Three full business days of calling with ZERO response no answer, no callback, nothing. How do you run a business where you just ignore customers who have thousands of dollars' worth of their property sitting in your shop? This isn't being "busy" this is straight-up negligence and terrible customer service. At this point, I have no confidence in this shop whatsoever. If you can't even answer your phone, how can anyone trust you to handle repairs properly? Customers shouldn't have to chase you down just to get basic communication.

Damn, I just got ripped off by a mechanic...that's odd…read more.... I come in with my wife's 2013 Hyundai Elantra, let Miranda know that the back axel has been swaying on the freeway, so I think it may be the struts or the shocks. She says no problem, drop it off and come back in an hour. To get it inspected was $98 for one hour. So I came back, so far so good, and she tells me, no joke, "Well, our guy didn't spend the ENTIRE hour, but we are going to charge you for the full $98. We noticed you may need an alignment and brake work. So when you bring it back to get the shocks replaced, we'll do some extra inspection for you to make up for the time we didn't cover today." So I asked why we couldn't just get it prorated for the 30+ minutes of work she stated he did. She said usually they would, but they'd rather wait for us to come back and provide 'extra inspection", Well I don't want that, I want to pay for the labor provided. Not for FUTURE labor provided. How stupid is that? She than states that the $98 will not even go towards the work on the shocks! None whatsoever! So I just paid $98 for 30 minutes of inspection, that won't even go towards to the future work done. Final straw, she quoted $550. HA! Are you serious?? $648 in total, for a job the DEALERSHIP will do for $425???? Screw that. I should have listened to EVERYBODY else I talked to since I moved here and went to Bay Brakes or Del Monte Auto. You've lost our business for life.

Jose and His Team Saved Me From Costly Repairs!…read more When my trusty 2002 Ford F150 Lariat started acting up, I was at a loss. It had been running smoothly until a few fuses blew. I thought I could handle it on my own, so we replaced them at home the next day. However, despite my best efforts, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was seriously wrong with the transmission. I could have sworn someone had tampered with it; it felt like the whole thing was about to give out. Confused and a bit panicked, I turned to my brother for advice. Without hesitation, he recommended Jose, proclaiming, "Jose is an honest man; he'll do right by you." Given my brother's track record for quality recommendations, I decided to take his word for it and got my truck towed from Hollister to Castroville. (Stay tuned for my next review on that experience!) I dropped off the truck at Jose's shop on a Monday morning at 9:15 AM, shortly after the shop opened at 8 AM. When I arrived, I was immediately struck by how busy he was. There were three cars already on lifts, a customer at his desk, and another on the phone. Despite the chaos, Jose was on top of everything; he walked out to greet us while still talking on the phone, listening closely to my account of the issues I had encountered. As I recounted the sequence of events--from the pre-fuse change symptoms to the post-fuse change rollercoaster ride that felt like my transmission was in freefall--Jose's attention never wavered. He took note of every detail. After a thorough diagnostic, Jose identified one additional faulty fuse that had escaped my notice. He promptly replaced it and cleared out the bad codes, which was part of the repair and inspection process. What impressed me most was not just his efficiency but his commitment to transparency. Jose took the time to explain ensuring that I understood what was going on with my truck. Thanks to Jose and his team, I dodged what could have been a costly repair. I left his shop feeling relieved and grateful. Jose truly lives up to my brother's recommendation; he is indeed an honest man who does right by his customers. I highly recommend his services to anyone facing car troubles--trust me, you won't regret it!

Before putting down a deposit or anything, I asked whether the clutch and clutch coil were included, and she said yes. I confirmed it a second time before going through with the purchase. My grandpa was on the phone and witnessed this. Then the next day, when they got the part, she called me and said I'd need to buy the clutch and clutch coil, and I was confused because she'd said it was included. I told her I'd confirmed with her, and she said she hadn't said it was included. We went back and forth, and in the end, I moved my car to a different shop. Overall, why would a shop buy a part that doesn't include the part that I told them was the main problem? Next time, before buying a part, make sure it's the part I told y'all I needed, so y'all don't have to lie about whether it was or wasn't included. I had to pay a restock fee of 355$. If you decide to go here, make sure EVERYTHING IS IN WRITING!!!!!!. Since they want to comment and say I didn't say anything about the clutch (which I knew was the main problem and the reason why I called them in the first place). I didn't know the A/C compressor or the clutch coil had issues, because I'd been having clutch problems for a while and knew it needed to be replaced. As I said, while on the phone, I confirmed with them that the AC compressor would come with the AC compressor, clutch, and clutch coil, and that the rest was already explained above. Comment for the owners: Don't say I didn't know I had an issue with my clutch, because that was the first thing I said on the phone when I called. Get your facts straight.
