Well, I went down a rabbit hole and found Poppy and Monroe! A head spa is more than just a massage. At Poppy and Monroe, they give you a scalp analysis, massage, and essential oil treatments, with plenty of warm, rushing water to rinse and finesse. My treatment, which was pretty pricey at around 300 bucks, also included a facial (the esthetician rubbing my face was divine), foot massage, and hand/arm massage. At the beginning of the head treatment, Anna (who was AMAZING, by the way) showed me what was good and bad about my hair and scalp--my scalp was some of the best she'd seen, but was a little pale and needed more blood flow. She then showed me what my scalp looked like after that treatment, and there was indeed more blood flow, and looked more vibrant and less anemic. Anna was professional and kind and told me what she was doing every step of the way. She made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Everything felt wonderful. The vibe was calm. I felt relaxed. After the visit, Anna gave me pointers on how to care for my scalp and recommendations for returning for further treatments, but not in a gimmicky-trying-to-sell-me-stuff way. The space is warm and welcoming and also offers pedicures, manicures, and makeup sessions. The pedicure/manicure spaces are a little close together for my taste (I prefer private rooms), but they are stylish and clean. I plan to come back and see Anna again to work on my self care regimen. And there are lots of cute restaurants and shops in the area, so you can park and make an afternoon of it!

Throughout the appointment, he didn't say a single word to me, even though the other technicians were talking with other customers. When it was time to pay, I was shocked to be charged $70. I didn't request any nail art or special design, my nails are short, and nothing about the service was different from my previous gel fills. There was no explanation for the price increase. Unfortunately, because of the long wait, poor customer service, and unexpected charge, I won't be returning. I was really hoping this would be my new nail place!

Do NOT go to this nail shop unless you're ok with your new set of nails popping off within a week…read more I paid $155 for my nails and pedicure and Nails Fabulous refuses to fix their mistakes. The owner "Eric" or Mien Dinh is extremely rude and unprofessional. I imagine they only treat their Black customers this way. Instead of correcting their mistakes, Eric is replying to my reviews with lies, so I've added additional proof. I got my nails done on July 29. A new Gel X set. By August 7 two of my nails popped off without me breaking them or causing any tension to them. That means either the nail technician didn't apply them correctly or the gel that holds the nail tip on the natural nail is not strong enough. Nails Fabulous refuses to take any accountability or fix their mistake. I have been getting Gel X nails for three years at various nail salons in different cities. It's a much better alternative to acrylics. I have never once experienced nails popping off, let alone within the first 10 days of having them done. This is abnormal. Despite having photos, videos, dates, the salon would not even fix my nail free of charge. Please see the photos and videos attached. As you can see from the Instagram message, they originally offered to repair the second nail, even with it being past their 7-day policy. But once I wouldn't accept the 20% off future services, they refused to fix the second nail. Screenshots don't lie. It's unfortunate because Theresa was so sweet. I'd planned on making her my new nail tech. But there's no way they can stand behind such terrible work and rudeness. They do not value their customers hard work or money. If they'd simply offered me a partial refund or 50% off the next visit, I would've been satisfied. They refused to fix my second nail or offer any type of compensation.
