It took the stylist 4 hours to destroy all the work I'd put in for the last couple of years trying to grow out my gray. I'd gotten it past the really awkward phase. I asked for babylights through the transition part of my hair, a silver gloss, and a layered haircut. After 4 hours and this putrid color, the stylist hadn't even gotten to the cut yet. I left without the cut or blow-dry/style. Anyone who has ever gone through the process of trying to grow color out of hair knows this isn't just about getting a one time bad color. Even if I was refunded my money, I'd still need the fix for the immediate hair plus 2 years of ongoing maintenance color. This is literally a cost to me of over $1k plus the hours and hours I will have to commit to it again. My hair feels like straw, when it was very healthy going in. Plus, there's just the fact that I'm old. 2 years is significant. I am furious. More so at the management than the stylist. This was her first day...part of the reason for 4 hours. She had to continually leave me to go consult with others. Somebody that new, that timid, and with that many questions needed someone with her, assisting. I deserved that. She deserved that. WORST.SALON.EXPERIENCE.EVER! read more

Would not recommend coming here. Since the owner never returned my call, I'm going to let everyone here know what happened and you can decide for yourself if you wish to risk your money or not. Mine is hard to come by and I waited a very long time to get my hair done just to have it done wrong. I stopped in to CoCapelli mid June because I was searching for someone that specialized in platinum blonde color. I found Alivia on their website and stopped in to see if I could get a consultation scheduled. I was informed that she was out with a broken arm and a different stylist was recommended. I told the receptionist that I have complex hair, need someone very well versed in platinums and I wanted to make sure the stylist I got had over 10 years experience. She assured me the stylist she was recommending was the right fit, scheduled an appointment for my hair to get color on July 19th. I reached out to this stylist and requested a consultation in advance to make sure she fully knew what I was wanting done and could see why I was letting my natural light brown color grow out since last year. She texted me back that a consultation was not necessary, I was going to be her last appointment that day and we'd have plenty of time to talk. Red flag #1. I did send her pictures of my current hair color, and the pictures of what I was trying to achieve with putting some platinum in it but not wanting a lot of that because I had to have very low maintenance color, I could not come back every 8 weeks to get my color redone. I wanted to have it mostly my natural light brown color with some platinum added in for dimension and high contrast. So I get to my 1:00 appointment and meet her, very sweet, but I find out that I am no longer the last appointment, she is saying I was booked for foils and should have been booked for balayage and we have to get going. Red flag #2.... I did ask if I should reschedule, and she said no no no, we can make this work. I once again showed her the pictures of brown hair with some streaks of platinum worked in but a lot of the base color was still there and there was a lot of contrast between that and the platinum. When we got back to the chair after color, wash and rinse, she had a heck of a time brushing out my hair. It was very snarled from all the back combing and she wasn't hurting my scalp pulling my hair so hard but I was concerned it was stretching freshly colored hair and damaging it (later I find out I do have broken hair!). We finally got it brushed out and then started talking about a cut but by now we were quickly running out of time. She cut the back in a V like I asked her to, trimmed the sides but after talking about point cutting my bangs, never got around to it. She started blow drying my hair and just kept saying "oh it's so pretty" over and over - Red flag again. When I looked in the mirror, I commented about how much blonde there was and she said "all I did was follow what your previous stylist did". My heart sank. If I wanted that, I would have gone to my previous stylist and that's not at all what I asked you to do. By the time she got the blow dry done, I was speechless. Most and I do mean most, of my light brown hair was all gone. She put so much blonde in my hair and then all of my bangs are now bright yellow and there is this lovely (NOT) orange glow on the top of my head that I couldn't hide if I wanted to. I tried to like it, for her sake. She put a lot of work into it and a lot of time but it's not what I wanted, I've had the overall blonde look before, many times, it's not what I wanted at all and not what I waited 10 months for. And then she was in such a hurry to get out of there that she didn't even tell me about the product she recommended at the start of the appointment that would help take care of my hair after she did it. I had a trim scheduled for September but by the time Tuesday rolled around I was too upset after having to look at this mess all weekend. I called Tuesday to cancel that appointment and the receptionist that answered is the same one that was there when I got my hair done. I told her to cancel my cut, I'm not coming back. She asked why and kept pushing until I told her. She said they are very customer service oriented and truly care about their clients there and their happiness and that she'd have the owner call me about it and try and fix it. Well it's now been over 2 weeks since that phone call and there has been no phone call from anyone and no text messages so it's obvious they don't care about their clients. They got my money once but it will never happen twice. Now I have to start all over again trying to get my natural color to grow back out with all this blonde, it's going to look awful! Upsetting experience here! read more

Reasonably priced, fast service and efficiently run. Made an appointment for my sister and I via phone. I told them we didn't have a preference on who we saw, we just wanted to go in together. We were able to get in within a couple hours. Parking is right out front in the lot, so it's super easy. Easy check in and scheduling process. They have so many stylists it's easy to get an appointment when you need it. My sister and I were both so happy with our experience. We'll be back! read more

Robin did a fantastic job on my hair. It was so dull and broken on the ends not to mention a mess! She brought it back to life. She blended my silver with some new color on the bottom. Thank you... read more

DON'T GO HERE. I went in for a cut and balayage. The cut is so uneven I can't wear my hair down and only have layers on one side of my head. The front is toned ash and the back is bronze. It's not even much lighter than my natural/virgin hair I came in with and she cut 5 inches off. There are hard bleach lines all over my head. I called and asked for a refund and the owner offered to fix it but I do not trust them anymore and they won't refund my $250. Now it's going to cost me more for a color correction elsewhere because of how bad it is. Save your time, money, and frustration. read more

Came to Nashville for a wedding from Bay Area and found them on yelp. Was in a desperate need of hair cut after pandemic hit and salons remained mostly closed in bay area. Jannet was my stylist and she was awesome. She welcomed with a very warm smile and shared lot of tips from how to clean your brushes to how to keep hair from getting tangled in nights and how to condition and lot more. My actual appointment was just for cut, wash and style but After reaching the salon, I requested Jennet to give me a conditioning treatment and she was ready to accommodate it. After that, she did an amazing cut and styled my hair so it stays like that for next few days. Simply Awesome read more

The place is great! Robin is awesome! Excellent place to go and pamper yourself and have some girl time.

I've been coming here for like 10 years...it used to be a small salon and now it's extended 5x as big. I have had Beth do my hair for several years now. She is very good, quick. She knows what she's doing and does it and I'm in and out fast. The salon is gorgeous! It is always fancy nancied up in beautiful decor. The staff is polite and very professional. I feel like I'm in Beverly Hills here...I see Dolly Parton every time I go in! :) They are a full service Salon and I highly recommend it to everyone, men and women! The prices are very compatible with any other salon. Go get your hair done here and feel like a million bucks! It's sooo worth it! You deserve it! read more

Tucked away in an unassuming strip mall in Hermitage is Co. Capelli. Don't let the exterior fool you, enter and see that it has a funky, hip, industrial appearance and a great vibe. It is a one-stop shopping kind of place. Of course you can get your hair needs taken care of and there are so many choices of products to choose from to complete your look. But this little jewel also has manicures, pedicures, an aesthetician, Bare Minerals make-up, botox, wax jobs and some sparkly baubles to amuse and delight people like me. The highlight of this place is my stylist, Beth. Beth is amazing at her craft. She is energetic, knowledgeable and a real firecracker. She takes time to consult with you and genuinely listens to what it is you want done with your hair. She's also astute enough to gently guide you if what you ask for is not something that will really work well. Beth is also a great teacher. She has given me so many tips to help style and change up the appearance of my hair with a few nifty tricks. She keeps current in all the latest trends and will point you in the right direction. I've been going to her for a few years now and have no plans of anyone else getting their mitts on my hair. Call, make an appointment with Beth - tell her I sent you. read more

I just love coming to this place! They have everything from color, cuts, injections ( if you need them) eyebrow art, massage & more. I've been coming here for over a year and everyone seems very happy and the staff has a good natured rhythm. There are new stylist too, like Cat & a new lady from Great Britain! Hope she loves it as much as I do. I highly recommend this wonderful salon in Hermitage, TN. read more

I went it to Co Capelli for the first time and wanted to donate 10 inches of hair and get a highlight. Zara did an amazing job with the highlights and took her time to get everything perfect. I posted a picture of what my hair looked like after leaving here. They had it curled so I couldn't tell until I got home and straightened it but it is choppy, uneven and doesn't at all look like it's done by a professional. I called the salon to request a refund but all the manager offered was for me to come back and "have it fixed" because there "might have been a miscommunication about what I wanted" well I can tell you I didn't want to look like a 5 year old cut my hair when I walked out. Also I explained how I live an hour away but she still refused to refund the money....idk why they think I would want anyone at their salon anywhere near what's left of my hair smh. Also while I was there, there were comments made about how people tried going blonde but they had to chop out their hair because it was burned so badly (that's when I decided to not ask them to color mine ) and several other inappropriate comments made by stylists. But I don't even have to go into detail on that because long story short THEY SCREWED UP MY HAIR and that's all that REALLY mattered to me. I'm having to now pay someone else that I TRUST to fix my hair and am stuck paying them for this crap job as well. read more

I am no adventurer when it comes to trying out salons. It's safe to say that I nearly have a salon-phobia, due to past experiences of someone butchering my hair like a piece of meat. However, I am enormously pleased (and certainly relieved) to say that this wasn't the case. I've been wanting to cut quite a bit off my hair for quite awhile. My nearly cousin IT 'do from the Addams Family just wasn't cutting it anymore. Pardon the pun ;-D So I relied on my handy-dandy Yelp act to help guide me. After a bit of searching, I decided to try out this salon. Firstly, it didn't cost me an arm and a leg! That's YAY number 1! I made an appointment the day of with Beth and they accommodated my request promptly. Proceeding with YAY # 2....Beth did a fantastic job with my hair and gave me exactly what I wanted. YAY # 3...she is so friendly and we had a good conversation the entire time she was working on my hair. No snooty-booty salon vibe here! Beth was efficient, down-to-earth, and knowledgable about her craft. Overall, I love my hair! A major kudos to Beth for doing such a lovely job! read more

I took the day off to run some errands and called Co. Capelli to see if they could squeeze me in for a Spa Pedicure and boy I am glad they did. BEST WAX JOB EVER!!!! CLEAN, relaxing, and extremely professional!! Jennifer, one of the aestheticians, is absolutely THE BEST! She is always on point with her scheduling and never keeps me waiting. Her personality is the bomb.com but she manages to keep it very professional! I find it hard to write reviews after only visiting once, but I feel pretty confident in saying that Co.Capelli Salon is wonderful! I moved to Nashville in September and couldn't find a stylist I liked or couldn't get an appointment at some places. I called on a Monday and asked for the first available appointment (that worked with my work schedule) and they fit me right in after work on Friday. I came in, met Stephanie and she got me right in the chair! She listened to me tell her what issues I had with my hair, my hair type, what I usually do with it, and what I would like to happen. I get nervous with new hair stylists... I love my hair and I always stress over even a trim. She shampooed me and told me what she was about to do. Then, boom! A beautiful new hair style with fun layers while keeping my length and the most natural looking blowout I've ever had! I'm very happy with my choice to visit Co.Capelli and can't wait to see Stephanie next time! If you're on the fence, go ahead and do it! Yelp reviews helped me say yes to Co.Capelli! read more

My Miss Jana.. Jana is quite the lady. She listens and looks at what your hair needs may be and thoroughly discusses options. She's been my hair magician for three years now. This girl knows her stuff. I always walk out of the salon with happy-hair and happy-heart. Not only does she do excellent work but she is also very sweet and conversationally engaging. Jana has a very peaceful and receptive spirit about her. This gal devotes her efforts and energy to the person in her chair for the duration of the appointment. The salon is very neat and clean and they offer an array of services. read more

I had such a wonderful experience! I recently moved to the area and looked for local salons right here on Yelp. I saw this salon had good reviews so I decided to give it a try. I had a vague idea of what I wanted done (darker base with some light dimension). Amber did an excellent job! She was seamless. She took her time but still got it done in under 3 hours (I have thick hair and it usually takes around 3-4 hours) and I was very happy with the result. The other stylists were pleasant as well. I definitely recommend this salon. read more

Visited Co. Capelli for the first time today and Kristin G. did my hair. She was friendly and knowledgable and helped me decide on what I wanted. She listened to what I wanted and I walked away happy. The price she charged was extremely reasonable for the amount of time and work she put into my 'do. In fact, I assumed it would cost more. The salon itself is modern, clean, and inviting. I have no doubts I'll be back to see Kristin. read more

Recently moved to the area and I'm so happy I found this place! I'm one of those girls who doesn't need anything special with my haircut just a quick trim and face shape and Leslie has been absolutely awesome! I'm in and out in 20-30 with exactly what I want at a great price and it's easy to fit a haircut in over a lunch hour without rushing. The salon is always clean and the front desk staff is friendly but Leslie is definitely my favorite stylist I've gotten cut by so far! Highly recommend going to her! read more

Clean and super friendly salon. I made an appointment for an eyebrow wax, and was greeted by a receptionist when I arrived. They offered something to drink, so I took a bottle of water. Called ahead and made appointment with the owner (sorry I can't remember her name). Was able to get in the same day for a new short haircut, which was really surprising. When I went in, I found the place surprisingly nice inside (considering the outside location was in a strip mall area). I was actually impressed by the efficiency of the salon overall. I sat down and we discussed cut, color, and the unique attributes of "chemo hair". After a thorough washing and conditioning, she proceeded to cut what had become a hot mess of hair and asked questions throughout about what I wanted. Overall I found the stylist (owner) did a very good cut and had very good knowledge of even my distressed and damaged locks. We may tweak a few things the next time, but I am surprising quite happy with the results of this first appointment. read more

Favorite salon in Nashville. Even though I have moved a little further away, I still go back. I've had haircuts, color, perm, and eyebrow waxing at the salon and have never had a complaint. This is my new salon home! FINALLY after a year and a half I find the right place! Jana cut my hair and it looks great -- I gave her artist's control of the style and she did not disappoint. I believe it was Angela that waxed my brows and they look great too! As an added bonus, they sell Bare Minerals! No need to deal with the mall to get makeup!! The salon is great inside, too. It's in a shopping plaza and doesn't look like much at all outside, but it's beautiful and very clean inside. I will definitely go back! read more

First time I came here I'd say 4 star. This last time (last Friday) I'd have to say No star. Make sure you don't get Star. She pays more attention to the other customers not in her chair and she soooo butched my hair but worst of all she did my eyebrows. I now have barely 1 1/2 eyebrows. read more

Wow! I didn't even know this place existed until it sponsored a recent Donelson-Hermitage Chamber of Commerce event. Not being married to any particular salon, when it came time to get a cut and color, I decided to patronize this business just because of its support of the Chamber. I am so pleased that I did so! Leslie did my hair today. It looks totally awesome! Usually, I always hate my hair right after it is done, but this time I walked away immediately pleased. I was only more satisfied by the price, which was beyond reasonable for someone with very long hair. Seriously, I only paid $80 for a cut and color! The environment in the salon is shockingly nice, and the staff is great. I look forward to visiting again soon, not just to get my hair done, but perhaps for a spray tan and a facial, as well!
