Small and quaint business I went a few weeks ago to get my nails done. I needed a refill acrylic with gel polish, and my toes repainted to match. Within one day, the nail polish was lifting on my toes and my gel was peeling. The owner seems cool. Prices are fair. read more

I walked in to get a dip manicure. Everyone was very friendly - I felt like they were eager to be welcoming and get to know me. The place seems a bit disorganized and not as clean as my regular spot, but the lady is a great job on my nails. They looked great and have lasted 3 weeks. They could probably go another several days, but with my nail growth, I'm ready to get a new set and color for summer. Very reasonably priced as well. So I am new to Nashville area and needed some nail care especially my fingers. I was a walk in and found on Yelp. Very friendly when I walked in and said yes to taking me this morning. They were already hopping with customers and had me seated and ready to go in less then a 3 minutes of saying what I needed. The prices are comparable for dip and spa pedicure so that is nice. The quality to detail on my manicure was great since I can't even tell you the help my cuticles needed. He did a great job and then handed me over to the chairs for my spa pedicure. I finally found my nail spa after so many bad experience. I called as a walk in and they took me around 5:45pm tonight. They were so nice and it seemed that all the customers were repeat customers. The gentleman who did my nails, I wish I knew his name, but he was did exactly what I wanted. I wanted short oval nails and it seems techs can't get that right or they are extremely thick. Took mom to TMT Nails for her birthday. She got dip nails and the deluxe spa pedicure which had a paraffin wax. I got the signature spa pedicure and Judy was awesome! The Deluxe Pedicure was terrific and "Tee" was very patient and was open to describing the different levels of pedicures as she was giving me the one I selected. The smell of polish and/or remover was present but not overwhelming. The massage chair was well worth the experience. The rest of the staff were very happy and welcoming. if I could give ZERO STARS I WOULD! This is one of the worst nail places I've ever been to in my life. My best friend and I were invited to a nail day by one of her in-home patients who is wheelchair/bedridden. Her wheelchair is notarized, but her legs are in a constant suspension state. My best friend lives directly across the road from TMT Nails & Spa and we figured we'd walk across the road so that she didn't have to have the hassle of getting in a van and she could literally ride in her wheelchair across the street. We had an appointment for 3 ACRYLIC overlays and 3 pedicures. Immediately upon entering, we were asked if our friend in a wheelchair wanted a polish change, and we quickly stated that we had an appointment for pedis and tips w/acrylic overlays. The woman, who I have circled in the photo, first says they can't accommodate her for a pedicure. Okay, that's no problem. But we're not offered another solution. Not a dry pedicure, not a warm pedicure, not even a spray and pedi. NOTHING! Then she says that she can only receive polish. Okay, fine. She then proceeds to say no one in the shop OUT OF THE 8 techs in there can do acrylic. So I proceed to ask why they would make an appointment if nobody can do acrylic. We're then told it's not that they can't do acrylic, there's only one person who does them, whose name is Judy. My friend has been serviced by Judy several times, and she says, "oh, your niece?" Upon recognition, the woman says, "yes, you know her. I try to accommodate everybody." Yet we haven't been offered a solution of accommodation. Okay! I proceed to ask her who our friend in a wheelchair spoke to. She said there was no way of knowing, and "whoever" she spoke to must have been mistaken. Okay... So then I ask, if there's no one to do acrylics, if nobody does acrylics, or if there's no one available. She then says everybody is booked for the day. Then wth would you book an appt for acrylics if nobody can do them?! The story changed so many times, and as I continued to ask questions the woman turned her back to me and walked away. So, if they don't service disabled persons OR BLACK PEOPLE they need to just say that, and I hate to bring race into it, but it seems like as soon as we became "difficult" we were turned away from service pretty much, because now nobody even does acrylics EVEN THOUGH, there was a younger girl beside her GETTING ACRYLIC COFFIN NAILS, and we weren't so much as asked if we wanted dip powder. NOT THAT WE DO! But still! Then they try to stop our friend from leaving the shop because of her toes not being dry but at this point we're ready to EFFING GO! And the tech tries to tell our friend that she can't go outside and get us to get us to leave. Not to mention, instead of directly asking our friend who yes, is in a wheel chair but is also mentally sound, what color "she" wants? I said, "she can choose for herself." I say all of this to say I'LL NEVER RETURN TO THIS SHOP, I'LL NEVER GIVE THEM ANOTHER DOLLAR FROM MY COIN PURSE BABY! And I hope you don't either. read more

This is my favorite neighborhood nail salon! They do great work and are ALWAYS friendly and helpful.

Employees are wonderful and polite, prices are great, nothing too fancy and they actually massage your feet and legs for longer than 2 minutes! I'm from out of town but I would definitely go again! Edit: I come here every time I'm in Nashville! Best nail place around. My only complaint is that they don't have enough 'regular' polish selections. Most of them are almost empty and dried out. I do believe they have more gel and powder selections. read more

I love this salon. All the technicians are extremely nice and do an excellent job. Prices are also reasonable! They are comparable to nearby salons but this was the third location I tried when I moved to Hermitage and I won't change now. Other salons were very rushed or dirty or unfamiliar to dip powder that I've been getting for about 2.5 years now. I typically do a dip powder manicure ($40) and a signature pedicure ($35). My dip powder typically lasts me about 4 weeks without cracking, peeling, lifting or going dull. I constantly get compliments on my nails when I travel and it's all due to this salon! Highly recommend TMT to anyone looking for a great relaxing pedicure and a lasting manicure. read more

Wonderful first time visit I will absolutely be going back, very friendly, they greet you as soon as you walk in they said my wait time would be 40 min ( I went mid day Saturday of course they are busy!) but I only waited about 20 minutes and they started soaking off my precious polish while I waited so it was a smart use of time.
