Very disappointed - ordered paninis and they were horrible I would not consider them even close to a panini!. They were folded pita breads. So my wife had brought the children to a friends house and there they had ordered the "garlic wheel" from ludlow pizza. Kids loved it so I figured we would give it a whirl at our house. AMAZING ! Just perfect. Also we ordered the 30 piece wings which they were able to take out request of two diff flavors. The garlic parm wings are to die for. They were cooked perfectly and had a wonderful flavor. The bbq. Also great ! Topped it off with an order of fries which was more then a generous size for the price and were also perfect. So between myself and the wife and our two kids. Was a home run all around. We have so much leftover from the portion sizes we could totally have another dinner from all of it. If you enjoy hooters but are not in the mood to drive to West Springfield, Ludlow Pizza might be an alternative to seeing young women wearing tight shorts. I ordered two small pizzas yesterday via GrubHub. One was a half cheese and half pepperoni for the kids and a chicken and broccoli with white sauce for myself. The kids enjoyed their pizza. Mine was a little light on the sauce so it felt kind of dry. This is a downfall with most places that offer a Chicken Alfredo pizza. The crust was good. The kids opted for a thick crust over a thin. Mine was a little on the thick side which is how I guess this place makes it. Would be nice if I had a choice for a thin crust. All in all they were decent pies. Not extravagent but mediocre in my opinion. We tried them because it was something new. We have tried a few of the other places in Ludlow, MA. This was pure dog food. First off they told me a half hour for pickup which turned into over an hour, second both grinders I ordered were made completely wrong. Where is the attention to detail. The food tasted like crap I ordered a 16" steak and cheese and there as about 1 ounce of steak on it once again not even made to order. I will never go back here compete waste of money. My friend ordered dinner online for us. It took 1 hr and 10 min to get it, with no warning that they may be very busy and longer wait time. My friend called questioning if everything was ok with our order. We were told they will be here soon. 10 min later the food arrived. They forgot the garlic bread that was supposed to come with my meal. The onion rings were burnt to a crisp, we couldn't eat them. Very bland chicken Parmesan. When we called to inform Ludlow pizza of the unable to eat, burnt onion rings. Would have been happy with fresh order or reimbursement, and I paid $14.99 for that meal, I'd still like my garlic bread! My friend was told they would give her a $5 credit the NEXT time she orders from them?? What's that? How about put my money back on my card!!! . That is BAD business folks!! Someone should have come back with the garlic bread, they should have brought a fresh order of onion rings. They could have had the burnt ones back. If it's going to be more than 20 minutes that's fine but just tell me the accurate time so I'm not sitting there for 20 more minutes like an idiot. The food was just OK; in comparison to other pizza places in the close area I would avoid this place. I went here a few weeks after their grand opening. The girls who I spoke to on the phone and who greeted me at the register were very nice. They had opened the wall up from the previous business so you could see into the kitchen. My "hi how are you today" to the kitchen staff was greeted by a stare with no response..... On 4/14/15 going into the business next door to them I witnessed the staff yell at a boy scout asking for donations for heart disease. This young boy was told to leave that there is no soliciting, and if he did not leave he would call the police. What a way to run a business, making young children who are trying to raise money for charity cry. All in all a staff that is not customer or community oriented with OK food, the reasons to dine here are few and far between. read more

Ordered scallop dinner for pickup. Before I left the restaurant I asked the clerk if there was tarter sauce in my order. Yes I was assured there was. When I got home there was not. Scallops were cooked very dark but seemed fresh inside. For me the best part of seafood is the tarter sauce. I called to tell them of the missing tarter sauce and was told that I would get 10% off my next order and That their delivery person would not be able to drop off the sauce. To go back would mean my dinner is cold. So, getting 80 cents off my next order is hardly worth the total disappointment of this dinner. Don't think I will return. Ludlow Pizza is pretty close to 5 Stars, I have to say they earn 4.5 STARS, we have never had a problem except for making sure I understood correctly via phone ordering because of a thick accent but that's okay too, I just make sure I heard it right. The food is better than average and super fresh with large portions for a big appetite. We get ours delivered and it has never been over 1/2 hour which is a miracle considering distance, traffic and the multiple orders they have to fill, it's always been fast and hot, they have never been late and it's never been cold. The menu is massive so everyone will find something, pasta has never been overcooked which is amassing, the salads are fresh and crisp but to judge a Pizza house you have to judge by the PIZZA. If you divide pizza places in categories with [#1 being great], [#2 being average] and [#3 being forget about it], I have to say Ludlow Pizza fits into #1. They make a very nice & tasty classic pizza pie. It's up with the best of them and they put the fast pizza places to shame. You simply cannot compare them to those fast food pizza joints, this is a true homemade pizza with fresh ingredients which you can taste. Everything is fresh all the time, I can't recall ever being displeased with freshness. If you haven't tried them you should, if you like a classic homemade fresh pizza or have an appetite like a horse this place will not disappoint you. I guess anyone can make a mistake in an order but freshness is not by accident, you need to plan that and this food is fresh - each time. Price is not a problem either, how this place can produce such large portions for the price is amassing, you will not walk away hungry, that is for certain. No problems with this place, good quality food, hefty portions, a first rate pizza pie and fast service all add up 4 1/2 Stars from me and my wife. read more
