Service is horrible! I called ahead to ask what the wait was and was told that there was 1 person ahead of me. They opened at 9 am and I arrived at 9:30. I waited until 10:30 watching women come in and get serviced. So after waiting a hour I asked how much longer, due to the fact that I have other obligations on this day and I needed to leave. The man in the shop says the lady that walked in 2 minutes prior to me questioning him was the one in front of me. Amazing job!! Walked in, offered water and candy. Saw that I was hungry and offered a little bar. The customer service here is to die for, they are a family owned husband and wife team. Not only are they extremely nice and friendly. They have the best talent in Nashville. Both my dip gel nails and pedicure are perfect. The owner made lewd and inappropriate comments towards my teenage daughter while he was polishing her nails. He began with asking her age, grade, who dropped her off, then asked if her father is still around, then he mentioned selling her on eBay for $299!?!!!?! My husband returned to the store immediately to question him about his comments, he could not explain why he mentioned selling her for $299, his wife stepped in, said it was a joke, claimed he jokes with her all the time about selling her on eBay?!?!!! The wife ultimately apologized for the solicitation. There was one employee named, Nikki, who was extremely rude and confrontational throughout the entire ordeal. The wife made several attempts to muzzle her, but she continued to be confrontational. read more

Great job on my pedicure! I loved the fact that the pedicure specialist was a little down home country girl and she was so sweet to me. First time I have ever been to Tennessee and my first time to ever have a pedicure here either. If I ever come back to Tennessee then I will definitely be back. I was very satisfied and it only cost $27. My feet needed it bad! I hate to complain after a job so well done; but my heel is a little raw this morning. It saddens me to leave this review. But I'm so upset right now. I went for a eyebrow and lip wax. I had a full beautiful set of eyebrows that just needed a little cleaning. The woman laid me down, not once asked what i wanted and proceeded to just start waxing me with no discussion. Didn't do any investigating to find out what i wanted. Before i knew it she waxed off almost ALL of my tail of my eye brows and left me with hardly any hair at all. My wedding is in 2 months and now I'm left with these very thin brows that look nothing like the eye brows i came in with. I'm extremely sad right now because I just didn't expect this at all. I've never had someone take off so much of my eyebrow hair before. The pictures are of what my brows normally look like and what they look like after she waxed them. All i can do right now is cry and pray that they do eventually grow back to how they were. read more

It's pretty unassuming - next to a Panera in a strip mall. But I've had nothing short of a five star experience every time. They do take appointments - which is nice. Their prices are very reasonable and their attention to detail keeps me coming back! It's family owned by a husband and wife - their young adult children pop around from time to time. It's homey yet professional. Everything is very clean and organized. I typically get a gel manicure - $35. My time is always enjoyable and they don't give me a hard time about having short nails. I literally can not say about him good things about this place or the amazing people. The owner is incredible and not only thinks of you as a customer but really cares about you as his customer. I always come over during my lunch break, for which I have an hour, and he always manages to get my nails and toes done to perfection. Ex. Drilled my acrylics to the point where they were paper thin. Within 1 day, I had broken a nail. Went back and had it repaired. Within 1 more day, 2 other nails were broken. Decided to give it a few more days and I was able to fully chip all of the acrylic off my nails with no acetone and only nail clippers. Probably the worst nail job I've ever had. So i went to a different place and had a full set put on 5 days after having Nail First do my fill in. What a waste of my time and money. Update: others have asked if I have the right salon, and I certainly do. Right next to Panera. The owner was very friendly and he is actually the one who did my nails. Still to this date the worst acrylic nails I've ever had put on. The drill shouldn't be painful and it was. The nails shouldn't chip within 24 hours and they did. I shouldn't have to go back within 48 hours for broken acrylics, and I did. I shouldn't be able to completely & easily remove acrylics within days of having them put on, and that's exactly what happened. read more

I've lived in Nashville for about 5 years, and this is the best nail salon I've been to. You may have to wait a while, but the manicure is worth it. My nail tech was Nichole and I loved her so much. She carried a great conversation, was meticulous with my nails, and had a positive attitude. I even chipped one of my nails (my fault) after leaving, and she told me to come back and get it fixed free of charge. I had been on the hunt for a new local nail spot since moving from Southern California to Madison this summer. I called day of and made an appointment, but still waited about a half hour until I was serviced. I wouldn't say this is the place where you get in and out quickly. However, they did such a wonderful job, I ended up not caring. The pedicure I was given was the most thorough I've ever received. I even felt secure enough in having them wax my brows & lip since finding a decent threading place here is a nightmare. This place was nice but the blonde girl who did my nails had a very foul odor. I'm not sure if it was her breath or coming from some lady part but I gagged the entire time. This place might want to talk to its employees about personal hygiene. Also the nail "artwork" was laughable. Best place I've found in nashville & half the price of any nail salon with a good reputation in Greenhills area. Everyone is always super friendly & I've never had a problem just walking in. Also my gel nails have lasted longer than any other nail salon I've gone to in Nashville. They know all of their clients by name which is a good sign to have regulars & they've never pushed any up charge on me or been too rough with me(my cuticles are sensitive). I had to wait a little bit past my appointment time, but that was fine. It was well worth the wait.
