Would not recommend coming here. Since the owner never returned my call, I'm going to let everyone here know what happened and you can decide for yourself if you wish to risk your money or not. Mine is hard to come by and I waited a very long time to get my hair done just to have it done wrong. I stopped in to CoCapelli mid June because I was searching for someone that specialized in platinum blonde color. I found Alivia on their website and stopped in to see if I could get a consultation scheduled. I was informed that she was out with a broken arm and a different stylist was recommended. I told the receptionist that I have complex hair, need someone very well versed in platinums and I wanted to make sure the stylist I got had over 10 years experience. She assured me the stylist she was recommending was the right fit, scheduled an appointment for my hair to get color on July 19th. I reached out to this stylist and requested a consultation in advance to make sure she fully knew what I was wanting done and could see why I was letting my natural light brown color grow out since last year. She texted me back that a consultation was not necessary, I was going to be her last appointment that day and we'd have plenty of time to talk. Red flag #1. I did send her pictures of my current hair color, and the pictures of what I was trying to achieve with putting some platinum in it but not wanting a lot of that because I had to have very low maintenance color, I could not come back every 8 weeks to get my color redone. I wanted to have it mostly my natural light brown color with some platinum added in for dimension and high contrast. So I get to my 1:00 appointment and meet her, very sweet, but I find out that I am no longer the last appointment, she is saying I was booked for foils and should have been booked for balayage and we have to get going. Red flag #2.... I did ask if I should reschedule, and she said no no no, we can make this work. I once again showed her the pictures of brown hair with some streaks of platinum worked in but a lot of the base color was still there and there was a lot of contrast between that and the platinum. When we got back to the chair after color, wash and rinse, she had a heck of a time brushing out my hair. It was very snarled from all the back combing and she wasn't hurting my scalp pulling my hair so hard but I was concerned it was stretching freshly colored hair and damaging it (later I find out I do have broken hair!). We finally got it brushed out and then started talking about a cut but by now we were quickly running out of time. She cut the back in a V like I asked her to, trimmed the sides but after talking about point cutting my bangs, never got around to it. She started blow drying my hair and just kept saying "oh it's so pretty" over and over - Red flag again. When I looked in the mirror, I commented about how much blonde there was and she said "all I did was follow what your previous stylist did". My heart sank. If I wanted that, I would have gone to my previous stylist and that's not at all what I asked you to do. By the time she got the blow dry done, I was speechless. Most and I do mean most, of my light brown hair was all gone. She put so much blonde in my hair and then all of my bangs are now bright yellow and there is this lovely (NOT) orange glow on the top of my head that I couldn't hide if I wanted to. I tried to like it, for her sake. She put a lot of work into it and a lot of time but it's not what I wanted, I've had the overall blonde look before, many times, it's not what I wanted at all and not what I waited 10 months for. And then she was in such a hurry to get out of there that she didn't even tell me about the product she recommended at the start of the appointment that would help take care of my hair after she did it. I had a trim scheduled for September but by the time Tuesday rolled around I was too upset after having to look at this mess all weekend. I called Tuesday to cancel that appointment and the receptionist that answered is the same one that was there when I got my hair done. I told her to cancel my cut, I'm not coming back. She asked why and kept pushing until I told her. She said they are very customer service oriented and truly care about their clients there and their happiness and that she'd have the owner call me about it and try and fix it. Well it's now been over 2 weeks since that phone call and there has been no phone call from anyone and no text messages so it's obvious they don't care about their clients. They got my money once but it will never happen twice. Now I have to start all over again trying to get my natural color to grow back out with all this blonde, it's going to look awful! Upsetting experience here! read more

Reasonably priced, fast service and efficiently run. Made an appointment for my sister and I via phone. I told them we didn't have a preference on who we saw, we just wanted to go in together. We were able to get in within a couple hours. Parking is right out front in the lot, so it's super easy. Easy check in and scheduling process. They have so many stylists it's easy to get an appointment when you need it. My sister and I were both so happy with our experience. We'll be back! read more

DON'T GO HERE. I went in for a cut and balayage. The cut is so uneven I can't wear my hair down and only have layers on one side of my head. The front is toned ash and the back is bronze. It's not even much lighter than my natural/virgin hair I came in with and she cut 5 inches off. There are hard bleach lines all over my head. I called and asked for a refund and the owner offered to fix it but I do not trust them anymore and they won't refund my $250. Now it's going to cost me more for a color correction elsewhere because of how bad it is. Save your time, money, and frustration. read more

She welcomed with a very warm smile and shared lot of tips from how to clean your brushes to how to keep hair from getting tangled in nights and how to condition and lot more. My actual appointment was just for cut, wash and style but After reaching the salon, I requested Jennet to give me a conditioning treatment and she was ready to accommodate it. I've been coming here for like 10 years...it used to be a small salon and now it's extended 5x as big. I have had Beth do my hair for several years now. She is very good, quick. She knows what she's doing and does it and I'm in and out fast. The salon is gorgeous! It is always fancy nancied up in beautiful decor. The staff is polite and very professional. I feel like I'm in Beverly Hills here...I see Dolly Parton every time I go in! :) They are a full service Salon and I highly recommend it to everyone, men and women! I posted a picture of what my hair looked like after leaving here. They had it curled so I couldn't tell until I got home and straightened it but it is choppy, uneven and doesn't at all look like it's done by a professional. I called the salon to request a refund but all the manager offered was for me to come back and "have it fixed" because there "might have been a miscommunication about what I wanted" well I can tell you I didn't want to look like a 5 year old cut my hair when I walked out. Also I explained how I live an hour away but she still refused to refund the money....idk why they think I would want anyone at their salon anywhere near what's left of my hair smh. Also while I was there, there were comments made about how people tried going blonde but they had to chop out their hair because it was burned so badly (that's when I decided to not ask them to color mine ) and several other inappropriate comments made by stylists. But I don't even have to go into detail on that because long story short THEY SCREWED UP MY HAIR and that's all that REALLY mattered to me. I am no adventurer when it comes to trying out salons. It's safe to say that I nearly have a salon-phobia, due to past experiences of someone butchering my hair like a piece of meat. I moved to Nashville in September and couldn't find a stylist I liked or couldn't get an appointment at some places. I called on a Monday and asked for the first available appointment (that worked with my work schedule) and they fit me right in after work on Friday. I came in, met Stephanie and she got me right in the chair! She listened to me tell her what issues I had with my hair, my hair type, what I usually do with it, and what I would like to happen. I had a vague idea of what I wanted done (darker base with some light dimension). Amber did an excellent job! She was seamless. She took her time but still got it done in under 3 hours (I have thick hair and it usually takes around 3-4 hours) and I was very happy with the result. The other stylists were pleasant as well. Recently moved to the area and I'm so happy I found this place! I'm one of those girls who doesn't need anything special with my haircut just a quick trim and face shape and Leslie has been absolutely awesome! I'm in and out in 20-30 with exactly what I want at a great price and it's easy to fit a haircut in over a lunch hour without rushing. Called ahead and made appointment with the owner (sorry I can't remember her name). Was able to get in the same day for a new short haircut, which was really surprising. When I went in, I found the place surprisingly nice inside (considering the outside location was in a strip mall area). I was actually impressed by the efficiency of the salon overall. I sat down and we discussed cut, color, and the unique attributes of "chemo hair". After a thorough washing and conditioning, she proceeded to cut what had become a hot mess of hair and asked questions throughout about what I wanted. Overall I found the stylist (owner) did a very good cut and had very good knowledge of even my distressed and damaged locks. This is my new salon home! FINALLY after a year and a half I find the right place! Jana cut my hair and it looks great -- I gave her artist's control of the style and she did not disappoint. I believe it was Angela that waxed my brows and they look great too! As an added bonus, they sell Bare Minerals! No need to deal with the mall to get makeup!! The salon is great inside, too. Wow! I didn't even know this place existed until it sponsored a recent Donelson-Hermitage Chamber of Commerce event. Not being married to any particular salon, when it came time to get a cut and color, I decided to patronize this business just because of its support of the Chamber. I am so pleased that I did so! Leslie did my hair today. It looks totally awesome! Usually, I always hate my hair right after it is done, but this time I walked away immediately pleased. I was only more satisfied by the price, which was beyond reasonable for someone with very long hair. Seriously, I only paid $80 for a cut and color! The environment in the salon is shockingly nice, and the staff is great. I look forward to visiting again soon, not just to get my hair done, but perhaps for a spray tan and a facial, as well! I saw Meridee in May, and I cannot stress how much she saved me! I had an awful cut two days before from another salon, and I had a huge work event that evening (and then traveling out of town the next day!) I hopefully and cautiously walked in after reading the reviews, and I was so fortunate that she had a cancellation and was able to see me. It's always a gamble and very scary to go to a stylist you don't know, and I walked out in happy tears. Not only did she fix my cut, she gave me such an amazing look! I sat down in her chair and couldn't even tell her what I wanted, I just anxiously asked her if she could fix my look, lol. What a professional to be able to smoothly and coolly handle a nervous new client, and know exactly what cut would work. I cannot stress enough what good hands you would be in with her. read more
