From the very beginnings…read moreof APS, Jodi has grown her business and her team with incredible care and attention to detail. If you have hair and you want an educated, passionate, and wildly talented stylist, look no further than APS. Our first appointment, she rescued me from my hair crisis and brought me back to my favorite red hair color after I spontaneously dyed it box black in college. Though I always want my hair to be some shade of red/maroon, Jodi makes each style unique, vibrant, healthy, and beautiful. The other girls at the salon are so nice - they are a big family and when you come in, you're a part of it. Sit back, relax, and enjoy your "me time". After years of stylist hopping my boyfriend finally took my advice and now gets his hair done here by liv and loves her work as well. I can confidently recommend any of the stylists here, because jodi is a phenomenal teacher and boss and makes sure her staff is always learning and growing. After experiencing the customer service and the incredible quality here, I'm not sure why you would want to go anywhere else. #TeamAPS for life!

The salon is really cute and comfortable, I got the best scalp massage on a heated chair! My daughter was very happy with her hair cut as well. We will keep going and I highly recommend this salon!!

He is quite picky so the fact that he's been coming here for 6 years says a lot. Our hair stylist Judalon is a fabulous southern woman that is almost as entertaining as she is a great stylist. I love coming here to chat her up and usually tag along with my fiance when he comes just so I can see her. Also, the prices here are amazing. I pay $35 for a haircut. I've heard of my friends paying double, sometimes more, for a haircut in the city. Honestly..my hair isn't worth that much and I think mine looks just as good as theirs after their $70 haircut.

WELL- I found that place, and that stylist! May I introduce hair magician Shannon Wiseman.... Ta-Da! I will start this with an explanation of my hair: thin, crappy, and lacks luster and body. When I walk out form getting my hair done, it's like it's someone else's hair altogether. She "makes out" with my hair, and my hair loves her! OK, aside from all that. The cuts are reasonable priced, and the salon is nice too. Easy to get to (right next to Home Depot in Hermitage). Shannon has some funky hours, Thurs are her only late night... Hey, hey, hey.... don't go scooping up on my time ladies! She also has daytime hours available. Give her a ring and she will make your hair sing! swisemanw@yahoo.com Thanks for digging my YELP!

My 13 year old daughter wanted her punk/emo hair before school starts. My daughter is no wimp and…read morehas had half of her hair shaved off when she was 6. She is bold with her hair style and color choices. I spent over $200 on a hack job that looked like a 50 year old lady a basement with NO certification would unfortunately do. You gave a 13 year old girl a bowl cut like a boy, NOT the wolf cut she requested. The red and "purple" color, I'm sorry there is no purple. It's barely even blue and the red already looks like it needs touch ups around the roots because of how far apart it is. I said she has had her hair dyed before and I wasn't playing. Sending a 13 year old girl to middle school with such a crappy hair cut is social suicide. I questioned that hair before we left and my daughter couldn't see it she was just happy knowing there was red in her hair again. Your 20 something year employee or I'm assuming granddaughter wanted to book it out that door and I was going to stop and have that disaster on my daughter's head corrected. It wasn't until later my daughter freaked out when getting her nails done when she saw that: 1. It was uneven; 2. The left side was more of a bowl cut while the right side was slightly longer; 3. She said she looks like a guy; 4. I can't see the color that much; 5. The purple isn't purple it's blue; 6. It was NOTHING like we had shown them. Trust me I didn't want to use you people, but my daughter wanted her hair done. I would have rather waited 2 weeks for a better hairstylist, paid $100-300 more than the original $200 on someone more talented, and why I stick with my hair dresser.
