I have not had an outside mechanic do any work on any car of mine in well over 20 years with the exception of warranted work. Was a I skeptical? YOU BET. Age is the great equalizer when it comes to continuing my own repairs. NOT! SITUATION: GMC 1500 Sierra, failed Smog, engine light, knock sensors gone bad. Thanks to the idiot engineers at GMC , they are DEEP in the valley between both cylinder banks.requiring a complete removal of the intake manifold. Been there done that, myself. UGH! Estimate was off the industry standard of how many hours this repair should take for a trained technician.which was GREAT. Maybe the Chilton Book? No hunting around trying to figure out what is wrong. All replaced parts were given to me (without asking) . BONUS. I knew there was a slow leak somewhere in the cooling system and had been refilling every once in awhile . I did forget to mention this. I was contacted told of a leak (I knew but forgot about it) Approved the repair and all went well. even found that the spark plugs were loose. That too, I forgot to mention. Yes they were, they found them however, tightened them up and replaced two bad ones. At this point my confidence was solid behind them and I had no question about this small added expense This is not the last time and will use Rigo's again ..NO QUESTION about that. read more

They installed my relocation brackets incorrectly almost causing my rear wheels to come out as I was driving. Luckily nothing happened but It could have gone worse. The relocation brackets were to make my 15 inch radials to fit, they did not even cut the brackets as it was part of the installation, they just squeezed them in there almost causing me to get into an accident. TERRIBLE I will never be coming back to them again. read more

I went to riggos on a Saturday looking for a smog check. Smog guy wasn't there... So I was given a 130 appointment for the following Monday and a quote of 30 dollars for the smog check... Awesome I'm happy. Monday 130 I arrive at riggos and it's all locked up with a sign saying they would be back at two pm. I waited.. At 2:20 pm I gave up and left. I was frustrated no one called me to cancle my appointment. But having come highly recommended I decided to try again Called the shop several times and no one ever answers so I go back. On a we'd over a week later. Yeah smog man is there. I told him what happened and he seemed to care less. Then proceeded to tell me it was the bosses fault that I was given a bogus apptment and a false quote. I just was oh well let's just get this done. His 15 min quote of time was Closer to 30 minutes and he just kind of threw the paper work at me. I'm sad because I would have liked to have found a local mechanic but I guess I'll keep looking read more

If i could give this auto shop 100 stars then that s what i am gonna give them. Rating: 10 out of 10. That is how good they take care of their customers. I had few bad moments and experiences with auto shops/mechanics.Either i was ripped off or being lied to On top of that they did not fixed the problem, hence another expenses on my end. I was beyond and i am still grateful that a co worker of mine referred me to RIGO'S. This place is awesome! Very honest people and i believed it is run by a family and the owner himself who is Rigo is the one who will take care of your car and he is not in a hurry. This place is worth a trip and last but not the least and which is the best part ever is they charge less!!!!! Way cheaper than any shop i know! Give it a try and you will not be DISAPPOINTED. Great place to get a smog Check quickly. They also sell tires. I got two cars smogged in under an hour on a Friday. Great job.

We had a truck which sold and we needed a smog check ASAP. Rigos is in my neighborhood and we try to use local business's as much as possible. I stopped in to ask if they had available time as was told yes after 2pm. I told my daughter who called to confirm and was told to bring the truck in a 2:30pm. My son-in-law took the truck down at 2:30 and was told there was no tech on site to perform the Smog. This put us in a real spot. I called to ask how this could happen and was told that was just the way it was. I could hadly get a word in to explain our position and was told "I don't care" and hung up on me. Not a good way for a small business to get and keep business. We have numerous vehicles and could have given them a lot of business but instead I am making a complaint and will never give them an opportunity again. I give then negative stars for not even attempting to apologize. read more
