I live in Atlanta Georgia and visited Angels Nail shop on February 22 about 3 PM. I thought it would be a great experience since a former colleague was there getting a Mani + Pedi. She's a frequent flyer there and loves it. However, I got a manicure with a clear coat of polish. Before I left, I inspected my nails and observed the polish was white around the edges. After reporting this, the nail tech took a brush and cleaned up around the edges with some solution! I guess acetone. After returning to my hotel, I noticed the polish was lifting around the edges of all of my nails, except one. So today I went back to the nail shop and showed it to some feisty lady. I guess she's the owner. At first, the feisty lady was pleasant and offered water to the 8 waiting customers. After she talked to the nail tech, who did my nails, she became very abrupt, aggressive, talked over me, and told me their topcoat would only last no more than two days. I informed her that it didn't last until whilevibwascinsidcthevshop! Afterwards I told her that in Atlanta I get my nails done every two weeks and when I came in her shop the topcoat was still on from my last visit. She is very rude and VERY unprofessional The customers were looking around as we went back and forth. It appears that she's gotten too comfortable in her position where she is. Several people waited for an hour for Service. I was happy that an older lady took her time to remove the peeling clear coat and applied new! it did not turn white around the edges this time! I WILL NEVER go back to this Low Class Overpriced nail shop. read more

Well another bite the dust... what a disappointment. I hate writing this type of reviews but I hope it helps someone avoid or be ready on what to expect and the business owner to do better business. You are in the service industry so being customer oriented is a very important key for success. I don't think anyone likes to pay for something and not get their moneys worth. I went on a Tuesday and got a dip powder set and it was beautiful, I was treated really nice by the owner(Lin or Lili, lest just say L). We joked, we talk about our kids, I told her about the previous set I got (her son Danny did them) and how the gel got messed up and cracked and how I couldn't come because sooner because I was given birth the same week I got them done. She was nice about it and said "trust me I have 30 years experience, if something wrong, come back and I fix for you" well my nails messed up and I went back as she said, she wasn't there when I went so I came back the next day for her to pushed me to some other tech (her daughter-in-law) and start talking in Vietnamese ( they speak English!). They treated me very poorly. A lady came and said she wanted a mani-pedi and didn't have time so they stop working on me and started doing this other lady's nails, and being very rude to me, like wow people. It's not my fault you use low quality products to save a buck! They didn't give me the right color either (good thing they are on the light side) and the nails look like a 4 year old made them with play-doh and glued them on me. They are bumping and out of shape (picture included). Horrible "fix"... Horrible treatment if you go to get something fix, like they can't believe something went wrong and they made a mistake or their crap don't stink! So angry at businesses that treat this type of mistakes the wrong way. I wasn't even angry or rude to them. I'll stop now, you get my point. Bad, bad business. I want to preface this by saying that I rarely post reviews. But I hope this helps someone else. Okay so I'm giving two stars solely on the fact that they are nice. The place looks run down and dirty, their cleanliness practices aren't the best and over all the results don't look professional in my opinion. I went in for a pedi, it was Sunday so no salon in the area was open except for this one. I got a regular pedicure with gel nail polish... this was $70!!!! I'm from Miami so I am used to overpriced services but for the quality of the products, the service, and the experience it was not worth it. But worst of all was the cleaning practices... THEY RE USE NAIL FILES AND PUMICE STONES!!!! I have never seen that in my life! I asked her to please get a use nail file and she tried to tell me it was new but I could clearly see the marks on the file and I had seen her do the pedicure for the lady next to me prior and not even cleaning the file... she did get a new file for me which is the only reason I stayed but they don't even use liners for their plastic jet tubs and barely clean them after... anyways I asked for funny bunny and she ended up doing flat white... I asked her "do you not have funny bunny" and she said this is funny bunny. I didn't want to be fussy so I just let it go but it most definitely was not funny bunny and certainly not OPI. My friends and I were trying to kill some time and decided to get our nails done. We were just in town for a visit and enjoyed spending time at Angel Nails. My technician was very friendly and talkative. It was great carrying on with her. She laughed and joked with my friends like she was apart of our group. I started with a gel pedicure that felt great but when I went for my manicure the technician was buffering so hard that she cut my cuticle. In the politest way possible I asked her to take it easy but she still ended up breaking the skin. What would have been an overall great experience was ruined in that moment. read more

This nail salon is so good, I drive almost 30 minutes to get my nails done here. The first thing that drew me here was the fact that they can do dip polish. On top of that, they also have the temperature changing polish. ON TOP OF THAT, they also have CHROME polish. These things alone will make me forever committed to Angel Nails. I also got my eyebrows waxed the last time I went (I'm usually a threader but the place I've gone to for years mysteriously disappeared..sigh) and they did an amazing job for just $12! I used to love this nail place but I went in today for a basic manicure and pedicure, the gal was pulling and jerking like she was mad at someone. I don't mind paying for a deluxe pedicure because I love relaxing and getting my feet and legs massaged but when I say literally the stone massage was 20 seconds per leg with lukewarm stones, I wish I would not have gotten the deluxe pedicure... and when I asked for pink and white fingernail polish over my manicure and one of the nails messed up, instead of fixing it, she just put a other clear coat on which made it thick and impossible to dry completely.... so $80 later and 2 messed up nails, I am just taking the polish off and looking for another nail place.... and no, I don't mind paying more, as long as I am not made to feel like I am taking someone's seat and my nails look normal. read more

I didn't have much time and found angels nails via a Google search. They welcomed me quickly and while there was very little conversation the technician did a good job soaking off all gel polish and giving me a quick but not quite thorough manicure. As I dried my nails underneath their fans I accidentally touched one nail and messed up my polish after about eight minutes. The technician told me no less than three times that I shouldn't be touching my nails after I repeatedly told her it was an accident and apologized. I felt quite chastised and I believe it was very unnecessary. I ended up leaving with one nail with no polish on it because she was having such difficulty finding the polish she had just used on all of my nails. It wasn't a bad experience until I accidentally messed up my polish but I will not be back. read more

Service was awful they are not kind and so not care much about who they serve. Totally over priced ($8 to fix one dip nail) i over heard others be very surprised when they got charged $80-$100 for a set of nails (after the service was done) when the board had a different price. This establishment has no idea how to run a business. I called last Wednesday 12/1 and made an appointment for tonight, 12/7 WITH the owner who is the only employee equipped to do hard builder gel. I should've known there was going to be a problem when I made the appointment - the owner or whoever the hell I was speaking to could barely speak English and was rushing me through the call - not even really asking me for my information. I strictly pointed out how I needed to be booked with the owner because she herself told me that she is the only one who does the technique I like and that from now on I was to see her. Her words, not mine. I arrive at the salon tonight to see her station completely cleaned off, chair pushed in, with her nowhere in sight. I already knew my fate. I tell the gentleman who greeted me I have an appointment to which he and the other two employees looked stunned but tried to play it off, not really selling it. Sure enough, 5 minutes later I get the dreaded "I can take you over here" from another disheveled gentleman... I firmly state that I made my appointment with the owner and point to her chair. I'm told that she left early because she "wasn't feeling well". And I'm supposed to give a shit, why? Then I get the predictable, sorry excuse of a "we can still take you, we do gel color too!" I follow with an "oh sweet, so you CAN do hard gel after all"?! "Oh no sorry, not that kind of gel". My point EXACTLY. The one gentleman was very apologetic in sticking to his story about how the owner left 30 minutes prior to my appointment because she had a headache (poor baby, NOT). Spare me. She has a cell phone - I saw her use it 100 times during my last appointment - she could've used that to call me and inform me that she bailed on my appointment and now I'll just have to deal with the fact that my nails are hanging on for dear life. But please, tend to your headache. Oh well, their loss - not mine. Nail salons are a dime a dozen in the vicinity and I won't miss being overcharged - $90 for a freaking basic set with red polish. Never, ever again. I was asked to return tomorrow with a "promise" that I can walk in whenever I want and they'll "make sure" she's present but I'd rather walk bare footed on broken glass than ever think of giving this business another cent. read more

I found this nail salon in Yelp when I was trying to find a place close to the airport. I'd rather get my nails done while waiting to pick up family then sit in the cell phone lot. This place for the bill. They got me right in and we're super nice. Did a very good job and gave me exactly what I asked for. I had powder done and a full manicure.
