We got a standard manicure at $35 each. My manicurist was Ricky Nguyen and I thought he did a great job with my nails. The lady who did my mom's nails did not do a good job and the polish did not last as long as my polish. This is the reason why this review is 4 stars and not 5. The photos included are my nails and after over a week of service still looking good. Yes, the polish is starting to come off but overall have lasted a good amount of time. I am giving 3 stars because my other 2 experiences were great. My nails tend not to like gel and polish and even professional sets can peel off my nails. I try to offset this with builder gel, my last set the builder came off and I was letting my nails rest and grow out. The thin part all finally grew out and I decided to treat myself got Christmas. These are my natural nails no product and he started from the get go with an e file. I could feel the heat and it burned. The builder gel also burned like hell like I'm pretty tough but it was legitimately painful. After he took the e file again and it burned and he cut me to the point of bleeding on a couple fingers. He knew too because I was grimacing the entire time and even said something a couple times. He also got gel and cured it on my fingers. Shouldn't get gel on the skin people develop severe allergies that way and I am pretty prone with MCAS. I told the guy upfront and I was still charged full price $95. Unfortunately I'm not the type to make a scene and just paid it and left. But I will let people know and at least avoid going back to that tech. [[HIGHLIGHT]]His name was Lee.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Today (the day after) my nails themselves are very tender and I'm noticing even more places where he knicked my skin. This is irreparable I'm going to have to let this grow out. My cuticles are pretty itchy too. I work in surgery scrubbing with avagard is going to suck (iykyk). Also we're allowed gel/polish without chips to our natural nails/keep them short. Extremely frustrating for someone who uses their hands for a job, plus $95 is nothing to scoff about in this economy. read more

I moved to Nashville back in October and my neighbor recommended I come here to get my nails done. I am so glad she did. I really love this place. They always have great service good people and reasonable pricing. Everything is always clean and the music is great and TVs are always running. They also have someone who can wax your eyebrows who does a great job!! I now try and go back every few weeks to get my nails done, but love this place and highly recommend. I have gone as a walk-in, as well as made appointments, and never been disappointed. Only thing I'll say to be careful of the parking lot they can get super chaotic during the weekend so if you're getting your nails done there, just plan accordingly but that has nothing to do with the place itself. My first impression of Luxe Nails was pretty good. Unfortunately, my dip nails chipped within 4 days. I have been getting dip manicures for over a year and have never had them chip on me before, even after 5 weeks. I was able to get my nails fixed for free. I went to Luxe Nails with my friend Koty. We just walked in so I was happy that there was no wait or seemed like maybe it would only be a short wait. I got a gel manicure and the woman doing mine did a great, thorough job cleaning up my nails. The Polish went on well but after looking at my nails they aren't the best polish I've ever had in my life and for $66 I definitely expected better but I won't knock them for that because I'm positive they would have fixed it for me but I get my nails done often so they will only look like this for a short while. They did a wonderful job on Koty's nails. He just had them cleaned up and buffed and they were so shiny! I was so impressed with his nails. If I'm in the area again, I would stop in again. I came here on a recommendation from my apartment leasing agent and one of my students. They were quite busy on a Monday night at 6 pm, but I didn't mind waiting as I had made an appointment only three hours beforehand. I had decided to get a full set of acrylics as I'm attending a party this weekend. I had two technicians beforehand as they were so busy, and finally had Kelly as my technician. I've had my nails done several times, but I would still consider myself a n00b. I asked Kelly what fill in meant, and whether I needed to get my tips removed. She kindly and patiently answered my questions. I was so grateful as I never knew the difference. Also, my nail inspiration was intricate as it called for 10 different nail colors. Kelly was amazing. She borrowed my phone and diligently looked for each color. She even provided other options and edited one nail when the color didn't reflect what the picture had. I was amazed by her focus and determination with achieving my nail inspiration. She perfected it! I also made my next appointment for two and a half weeks from now with Kelly! A friend recommended this place so I had to try out! I called same day to make an appointment and they had a lot of availability! I showed up 20 minutes early to my appointment and the happily started on my nails early! One thing I didn't love is the parking situation. Because of the area I had to park and walk about 5 minutes. Parking in Hillsboro Village can be tough because they will ticket and limited spaces. The lady who did my dip manicure was sweet. I like to stop by luxe nails when I'm passing by for a quick manicure. Was shocked to see that their basic manicure, without any polish or gel removal, is now $30. By the time you finish a 20 minute service you're out $36. That's insane. The average nail place charges $20 and some get away with $25 but I have never in my life seen a $30 standard manicure, even in more expensive cities. The service is fantastic but not worth the extra money. There's too many decent nail salons in the area to justify the price increase and I'll be visiting their competition now. read more

Well, let me start off by saying the feminine aesthetic in this place is poppin. It is so cute, just off the vibe alone I would choose this place first for a girls day. You do have to pay for parking unless you find parking on the street which is HIGHLY unlikely. The parking is first hour and a half free but this place is usually busy so your time will go past this time easily. Jane is amazing. She did my fill so fast and did exactly what I asked for. BUT my second time back to get a polish change on my toes and a polish change and fix on my nails I felt that I had been scammed. A lot of mail shops I feel are typically greedy and I was hoping this one wasn't going to fall under this category but I was literally charged for every single thing they did to my nails. I have never in my life been charged for a gel take off by the technician taking a drill to my nail and it coming right off. I have been charged if the gel polish had to be soaked off with a cotton ball and foil wrapped around but 10 dollars for you to take a drill to my nail that you were already going to do regardless!!! This pissed me off. So already 10 for "gel removal" then I had two acrylic toes I believe was $10-$15 a nail. Then gel polish was $20 extra believe so at this point I should've just got a damn pedicure. I was also charged again for "gel removal" on my nails she literally took a drill to my nail. And extra for the broken nail and gel polish. My total was well over 100 dollars when I left. I am not cheap and I have spent well over 100 dollars for nail services but I damn sure didn't get two polish changes and a fix. I will not be back unless it is for Jane and my nails only. read more
