Ugh... tough one. As a New Yorker and former Brooklyn restaurant owner now living in Western Mass, I get it. Great pizza costs more. Good ingredients and real skill matter. Their pizza is way better than most pizza around here, so I think it's well worth the price. Staff was lovely, atmosphere and amenities are bright, clean, awesome. But... You can't redo the whole place, build a nice bar, put beer and wine signs everywhere, and then charge $7 for a Bud Light, $12 for a Jess, and $21 yes, $21 for a Tito's and soda. You're playing the short game. This is a neighborhood with working class families that would love to splurge and support your business - please consider that bar prices aren't listed and when they come on a tab and are double standard pricing it feels predatory. He's been closed for renovations for almost a year and now he reopens and says he's closing for the month of July for vacay. What a joke. His pizza is just ok and overpriced. For one large and one small pizza costing 84$ I would've expected spectacular pizza. Everything was just good...nothing great. We ordered New Haven crust, which was supposed to be paper thin and charred...it was an average crust (pictured below). I had try this place twice the 1st time over a yr ago i order their NY style pizza and it was a big FAIL. So i decided to try it again thinking it must have been a off night but NOPE the 2nd time was even worst. I asked for the NY style and i was so disappointed that they call what they gave me a "NY style pizza". This past weekend was my 2nd time there and my last. They have so many different styles (they claim) but can even do a traditional NY STYLE PIZZA pie. Service was nice and ambience is kinda ok. They charge $27 for a large cheese pie that is not even worth $10, Guys pls do better, i now live in Indian Orchard and still looking for the right pizza ( because i gave up looking for the perfect pizza down here). First off, you can't claim to make a Neopolitan style pizza without the special oven imported from Italy that is wood burning and you can't make a New Haven style pizza without a coal fired oven. On our drive from California to Rhode Island we called in an order here because it's right off the freeway. The pizza was done in 25 minutes and the guy on the phone was really nice. I love that they have so many styles of pizza -- NY Sicilian, Bar Pie New Haven Style -- really fun! We got a large margherita New Haven style with pepperoni. The large is ENORMOUS - 8 giant slices. Normally I eat 3-4 slices of a pizza, with this 2 was perfect. The basil and the tomato sauce taste nice and fresh. The pepperoni isn't super greasy, "cups" up and the edges are nicely toasted. Loved everything about this place except for inability to get regular water. (They made us pay for Dasani.) We tried Boston, Neapolitan and Chicago styles. Neapolitan was my favorite but all were tasty. I would say don't be too attached to the style names of the pizza crusts. It is not a slavish recreation of those regional styles but rather taking this restaurant's style and doing a mashup in that general direction. I wasn't going to write a review at all, but changed my mind. I do think this pizza is good so I'm giving it a star for that. What this pizza ISN'T, is $65-for-two-large-pizzas good. We ordered one plain cheese and one large bourbon chicken. So basically ONE topping on two cheese pizzas. The chicken was super dried out and there was BARELY any on it at all. Maybe two small chicken tenders-worth. He was trying to charge me $3.50 for ranch on the side because my husband didn't like it ON the pizza, but I can buy an entire BOTTLE for $2, so I said never mind. Is the guy nice? Sure. Is he out of touch with what his work is worth? Yes, very much so. There's no wiggle room for 'no extra parmesan' or anything custom. I didn't want extra parm or oil on top, especially for my kids cheese pizza. Any (and I mean ANY pizza place - DOMINOS has better customization than here) other pizza place will make it how you want. This place doesn't even try to accommodate. Being rigid while charging over $30 for a pizza?! I really wanted to try some of their other crusts, but $28+ for a 10 inch pizza is STUPID expensive. I can't do it. I'm surprised people will spend this money right now, because I'm still pissed, and it's been a week! While we were waiting we got two draft beers... and it came to $17. I thought I was hallucinating when I saw the price. If I could have told him to pour them BACK into the keg, I would have. $17 for two draft beers is CRAZY time. I honestly didn't think I needed to ask the price before I ordered them. They give a discount for first responders. My husband showed his LITERAL firefighters badge for our town and he was like, "Oh, _______? I guess that counts..." as if he didn't even want to accept that?! I don't know. I just feel like this place is super stingy. I know they've won lots of awards.. and thats great. Their pizza is good, but this review isn't about the taste (Although I already spoke to the toppings, etc.) This place's prices and rigidity are terrible. It isn't sustainable for consumers. This establishment needs to HEAR these reviews. Don't take it emotionally, truly hear the words. You can't slap a customer with these prices, skimp on toppings, deny them customizing their own dinner, charge insane prices for all of these different crusts, and charge $8.50 for a draft beer. This place serves a great pie for the area! Thin yet chewy crust and a nice tomato sauce on the margherita. However, I didn't love the overly cooked basil (or the lack of it- very small amounts). I also didn't love the Parmesan? They drizzle on top. I think it's Parmesan- hard to say, but salty and unnecessary. I also found their prices to be a tad steep- $25 for a large pie. Lastly, they don't offer a Caesar salad so we opted for the house. It was fine- iceberg, some cheese, a chopped tomato. I think my expectations were a tad too high when I saw 'best in mass'. All I can say is that the grandma pie is to die for. Casa really gets it right. My fiancé is from the NYC / Long Island area so we know good pizza, and this one stands toe to toe with the best of them. I will be returning whenever I can to try more selections. Wow wow wow. We were lucky enough to get to try this pizza place recently. We were visiting friends in the area and they highly recommended this place. We went for the old fashioned pizza, regular crust and the Italian Stallion Detroit style. Both pizzas were unreal. The old fashioned was a new take on a margarita pizza, where the cheese is on the base and the tomato sauce sits atop the cheese. Wow. Such a simple idea but it was so delicious. The Italian stallion was up there with my favorite Detroit style local pizza place. Our friends also told us that the owners often visit Italy to up their craft, and this is quite obvious. For me, the sign of a good pizza is the crust. When I want to eat the crust sans toppings, that's how I know it's a winner. The crust was crispy and doughy at the same time. Don't ask me what I mean by that, just know that no crust was left behind. I wish I lived nearby to eat this again! read more

Jimmy makes a mean pizza, I've tried many of his pizzas and they are cooked to perfection every time. The wings are amazing too, we usually get the boneless with general tsos sauce on them, and ranch to dip them in. I have not tried the Sicilian pie yet but that's on my bucket list for there. Fresh ingredients for everything, and Jimmy puts his heart and soul into each pie. Even the salads are perfect. After seeing El Presidente's review I had to give this place a shot. I ordered a large neopolitan, 1/2 pepperoni 1/2 veggie. The quality of the pie was top notch. You could tell that they only use quality ingredients. It had a very crunchy undercarriage with almost zero flop. The crust handle was equally crunchy, just the way I like it. This place is a hidden gem. Honestly some of the best pizza we have ever tasted. Authentic NY pizza by the owner who loves what he does. We had come here initially for a snack but knew we had to come back for the pizza. The owner and staff are super friendly and the pizza was to die for!! Garlicy goodness. Luckily we had come on a not so busy night and my gf and I were craving 1. A pizza and 2. A calcone so we politely asked the owner if we could concoct this masterpiece and he sure enough did! You won't be disappointed coming here in fact you will be delighted. His attention to detail and the quality of his ingredients is what makes this place special. Sure anyone can make pizza but not everyone can convey their love for pizza on a plate. If we could give this place more than 5 stars we would! The only regret I have is that I couldn't try them all.
