The owner Tondelia was very argumentative and told me she "don't do refunds" even though her website nor her stated that. I canceled my membership and her claws came out! She illegal withheld my money from me. I WOULDN'T DO BUSINESS HERE AND I DON'T RECOMMEND OTHERS TO DO BUSINESS HERE EITHER. I highly recommend the owner takes a customer relations and conflict resolution course ASAP! Again, Tondelia is argumentative, unprofessional, controlling, and rude!!! The space itself is beautiful and relaxing, but the service is mediocre. My polish has come off within days of receiving service; both gel and regular polish. read more

Okay, I think this is my first 1 star review but I booked this for a bridal party and we were pretty disappointed. I booked the mobile bus 3 months in advance for 8 girls and checked a few services as options. I paid my deposit and asked if we could just figure out the total/pay once they were onsite and everyone decided what they wanted, I was told via e-mail that was fine. I also booked this for 1 PM on a Saturday. Friday evening the night we get into Nashville I get an e-mail asking what address they should come to at 1:30 PM. I respond with the address but think that's odd because I filled out a Google form with the time (which they got wrong and never responded when I tried to confirm that it was actually booked for 1 PM), the address, and multiple services checked. They show up without the bus.........at 1:30 PM and we are floored. I believe the owner insisted that I did not book the bus, even after I pulled up my e-mail confirmation that showed I booked the bus. She then tells me that we can only get the most basic manicure, even though I'd selected multiple manicure options and believed we'd be able to choose whatever service we wanted as long as we were willing to pay for that. Multiple girls wanted a french manicure but that could not be accommodated. They did not even have nail clippers (I had a broken nail and wanted mine trimmed and filed). So my nails were filed about a quarter inch in lieu of a nail clipper. My nails were not shaped, some are round, some are square and some are uneven, she simply smoothed the nail. They don't soak your cuticles, the massage is short and overall it was a few hundred dollars for our party to get our nails painted, it didn't quite qualify as a manicure. Due to the fact that they came 30 minutes after our appointment time with no bus and one nail technician arrived separately after the owner.....I think they lost/forgot about our reservation until the night before. They removed the travel fee/minimum and we paid $200 for 6 girls (our bride didn't even decide to get her nails done) to basically get their nails painted. We were bummed because this was something we planned so far ahead of time and were really excited about. read more

Wow! Yesterday, I had a relaxing, refreshing pedicure with Tondelia. She is terrific! I couldn't find a babysitter for my son, but I really needed a break so I booked an appointment with Polish Nail Concierge and I'm so glad I did. It was perfect. Tondelia arrived a few minutes early, was very professional, organized, skilled and efficient and did a wonderful job pampering me and my feet. I'm already looking forward to my next pedicure, but she did such a great job I won't need one for a long time. I highly recommend Tondelia. Well...I had a groupon (old faithful trap it seems these days LOL)...I went here for the shellac and got a French. Fine...so, I thought it looked terribly unprofessional. The owner said that shellac does not work well with French. That is fine, but I expect you to tell me this before we are half way through the service:( I was late for my appointment because I got lost, so I really can't comment on the manicure (I skipped and just got my nails filed and polished). However after 5 days, 2 of my nails had already chipped:(. Part of me would've returned to have them redone...but then, I would rather just go to my own salon and get them done:-l. I am a huge fan of being a fan of myself. So as the President of my own fan club, I like to pamper myself from time to time. I was looking for a place that was fast and close to my job. I found this place on line and it was in a price range, the website outlined everything I needed to know about the services, and the place was pretty easy to find. It's not the Ritz. It's in an older office suite building with tons of other businesses. It was easy to make an appointment and it is run by the owner. one chair which is wonderful! She was very personable and did the most amazing job! I am going back and I would recommend it if you need a regular break from being a stressed grownup and you don't want to have to rob banks to look nice. Convenient location but that was the only thing going for Polish. I had a shellac done and felt like I was in a closet getting a manicure. Tondelia kept getting the reds confused and I have one finger that has glitter in the red while the other nine fingers are the red I picked out (glitterless). There are bumps in the shellac and she didn't paint the whole nail (the sides on a few nails are lacking color). The hand massage was a minute hand rub and the exfoliation was me using a scrub in the sink. As much as I love to support east nash businesses I will keep going to west nashville to get my nails done. read more

Tondelia is absolutely astounding when it comes to customer care, sanitation, and giving me the latest, trendiest nails! She is always up to par on what the "in" colors and designs are for the season. Unlike many non-English speaking manicurist, it is nice to know that I can communicate effectively with her and come out feeling pleased each and every time. Customer service does not exist at this Studio. I purchased a Living Social Deal for a pedicure and went to the website to check it out. I called the studio to make an appointment. The owner answered the phone and told me I could go online to make an appointment, even though I was speaking to her at the time. And she sounded irritated that I called, but maybe she was having a bad day. I went to Style Seat, the service used to book appointments; this service is set up so that the times available for appointments are highlighted and you can ONLY select those times. I booked my appointment and started getting excited about my pampering! The next day I received an email telling me my appointment had been changed to an hour later, which I could not do. No phone call, just moved the appointment. When I called the studio to ask about it, the owner told me she's not even open until 10 so she didn't know how I could have booked it for 9 (um...because Style Seat had that time available) and she did not change any appointments so she didn't know what I was talking about - but I definitely could not come in at 9:00. And, again, she sounded irritated with me. Needless to say, I cancelled the appointment (online, of course) and asked for a refund from Living Social. I'm glad others have had a good experience, but I found the owner to be rude, dismissive, and not interested in providing any service to the customer. Perhaps she's only like this for people who purchase deals - but then she should stop putting her services on those sites. read more

I cannot say how good or not good of a job Tondelia does because I was never allowed the opportunity to find out. My husband gifted me a living social deal for a pedicure for mother's day. I just had a baby and was very excited to have some me time. I called the phone number provided and left a message. My phone call was never returned. I then searched the internet and found an email address. I emailed and once again, no response. I searched some more and found a way to make an online appointment. There were very few options of times but I found one that worked for me about 3 weeks out. For the past week, I have been so excited about getting a pedicure. Well, today (a day before my appointment), I receive a text message that says my appointment is cancelled tomorrow and to contact living social for a refund. I had been frustrated that I had to search around to get an appointment but then to cancel the day before through text and to not even offer me another convenient time, I feel is extremely unprofessional. read more

I feel like I've tried just about everywhere, and Tondelia is without a doubt the most professional, skilled, educated, and detail-oriented nail technician you will find in this city. Unlike so many others, she has spent a great deal of time researching her products and provides a well-curated selection of only the highest quality polishes. She spent a good deal of time considering which colors would be best for me and provided me with some really great suggestions-- I loved that I ended up with a color I probably wouldn't have chosen on my own but which is now one of my new favorites. I also appreciated that all of her equipment was top of the line, and that she is so well educated on everything she does. You can't go wrong here -- don't waste your time at Nail Bar or the many other overpriced strip mall salons that populate this city, if you're looking for quality, you need look no further than Tondelia. read more
