I was referred to Rainbow Nails by my hair stylist. I had grown out my Ombré pink & whites and needed a fill done. I was told by another place that was less than a mile from my home that they could not fill ombré pink & whites. However, this humble Husband and Wife team at Rainbow Nails did an absolutely beautiful job for what I call a very reasonable price considering it's Ombré and I had jewelry put on. They are thin and not chunky, very well shaped and perfect! I will drive the 35 min for every nail job and will be referring my daughter and friends too. My experience was perfect! I walked in since I left work early, hoping the wait would not be too long. They greeted me and asked what I wanted. I asked for a manicure & gel polish. I waited approximately 10min. The woman taking care of me recommended powder since she saw the damage on my nails. Then my tech switched to a gentleman. He suggested I not get a manicure since powder routine basically covers most of it. His suggestion saved me money. I said I did not want a thick coat because I don't want it to look unnatural. I went to Rainbow Nails on a Saturday afternoon and there was no wait. It was clean. The staff was nice and professional, and also kid friendly. I had my niece with me and they were very welcoming of her. Also, she's well behaved so I wouldn't just say expect them to be okay with your kids running around and terrorizing the place! They have a bowl of snacks, and offer water. It didn't take forever but they definitely take their time. I loved the outcome of my nails and I'm glad it only took about an hour or so to get my nails and toes painted with gel. I would definitely recommend them. I'm so happy I discovered Rainbow Nails today! I had a spa pedicure with a massage that was hands down the best pedicure I've ever had. Cookie did a fantastic job! The experience was relaxing, the prices were very reasonable, and the design she painted on my big toes makes me want to walk barefoot everywhere so I can show off my toes. I also got a full set of powder-dipped nails that look so good, I can't stop admiring them. Minh and Cookie were both really sweet! Not too happy with my acrylics. The people there were very nice, but they painted the acrylics very sloppily and there was a hair that got painted into one of the nails (I posted a photo). I tried pointing out that there was something on my nail and she's just like "no there's not." It also really hurt when she was sanding and buffing my nails. I just love this place!! All siblings and their spouses work here. They are just so kind and really try to go the extra mile by adding nice touches to your visit. The second time I went, they remembered me by name. The inside does not do justice to the quality of care and finished product! 5 hours after my manicure & pedicure, my index finger began to chip (and no, I didn't immerse my hands under water except to wash them). The gentleman who did my mani & pedi didn't add a base coat before applying a dark wine colored polish to my nails, and he used a top coat that is normally used for no chip polish. By the time he was done, it looked like my 7 year old nephew had polished my nails. No attempt was made to clean up the polish from my cuticles and skin. The staff was kind, but didn't even bother asking if I was satisfied with my nails as I was paying. In a nutshell, you're better off spending a bit more at a nicer salon where the nail techs are more likely to take pride in their work & client satisfaction. read more

I don't understand the bad reviews. I liked this place a lot. They are super sweet and want to make you happy. I recommend them!

First time coming here. It is very convenient to where I live but I will not be coming back due to the excessive prices and nail work. They charge $55 for a fill. And when I ask why it is the same cost as a full set, it was told to me because I got them cut shorter. I got acrylic nails, and they are a little lumpy and the shape makes them look a little stubby. But it got the job done and I am not terribly upset. I am not sure why they would charge for a full set because I got them cut shorter when they use list polish less powder and less time. It sounds like it might be a way for them to make a few extra dollars which I can't exactly condemn since they are business but it's definitely not customer first. Again I will not be back due to the price and nail work. read more

Had a gel manicure today. The man who did them was very nice, but the manicure is just BAD. There is polish all over my cuticles (he definitely didn't spend enough time trimming my cuticles), the polish is sloppy and my nails aren't evenly shaped. I wish I would have paid more attention prior to leaving the salon. As close as it is to home and my shopping stops, I won't be back. read more

Overall the customer service was exceptional, the staff was friendly and the service was what I expected. I'm from out of town so I'm use to paying 20-25$ for a pedicure so $35 was a tad bit on the expensive side but outside of that I think you will enjoy yourself here. My nails started to peel right away told the guy doing my nails a hair was left in my acrylic he said " oh it won't hurt" yea that's gross...also they never cleaned the pedicure tub base while I was there and when a lady came in they just started the water and sprayed some spray to cover the odor of lord knows but they used my same basin twice and never cleaned it not once :-/ read more

Although the service was exceptional, my nails turned out AWFUL! I went in for a fill in, and they talked me into getting a complete full set and starting over. Understandable. The tips they put on were WAY to small and my nails looked so weird. Not to mention I bleed, and it was super painful taking off the previous acrylic nail. I would not recommend this to anyone. I LOVED it here. It's family operated but they are the sweetest people. I got the SNS done and I was very indecisive about the color, but she used a fake tip to test the dip out to see if I'd actually like it before we started! They offered me something to drink and we had small talk like I'd known them forever. Very comfortable salon, very clean, and they did an AMAZING job on my nails. It's now my new nail shop :) plus it only cost $40 for a full dip set since I paid cash! I'm used to paying at least $60. read more

It wasnt the best mani I'd ever had but it was cheap, quick, and it's Tuesday night & my polish still looks PERFECT!? So great job :) I'm giving this a 4 star bc it was really dusty in here. Family owned and super friendly! Even on the days they're busy, they still take their time doing your nails. During the pedicure, the massages are always amazing. I got a pedicure and a gel manicure by the same guy. He gave me a great foot massage that lasted longer than normal. My actual toes looked okay. He did not really clean up the polish around the toes after, so I had to do that myself when I got home. I got a chip in my big toe polish 4 days later. The manicure just flat out was not done well. The polish was everywhere. And gel manicures are supposed to last 10 days. I was chipping and peeling 2 days later. He was rushed and did not clean them up and I was really disappointed with how my nails looked. I gave it 3 stars because the guy was really nice and he did give a nice foot massage, BUT I will never go back. It cost $65 for both services and then plus tip, that is a lot of money and the work just was not worth it. Go somewhere else. Oh and they fail to you tell you until you are completely done, but they take off $10 if you pay with cash. Had I known, I would have brought cash. read more
