The staff were very friendly, however the process took a very long time, almost four hours, and I paid almost 150 with tip. I asked for their more luxurious manicure experience and had some add ons so I can understand a higher price and a longer service time, but having gotten gel nails in the past with these add ons the price is borderline ridiculous. I also realized after the service that I did not see evidence of cleaning the tools or drill bits between myself or prior clients, which is very concerning from a health/hygiene perspective. Edit 2/9: After posting my review, the salon responded publicly. I want to clarify a few things for accuracy: there was some snowfall/flurries on the day of my visit 1/30/26 , but the big snowstorm that affected power had happened about a week prior. By the time I left the salon, the snow had stopped and what had fallen had already melted. During my visit in the middle of the afternoon, the technicians wore jackets for a significant portion of the time. We even talked about being cold, and I was also cold, so it seemed to me that they were simply trying to stay warm. The explanation that they were "preparing to close" doesn't match what I observed. I was also surprised that security footage was reviewed specifically in response to my review, especially since other reviews have not received individual responses. Feedback can be addressed constructively without needing to investigate a single client. My review reflects my personal experience regarding the duration, value, comfort, and general practices during the visit. I'm sharing this update so future clients can see both my experience and how the business chose to respond.

They have a good selection of colors to pick from. They also have a few options for types of pedicures. Alex did my pedicure and he was great until the polish application. I don't use gel on my toes and it never fails when they recommend it the polish is sloppy and it messes up. If they don't mention it the polish never is a problem. So they mentioned it. He didn't make sure to clean the nails with alcohol correctly and it didn't dry completely even under the drying machine so I had to go back to fix it. A lady came and repainted my nails that had gotten messy but they didn't dry correctly again, so I have $50 with of messy toes ... at least the color is pretty. I won't come back but you try it and see.

I asked for babylights through the transition part of my hair, a silver gloss, and a layered haircut. After 4 hours and this putrid color, the stylist hadn't even gotten to the cut yet. I left without the cut or blow-dry/style. Anyone who has ever gone through the process of trying to grow color out of hair knows this isn't just about getting a one time bad color. Even if I was refunded my money, I'd still need the fix for the immediate hair plus 2 years of ongoing maintenance color. This is literally a cost to me of over $1k plus the hours and hours I will have to commit to it again. My hair feels like straw, when it was very healthy going in. Plus, there's just the fact that I'm old. 2 years is significant. I am furious. More so at the management than the stylist. This was her first day...part of the reason for 4 hours. She had to continually leave me to go consult with others. Somebody that new, that timid, and with that many questions needed someone with her, assisting. I deserved that. She deserved that. However, this humble Husband and Wife team at Rainbow Nails did an absolutely beautiful job for what I call a very reasonable price considering it's Ombré and I had jewelry put on. He suggested I not get a manicure since powder routine basically covers most of it. His suggestion saved me money. I said I did not want a thick coat because I don't want it to look unnatural. He was gentle and listened. I truly enjoyed the service and the atmosphere was calming.
