They let me know the proper vs improper places to park immediately. I did not schedule an appointment but they were able to work me in within 10 minutes of my arrival. They are averagely priced for places in East Nashville. They asked if I would like anything to drink during my time. And from there proceed to receive good feet care. I desperately needed my nails done and waited until the absolute last minute. I stumbled upon cured and they had an opening right after my working hours, so I decided to snag it online! (Tip: their later hours tend to open up the same day online, so check in the morning and if you're lucky like me, you'll get something after 5pm). Their online system was easy to use and I appreciated the pricing transparency. I went ahead and booked a foil manicure (accent nail) and quickie pedi. The inside was nice and relaxing. They offered me a free sparkling water while I waited. Parking was off street and free! My nail tech was kind and helped me choose my colors. I took off one star because she seemed confused about the foil art I requested. She did a good job, but the way she overlaid the foil wasn't necessarily what I asked for. Also, on the website, it clearly listed gold foil and they didn't have this available. I went with a tortoise foil instead, which was nice but not what I had in mind. Upon payment, the staff tried to overcharge me. I had to pull out my phone and show them the booking I had made online. They quickly took me back to the original price I had been quoted online, but I thought it was strange that given the pricing transparency, they were pricing things different in person than online. In sum, I'm happy with the nails and had good service. However, if you're looking to this place for nail art or pricing transparency, maybe look elsewhere. read more

The first time I had my brows done and tinted here, they were absolutely perfect, so I returned expecting the same result. This time, however, was a completely different experience. I even showed a photo from my previous visit to ensure consistency, but when I got home, I realized how much darker they were than expected. I reached out via email and was advised to wait a few days for the tint to fade, as they wanted my brows to "look perfect." Unfortunately, they didn't fade at all, so I followed up again. This time, I was advised to use makeup remover and even Dawn dish soap--far from the solution I'd hoped for, especially with my wedding less than a week away. I'm extremely disappointed and feel let down, especially during such an important time. To provide some context, the top photo shows my previous brow tint, which was exactly the natural look what I wanted. I want to love this place, as I find the owner is very invested in the customer experience and it's close to my house. However over the last years I've had experiences with two different nail techs that have me feeling like I don't want to go back. Specifically with them being too harsh on my cuticles and either cutting me or ripping my skin. This last week I got my nails done and the cuticle work hurt. Looking at my nails now you can literally see ripped skin. Plus it's been less than a week and my gel manicure is already dull/chipping where normally my nails hold shine for at least a couple weeks. My daughter and I walked in to inquire about pedis - we were told we could be accommodated, so great!!! Picked out our nail polish and were seated on the pedi "couch" quickly- so far so good! The techs came over and put our feet in water and started taking old polish off - never once asked what pedi would like (i have been doing pedis for probably 25 years and have ALWAYS been asked what I would like). A little lotion was applied and a MAYBE 2 minute "massage" - then polish started going on. I questioned why so quick and was told I got the basic, told her never given option!! She didn't seem to care a whole bunch... I had taken my daughter who is very prego for a nice relaxing time.. not that the polish job is bad, looks good but... Then go to pay (the pedi was 35) I paid for both and the bill was 88 (paid cash for tips so that isn't it) - This latter part is on me as I should have spoken up but I was over it!! read more

Wanted to surprise my bf with a mani/pedi spa day. I was unable to schedule mani/pedi services for two people at the same time & had to call. While helpful, the receptionist ended up messing up the appointment. When we arrived, we had to choose mani or pedi because they did not have time for us to get both (which was the entire point of me calling). They also did not offer any discount or anything for messing up the appointment. The service ended up being fine, but we didn't even get our nails trimmed - which was a first. My nails were not painted to the cutical and have a huge space between my cutical and the paint. My feet still are rough and have calisus. If your looking for a cute pedicure manicure spot to take your kid this is a good place or maybe a touch up or change of color. Not for a good place for women that are hard working and expecting a good pedi mani. My polish should have looked new when I left not like I had a two week old mani. I don't plan on returning so I didn't complain while I was there. I took a 120$ loss with this place. They also asked if I would like something to drink while here. I asked for water. I should have taken a picture of the glass. It was disgusting. There was some type of food or green pieces stuck to the inside and outside of the glass. The receptionist and most nail techs have been very pleasant! In addition to that, they have a decent selection of polish colors. I came to Cured for the first time today and was so happy with my experience! I got the Quickie Mani and Pedi, both with gel. I was greeted by the receptionist who offered drinks while I picked out my color. I was called back within 5 minutes of my appointment time, so that was great. Laquita was my technician. She was very professional and made me feel comfortable. I could tell that she really took pride in her work and did a beautiful job. I also spoke with the owner briefly. She was very friendly. Everyone I interacted with was welcoming. The decor and atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing. It was really nice to not feel rushed. The prices are only slightly higher than what I usually expect. However, I'm more than happy to pay it to support a local business that seems to really take care of their people. A few other new salons had opened in our neighborhood and when I visited them in August, I found that my manicure chipped shortly after and that my nails weren't painted completely. I sent over an email to their team and they were able to accommodate my friend so that we could both get our nails together (we were the last two people getting our nails done on NYE). I found the space to be very clean and was beautifully decorated - the nail techs were very friendly and professional. Cured makes cleanliness of tools a priority and you can tell this is top service. The parking lot can be a little tricky to find - I have a call to the receptionist and she gave me great directions. Their parking lot is the think parking lot right across the road from the salon by the tattoo parlor. Parking was free which is a great plus! They have various service options (include eyebrow waxing). My friend and I opened for gel manicures and they came out beautifully! Cured also provides gorgeous nail art options (check out their insta y'all). I found the salon to be very fairly priced for the quality service and atmosphere of the salon. I paid $40 for my gel manicure - they have all of their pricing on their website. Very very happy with my nails, the friendly staff, beautiful nail service options! Would it be weird if I wanted to move in and permanently live here!? The style of this salon is impeccable. The color palette and decor they chose makes it feel like you're in a Restoration Hardware magazine...in France...surrounded by heirloom antiques. I didn't know what to expect when arriving but I was pleasantly surprised with their upscale polish options like Chanel and many others I actually didn't know I needed in my life until I arrived. Service was prompt and I especially enjoyed the extended massage. Most importantly the tools she used were brand new/ had been sterilized. I watched her open the fresh package up, that made me feel good about cleanliness and safety. I don't know if all nail salons have cute gold tips on their nail trimmer tools but now I want them for my own collection. I picked a gray color for my toes and did OPI Funny Bunny gel on my nails. So far I'm loving both! So nice to see a high end nail salon finally making its way to Nashville. I've gone to others in Nashville that seem to be high end, but it just ends up like a VIP club on the Vegas strip with loud music and sparkles just waiting for a Justin Bieber song to come on. CURED was not only high end, but it was classic. Like The Hamptons type of classic but with a comfortable low key brunch with girlfriends mimosa type of vibe. I think it would be amazing for a bridal party with so many photo opportunities. I felt comfortable with their prices, competitive to anywhere else I've gone in Nashville worth mentioning. I didn't know where to park so I parked on the side in a random parking lot. Looks like there's a lot of up and coming businesses beside them under construction. So I'm assuming once those are complete, parking will be pretty straight forward? Don't let that name fool you though, my technician did meticulous and precise work on both my feet & hands. I was there for about an hour. It's a lovely studio in East Nash with plenty of free off-street parking! I had a morning appointment for a gel quickie manicure and was able to be seated very quickly! I have been to CURED once before and loved it! However this last time was the worst experience of services I have ever had. I booked a Gel Mani and CURE ALL Pedi and both were horrible. I didn't receive a full manicure and I had Gel on previously and the young woman FILED IT OFF! She did not soak it, even though I booked a Soak off Gel service, so they can plan ahead, she FILED it off which resulted in tore up cuticles and skin and extremely thin nails that with pressure hurts. The Gel was applied so thick that it was bubbly and like a massive blob sitting on my finger, and the sides of my nails were not painted. Even as I was walking out it was already peeling up from the base on one of my fingers. I immediately called the salon because I did not want to make a scene as they were extremely busy at the time, and spoke with Mallory about my experience. I will say that Mallory and the other receptionist are the sweetest humans you will ever meet. Mallory was very understanding of my situation and immediately booked a redo gel manicure at no charge for a few days later. I went back in and received the service from a MANAGER NAIL TECH, and her attitude the whole time was appalling, making me feel like this was my fault. There seemed to be zero communication of the issue to her. I asked her multiple time to please not file my nails AT ALL and she didn't listen. It hurt and sucked! She did soak off the Gel, but rather than continuing to soak she filed....I'm assuming this is because she didn't have the patience to wait for the gel to completely soak off. Overall she seemed peeved and annoyed. Now 3 days later my GEL MANI is already TEARING OFF, not just peeling up and chipping off, literally tearing off and hurting and it feels like it is infected underneath. My nails are so thin and unhealthy that they can't even hold polish of any kind and it tore off past my nail bed. My pedi experience was zero, I didn't received what I paid for, no cuticle trimming, no massage just a complete rush job. I booked the CURE ALL service, I only received filing, the scrub, hot towel and polish....No Vitamin E treatment and NO extended massage, just a quick splash of lotion that wasn't rubbed in. When I pay $95 for something I expect to get my monies worth. I appreciate that they were so quick to offer me a Gel Mani redo, but I wish I would have said no and just asked for my money back. Now the long strong nails I use to have have been hurting for the past week and breaking off below my nail bed..... The atmosphere is amazing and so cozy but they need to take a step back and look at their nail techs and what they are doing to customers. I do have to say that the staff was nice, but from all the hype i feel like I expected more of an experience. Also kind of overpriced for a regular pedicure. I was really excited to try Cured after seeing they opened in East Nashville.. but hesitated because of some of the not-so-great reviews that came initially. I think those may be safely attributed to just some new business growing pains because I've now been 2 times and I LOVE THIS PLACE! The decor is lovely and welcoming, they have 2 people consistently dedicated to checking you in, getting you help with gel polish colors, and pulling those colors for their technicians, and getting you DRANKS! I just discovered on my most recent visit that you can enjoy a little glass of prosecco, rose or white wine (red gives me heartburn so if they mentioned that, I missed it) with your service - heavenly! I will say, the pedicure couch/chair situation is really nice, slightly awkward if you are a shorter person (I'm 5'4'' and just on the edge of being too short to be comfortable.. thankfully I have a short torso and long legs), but they have pillows to help keep you supported. I love all their products and honestly the best part about this place for me is just the quality of the polishes. I never realized how many places I've been that are diluting their gel polishes in such a way that it ends up being a bit of a mess afterward and I've just never had SUCH a good manicure like I get at Cured. I frequently have gel peeling problems and found that it's because my nail beds are too oily and need to be buffed/dehydrated really well before gel. This has been done on both my manicures and led to really long lasting results. I also have really short nails and I'll bite them even worse if I don't have anything on like gel or something and this can also lead to peeling when even just a tiny bit gets on skin/very fragile nail so I try to be mindful of that in general. But both times I have been to Cured my polish has lasted for 10+ Days and if you were a little better at nail care than me you'd definitely make it past 2 weeks. The online appointment system is super simple to use and convenient. I really like being able to schedule my own time vs. walking in. It has been busy every time I have been in there and the phone is constantly ringing with folks looking to book appointments so just get ahead of the game and book online - at this point they don't charge a cancellation fee they only ask for a 2 hour notice as a courtesy to the salon (which I mean.. DUH). As others have mentioned, the parking on the first visit can throw you off but it's really not too bad, they do have signs on the door and in your confirmation on the online booking system that will advise/remind you not to park at Biscuit House. The other thing I just have to mention is how much the employees genuinely seem to enjoy working there. I love places that treat their employees well. The aesthetic and vibe of Cured is on point - beautiful, bright space. Cured was recommended by a few friends so I decided to try it out. However, many many things went wrong and I was super bummed. First, I made a 1:30 appointment so that I could stop by on my lunch break. I was not seen until just after 2:00. This was disappointing. I'm usually very patient, but it was my lunch break and was already short on time. I was willing to forgive the delay if the manicure had been stellar, but it wasn't. My nails were cut far too short (so now they are at strange varying lengths), and it is the first manicure I've ever had where the gel was peeling in the corners after only 2 days, and almost completely peeled off by day 5 (and this was after days of no unusual activity that would have caused this). I would love to give it a second chance because I liked the space so much, but I'm not sure if I can. read more

I really wanted to love this salon, but I just don't. It's decorated well and the staff is very pleasant, but it's expensive, and my nails don't look great. I got a quickie manicure with gel and was in and out in 30 minutes, which made me nervous, but I tried to give my tech the benefit of the doubt. I left my appointment with my nails all different lengths, and my gel started peeling within an hour of leaving the salon. My nail tech wore gloves while doing my gel, so I left with a decent amount of polish on my cuticles and fingers. For $40 ($50 with tip), this is disappointing. I was super excited to have a nail salon close to home, meaning I didn't have to drive to Green Hills. I made an appointment on Saturday, for Tuesday evening. Upon arriving at the salon, I was pleasantly greeted. When I checked in for my 5pm appointment, I was told 'it'll be a while' and it was. I wasnt seen until after 5:30. I do like the openness of the salon and clean feel, but there's limited color selection and the quickie services are far from that! I kept pointing out things the nail tech was missing, like polish that didn't cover the entire nail. And resulted to inspecting everything - far from the relaxing experience I had hoped for. As I look at my nails today, disappointed, I wish I had left or rescheduled. I noticed someone commented on the reasonable prices - not. I paid the same as if I'd gone to Posh, in Green Hills, but without the quality and timeliness. I understand the salon is new and would likely give them 1 more chance, but this experience was lackluster, blah. I could have done about the same(probably better) myself...
