I was told by another place that was less than a mile from my home that they could not fill ombré pink & whites. However, this humble Husband and Wife team at Rainbow Nails did an absolutely beautiful job for what I call a very reasonable price considering it's Ombré and I had jewelry put on. They are thin and not chunky, very well shaped and perfect! I will drive the 35 min for every nail job and will be referring my daughter and friends too. My experience was perfect! Thank you so much!

The woman taking care of me recommended powder since she saw the damage on my nails. Then my tech switched to a gentleman. He suggested I not get a manicure since powder routine basically covers most of it. His suggestion saved me money. I said I did not want a thick coat because I don't want it to look unnatural. He was gentle and listened. I truly enjoyed the service and the atmosphere was calming.

After checking in, I waited about 35 minutes before the technician finally came over to start my nails. Throughout the appointment, he didn't say a single word to me, even though the other technicians were talking with other customers. When it was time to pay, I was shocked to be charged $70. I didn't request any nail art or special design, my nails are short, and nothing about the service was different from my previous gel fills. There was no explanation for the price increase. Unfortunately, because of the long wait, poor customer service, and unexpected charge, I won't be returning. I was really hoping this would be my new nail place!

I found Nail Lounge by happy accident. I stopped in, saw a man doing a killer Valentine's set on…read morethe lady in his chair, and decided to book with him. I returned today for my appointment with Vinny. I got a fill in for my current acrylics, and requested a Valentine's Day inspired nail design. Vinny listened to my request and his artistic talent did the rest. The shape is excellent. Vinny meticulously filed away until I had the perfectly shaped stiletto nails. Smoothe edges and surface. No lumps, no bumps, and no jagged edges. He had an awesome AI gel nail dryer, which boasted how it applies the UV directly to the nails, not the skin, for a healthier experience. There was also a visual screen atop, showing your hands inside the machine. Very demure! I love my nails! Vinny is such an amazing nail artist; he's personable and funny too! I particularly appreciated how he took his time with my nails; I did not feel rushed. Nail Lounge is a fairly small shop compared to some of the others these days. But they have all the offerings of the mega nail salons. I liked their chairs. Each chair had matching little pillows which fit perfectly between the small of my back and the chair, making a very comfortable seat. There is no discount for paying with cash, but you avoid the credit card upcharge (which is less than $2). The employees are nice and accommodating. I was asked by multiple people if I wanted anything to drink. Lastly, I love the pricing structure and how they gave me an itemized receipt to explain the charges. I watched as Vinny keyed in all of my services rendered and the computer priced it out. No guesswork; no making up figures off the top of their heads. Whenever I'm in Nashville, Vinny and Nail Lounge will be my go-tos. Heck, I'd even drive to Nashville just to have Vinny do my nails!

The location is also perfect -- you can easily stroll around before or after your appointment, which I love. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the salon is immaculate every single time. I've tried other places both in Hendersonville and downtown, and nothing compares to the vibe and cleanliness here. One of my favorite parts: they have a separate VIP pedicure room. If you're feeling a little bougie or just want a peaceful moment to yourself, it is heavenly -- quiet, relaxing, and worth every penny. They also offer waxing services, which is so convenient. I had my eyebrows done during my visit, and it was truly a one-stop shop with very reasonable pricing. Whether you book ahead or walk in, I'd highly recommend this place. I can't wait to come back!

But it's just so awesome when you find a nail salon where you can actually close your eyes and enjoy the personal time you take.... Lee has owned Lovely Nails for 10 yrs... the place is clean, nothing fancy, no curtains to the floor, no wine bar, no loud TV, no loud Asian music.. Just a clean, quiet environment for someone like myself that doesn't take a lot of personal time and when it's quiet and I can close my eyes and enjoy the massage chair.. this was a treat. An honest to goodness treat. And you know what else is great about this little place? It's in a little tiny shopping center with some very important, needful stores.. Shoe repair, Alterations, food, phone accessories, a shop to grab a cigar or a diet soda.. I told Lee how much I enjoyed the time.. My nail tech gal took her time, was gentle, thoughtful, and thorough. my pedicure lasted about an hour.. About 6-7 turns on the massage chair. Before going to Aldi's... since that is the destination for most of us, go a tad bit earlier and hit the nail salon before going shopping... You have Aldi's, Nails, shoe repair, alterations... right there... all those important stores we need sooner or later... But if you're like me, and you like to spoil yourself a little, indulge in grooming, and not be around a bunch of noisy people,,, check out Lovely Nails. Highly recommend.
