I looked online and I really liked the web site: Once I gave a pizza size, it adjusted the site to show all the different topping costs for that size - supposedly. I called in my order rather than doing online, after making sure I could get a pizza without cheese. When I got to the restaurant and saw their printed menu, I saw that what was listed online was like 15% lower! I looked at my bill after ordering and it still seemed way high. My receipt was not itemized at all, just a final cost. I asked the clerk there. Many times when I sign a credit card receipt there is a sort of throw away comment at the bottom like "Thank you so,much for your business!". Only later I looked at my bill at the bottom. It said something to the effect of "You will pay us the entire cost, as determined by your issuer." Figure that out? When I asked the clerk she said "There is a 3% surcharge for a credit card, and we always post it clearly!" Why didn't they just say there was a 3% surcharge directly? I found no surcharge comment anywhere else on the printed menu or online, and sure didn't infer it to start. Maybe I would have seen something if I completed the order online rather than calling it in. My order took 15-20 minutes longer than they said. I had very clearly at least twice said NO CHEESE. When I got there the woman asked me to describe what I had ordered. I said one had no cheese. She went back to the cooks and said they were starting to make it now (about when it was supposed to be ready). I am only guessing that she totally forgot to note the no cheese in the order, and they started over from scratch, just then. Quality is hit or miss from my experience and lately past year has been HUGE miss. Most the time the pizza is like cardboard with cheese never enough sauce. The quesadillas I use to love have lately almost always come dry with not enough cheese and chewy fatty cartilage pieces of chicken in every other bite and the chicken itself is so dry like its old from the fridge an they reused it and even has a different flavor. I use to order from them ALL THE TIME but now about the only thing i will eat off their menu is a salad sadly. Their quality has seriously gone downhill with their pizza my biggest disappointment. Ordered takeout on a Saturday night, order was ready on time , however the wings are small and contained the tips. Pretty sad for the price I had to pay. The pepperoni calzone had hardly any pepperoni in it . Not my usual spot but my husband was getting Chinese across the street so I thought I'd grab a cheese pizza for my kids and I. First off.. online ordering.. that's usually a giant positive... there's is just stupidly set up and confusing.. I thought I put half pepperoni.. apparently I didn't.. I was sternly told online ordered cannot be changed.. sorry. Now call me crazy but if you want to generate business and not look like a total jerk.. I'd prob just slap the 8slices of Pepperoni on the half of the pizza and take the whole like 30 cent profit loss to have a positive customer experience, but apparently not. I have never written a review on yelp but after 10+ years of ordering from route 33 pizza I can say I will never order again. We got a philly cheese steak pizza delivered and it was burnt to a crisp. I called them and they offered another pizza. The girl on the phone was so quick with me. I said I didn't want to make them come back out but as we all realized the pizza was inedible I called them and said we would take another pizza. The girl on the phone said if we didn't eat it they would take it back. I'm sorry but with covid you shouldn't be taking any food back. I said we tried one slice and she said the manger/ owner whoever said well we need to pay for the next pizza since we already ate part of it. I understand but we have been HUGE fans of this place for years. And working in the same industry I would offer my loyal customers good service. Good , solid restaurant with a very large variety of food options. I've had pizza , grinders , calzones and wings and they've all been very good. I get a pizza once a week from there due to their consistently good pizza. No huge flare or wow factor with pizza sizes but very good tasting and quality. read more

I was there today only because I was starving and saw it as I was passing by. I ordered their Greek salad with grilled chicken and it was fabulous. I was pleasantly surprised by the 4 stuffed grape leaves and delicious, warm, soft bread that came with it. The grilled chicken was perfectly marinated and cooked, and there was plenty of it. The Greek dressing, which I ordered on the side, was creamy and delicious. Plenty of feta cheese rounded out the salad nicely. I work in South Hadley and will definitely be back! Called rt33 Pizza and asked if they had wings and the price of them. Then I had asked if they had a pizza and wing deal. The woman I was speaking to huffed and than hung up on me. When I called back to find out why I was hung up on the man that answered the phone said it fell. I personally have dropped phones many of times but never once did I drop it and it slammed it on the receiver. Food is average. Nothing that stands out as a superior but decent enough for easy weekend takeout. The reason for the low rating is purely lack of integrity. When putting a phone order in for delivery, the price came out much higher than my own sum calculations and I was using a coupon that should have made one item $19.99. When asked about the extreme price inflation, she explained her take on the coupon and breakdown (the coupon was for a $19.99 3-topping party size pizza) we ordered a party size Hawaiian (ham, pineapple, bacon = 3 toppings). She proceeded to explain that the pizza was $28-sthing, bacon and pineapple are priced as 2 toppings each so essentially I ordered more than 3 toppings (according to her). How that came to 28+, I cannot seem to assertain however ordering a regular party size Hawaiian is 23.95 (menu price). The mere fact that she was willing to charge me almost $5 more for a pizza using a coupon is not necessarily illegal but certainly shows an extreme lack of integrity & character. read more
