receive. read more

I received the worst nails I've ever had in my life here. The staff is not friendly. I was not even offered anything to drink. No attention to detail was made when it came to the shape of my nails. All of my nails were uneven and polish was not applied well AT ALL. I sat for about an hour to wait to get my nails done and when I sat in the chair to get my nails done, I was out in 10 minutes. I immediately left and went to Posh Nail Spa and saw Tony. He fixed the horrible job this nail salon did to me. Do not waste your money here. Awful experience. I'll post a before and after read more

I've been here several times during the years and there are some excellent nail techsbusiness. However I keep getting one who is not so great and comes to sit next to you and work on you after smoking cigarettes, something to which I'm very allergic. Nor does she do a good job and I've watched the other clients refuse to allow her to work on them a second time. There's a lot of other competition in this part of town now and I will not return to Ruby Nails. also, I highly recommend that staff not smoke cigarettes between clients. it's less than five days later and my pedicure paint job looks bad, it didn't look good to begin with I requested deluxe pedicure but she did not provide that. read more

I have always had good experiences at Ruby Nails. They don't take reservations so on busy days, there is a wait. The girl who does eyebrows does a great job! Often there is a long wait for her as well. I would recommend this as a good, clean, standard place to get nails done, no frills. read more

Fine for a regular mani, but don't go in asking for designs. I was cut on one hand and my gel mani was uneven and peeled one week post.

I hate writing negative reviews, but people need to be warned off coming here!! I gave this place a shot and really wish I hadn't. I walked into the salon and couldn't believe how dirty it was - nail clippings everywhere, trash in the waiting area, floor hadn't been cleaned in who knows how long. I saw a lot of other people having their nails done so I decided to stay. I got a dip manicure which was very affordable and was initially okay with the results. I got home and noticed I was having pain in a few of my nails - I was worried but the pain resolved quickly so I moved along with my night. I just took the dip off (2 weeks later) and now know why I was having pain - whatever they put on my nails ate into my nail beds and now my nail beds are damaged. To anyone reading this I would say BEWARE!!! Go literally anywhere else, I have never been to a worse nail salon. :( read more

Ok - this is the ONLY review you need to read. 1. Salon is filthy & no I don't mean "dirty" I mean lazy dirty. Nail polish bottles all over the place, nail dust, hair, empty candy wrappers, dirt, grime. This place wouldn't pass a health inspection if it was at random that's for sure 2. Nail job was sloppy AF. And expensive AF. $30?!? 3. Gel is ALREADY peeling and it's been 5 minutes. I've never had a gel not set all the way - this is astonishing. Seriously, just don't go here. I went in good faith that MAYBE it would be ok, I don't been "frills" but this is over the top shite. read more

Awesome place! Love the people and love the prices! Best gel nails EVER! It's not a day spa... So don't expect the extra crap and silly soothing background Music ;-)) and bamboo floors, etc...but they are quick, clean, sweet and best of all cheap!! Oh, they have brand new massage chairs --- so worth it! Plus it's by far the best pedi/mani I've ever gotten in Nashville and I've been all around. The "fancy" places just put on a good show and barely get your cuticles cut down or barely scrub yer nasty feet. These people get the job done RIGHT! And for the right price! read more

I come about twice a month for gel manicures and a brow arch. No bells or whistles, just quality service at very affordable prices. There will be no state of the art set up, sounds of the ocean, or dim lighting. You will encounter children running and crying and an occasional loud conversations. If you're looking for a "spa ambience" you may want to take I 40 to Green Hills. If you are satisfied with good service in a timely manner, take your business to Ruby Nails. read more

I was not expecting much from the reviews, but she did a really nice job on my nails. Apparently it's hit or miss here. It was inexpensive, even with the extra dollar they charge you if you pay by credit card. They were rude in that the staff spoke to each other and not the clients the whole time, and not in English. But I hate having to make small talk, so I actually preferred that. I would go back if I lived here. read more

Please come here if you want super grumpy old nail techs at 10:30 am. They open at 10, you'll be thrilled.. Hey, I get it it's a lot of work. I would expect this kind of attitude on a Friday at 5 pm... WHATEVER. I had my first full set of acrylic nails after years of not having them, and the guy couldn't care less what he was doing. He got acrylic all around my nail bed, he DIDNT even BOTHER to shave the buildup under the nail either, or anywhere for that matter. When I nicely asked him can you clean this up for me a little and straighten all the nails out bc everyone of them was crooked.. he got upset and gave me to someone else. Still looks like crap. The grandma who I was assigned to, maybe out of spite, didn't straighten all of my nails out they're crooked. And snarled at me when I pointed this out to her. Not nice people. You can do better. read more

Excuse me. This is dip. Not acrylic. It's a whale. It's a slice of cheese cake. It has a blow hole. Two hours and 75 coats of shit later, absurd. They are mean, unprofessional, and talk on the phone. No process is streamlined. Every person does everything differently. Six different people worked on my nails, never with an explanation as to why they were switching. Lots of yelling in other languages to each other right in your face. Your sanity isn't worth the convenience or whatever other reason you might go there. read more

I am a regular. The dip colors need updating. The manicurists are all great. I love to come on a weekday after work and have a cool beverage while I'm in the chair. It's fairly relaxing as long as they aren't super busy. If they are busy the service is less than desired. read more

I did not have the greatest experience but my roommate had an amazing experience so I think it really depends on who your technician is that day. I was a little disappointed because I think there was some miscommunication and apparently I only received a gel polish change instead of a gel mani. There's a lot of empty space between the polish and my cuticle and I'm sure it'll look a bit awful when it starts to grow out. Otherwise the experience was pleasant enough. I might give it another chance but I guess I'll try to be clearer when I communicate what I want. read more

We are still outside waiting to get in because the lady claims she doesn't want to get wet. They open at 10am this is ridiculous

It's a basic, no frills nail salon. You can't beat a $20 pedicure! I've never had any disasters or big issues here and I have been going about once a month for over two years. It's dingy in there but whatever. A good deep cleaning and a paint job would do wonders but they're packed so clearly it doesn't matter! If you want to go on Saturday, go early otherwise there will be an hour+ wait. read more

There were quite a few people in there so they were rushing through the services. My pedicure was $25, they charge $1 for a card payment and I tipped $4. My nail polish was not properly applied and I had to tell her how to do it. She also did not clean properly under my toenails or scrub my feet like many other places have. The customer service was even worse; the only one good thing was a drink offer. I will not return and do not recommend it. read more

I went in last month for a pedicure and remembered, as I received a very cheep and 1/2 a** service, why I had not been there in a long time. I am re-couping from a fractured hip and was very clear " I really needed a good foot rub" Also I said it had been 3 months since I could reach or bend & really exfoliate. I got neither. Another lady sat beside me and got both. Needless to say I did not feel an obligation to tip. (TIPS = to insure prompt service) Hopefully I will find a better salon. read more

Lordy, no appts, just show up and be prepared to wait and wait and wait, my last trip here was and hour and a half wait before I got my feet wet then another half hour Pedicures are perfunctory, acrylic fill ins pretty good and all very reasonably priced. Nothing fancy, but I needed to rave about my amazing gel manicure that lasted 3 weeks! It could have even been longer if my nails didn't grow out. I will say that service is not quick, but the job is always well done. This is my nail place, no where around has proven to be as good. read more

I went there because I have been looking in the area for a salon that makes me happy. Lucked up on this shop. It's nothing special or fancy but you get quality nails. The gel was very pretty and my tech, Hannah, didn't rush to get me in and out(even though there were lots of people waiting). She did use latex gloves with my pedi(which I HATE, but I've grown accustomed to it)! Decided to get my brows waxed, even tho I was a bit skeptical but they turned out nice, as well. I don't usually leave poor reviews but my toes really hurts so I'm going to say something. Polish is bubbly and one of my toes hurt so. Just don't go. I paid extra for a longer massage and that never happened. The polish selection is not large. If you're looking for something cheap and want to gamble, give it a try.
